118 118 Money

The app itself not the company is the reason for the 2 stars. On download the app continued to 'spin' and wouldn't load correctly. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and now everytime I try to log in it gives me a 500 error message. For some reason my direct debit cancelled and I've been trying to set it up via the app before my first payment is due and I'm not able to.

I've got a credit card with them and it had a good amount of money in there then all the sudden ALL of that money is now in a few pence... wtaf? nothing in transactions and my card has been frozen for over a week I'm trying to pay it off but it's impossible when all the money on the card just disappears. absolutely nothing? would not recommend, stay away if you can.

very pushy tried to tell them I need to change my payment date with no luck. also they keep telling me that I am in arrears when 2 payments were taken on same day so I am not. wish I had not bothered to go to them for a loan. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE AS THEY ARE CON ARTISTS.

This app is dysfunctional as no matter how many times I enter my Bank details and it is confirmed as set up it immediately once I close my app disappears.

I thought it was just an annoying apps like others. but my judgement is wrong. within 8 hrs I got cash to my bank. still I felt that I was dreaming . but it's real

So far I am very grateful for the loan I received recently. It meant I could pay off a long outstanding amount owed to my bank. payment was made promptly to my account & the repayments are affordable. For the 3 year term. But I plan to have this paid much sooner than 3 years. Having only recently got the loan. I cannot give a definitive review but their corresponding emails are very informative & helpful. I appreciate 118 118 approval for my loan.

They cannot solve a problem as simple as making a refund.You have to talk to 500 people and nobody solves it. This credit card is not worth it. The email you wrote doesn't work. The app doesn't work, the email doesn't work, absolutely nothing works..

Since the new update on 31st of May 2023, its become laggy and won't let me see my card details. It keeps saying no account and asks me to contact customer services. The whole app freezes and won't log me in half of the time. It run perfect before this. *UPDATE* So now I've discovered on the payment due date, when you try to log in nothing happens. It stays like this until your payment is late and then they charge you a late payment fee.

Absolutely shocking app!! Can't sign in due to the apps insistance on demaming to send a code to a phone number I've not had for years. Been trying for ages to get CS to change it, each time they message me to say it's been done when it clearly hasn't!! Then to top it off, because I can't access my account I keep getting snotty messages (to the correct number) telling me to make a immediate payment, wait for it.....using the app lol. Shambolic!!!!!

App is very good if you want to know your balance. However, if you want to make additional payments with a saved card, don't bother. It doesn't allow you to make any extra payments, and says its your banks fault that the payment fails. Checking with the bank, there is no record of any attempted payments. The payment fails at the app end, and they won't fix it.

This is one of the worst apps I've ever used. I can only see my loan information, not my credit card info. When I try to access help, it says no files available, when I access my loan, it tells me I've paid it off and have no outstanding payments, even though I've not long taken it out. Waited and waited in queues for help. This is the single worst app I've ever used.

Easy to use. Excellent budgeting tool. Absolutely love it.

Appalling App Two days ago and not for the first time, it said my debit payment had been withdrawn and I was up to date and ahead by a month. Had an email from the company saying a payment would be waved as a good will gesture. Then, thinking I have more money to play with, I find that the app is not telling the truth and a debit payment has now failed. Screen shot taken of ballance from two days ago.

I would not recommend 118 118 for anything worst company I have ever dealt with they cancelled the DD and then harassed me constantly with texts and phone calls despite numerous attempts to resolve there problem they continue to harass me i will no longer be dealing with them my lawyer will be sorting them out with court action

pointless, I dont really see the point it has a time clock and some numbers it doesn't give any guide and after 30 minutes of doing the same thing it was just pointless, chat gpt does better

If u could give it 0 stars I would . It sends a variation pin to my phone when it feels like to log in . Then when it dosnt send one and I try again, it say to many attempts and blocks it for a hour . Tried to pay my balance and number don't come up . Had to pay over the phone , tried to explain to customer services and they wernt much help either . Moving to a different credit card .

Can you sort out your app please. The app is full of problems. At the moment, it doesn't even open. It hasn't loaded for many days, so I don't even have access to my account. When you click to open the app, it doesn't even go past the very 1st page, the page where you have the 2 moustached guys standing there on their 118 shirts with a paper sign saying "Nice to see you". And that's it. It's just stuck there. I've tried everything, checked for updates, restarted the phone, etc. Doesn't work.

it is incredibly slow. it is run by amateurs on an excel spreadsheet. plus side it gives you a credit limit for which you are highly charged. Downside is it is not a proper credit card and i can only assume uses spreadsheets on excel - it took 3 days to get my last payment clear. if you like this it is a good app. for me the balance does not work and i have just been embarrassed whilst trying to make a payment. if you are immune to embarrassment - great card
