2048 is a simple yet addictive puzzle game where you slide numbered tiles to combine them and reach higher values. The concept is easy to understand, but the game quickly becomes challenging and requires planning and patience. The minimalist design keeps the focus on gameplay, and there are no complicated controls. However, the game can feel repetitive after long sessions, and one wrong move can end a good run.
Simple, ad free, gets the job done. My only complaint, and this is because I've been playing it too long at this point, is that the undo option only undoes one move. I wish it undid further back, maybe 3 moves, since you do get in a bit of an autopilot mode sometimes, and it ends up leading to fast moves that can ruin a days long game at times without you realizing in time to undo the one wrong move. But that's just me being picky. It's a great app all around. 100% 5/5.
Literally is nothing but everything it needs to be. Practically lowest file size it could be, perfectly responsive, unsure why some reviews say otherwise, and it is 2048. More mobile games need to live up to their simple promises and even such light hearted games end up plagued with ads, so absolute 5 stars for this game for being unobstructive. It also saves your progress from whenever you close the game and would never get lost, unless you uninstalled likely, and has a generous undo button.
ad free and works without internet. I play a lot when im having trouble sleeping. the colors are chill and its just challenging enough to get my brain going but not obnoxious and going to keep me awake. it gets my brain off the overthinking loop that keeps me awake. also great for plane rides!
Great ad-free 2048. The game itself is super fun and a great way to pass time. In case if you were wondering, the game saves your highscore, it can be played offline, and there are abosultely no ads, even if connected to Wi-Fi. Great game overall, and probably the best version of 2048 you can find.
I rather like it after playing for at least ~8 hours total. Imo I'm decent at this game, and playing it for a few hours over the course of a week or two should be practice enough, if you feel as though you need some. The no ads bit of this particular version of 2048 is great. I understand the point of ads but they annoy and destract me in a game that requires focus like this one.
Love the game and it's well developed, except for one thing. Everytime I start Up the game, it automatically signs into Google play games. It's all fine, but for some reason that takes way to long and in the mean time I can't use the app, which makes quick sessions impossible. It would be great if I could play while it's logging in.
This is the only "game" I currently have installed....have had it for a long time. No adds...just play. And the only game I have ever had where it's possible to win everytime you play...no algorithms that keep you from winning. The only way you dont get a 2048 is human error...ergo...not paying attention to the numbers...which happens regularly.
Puzzle game in which the user moves the blocks in order to combine them and reach that oh-so-great 2048 (or any higher number if you can!) by adding same numbers to obtain the block x2 (4 and 4 makes 8 block / 8x2 makes 16 block). That said, as simple as it sounds, is very challenging and entertaining. A real brain warmer and mind exercising app among the sea of trash that is the Store these days. There are no ads or permissions of any kind, works offline, is simple and works great. 5 stars!
Very good and simple app. No need to sign in. The best part: NO ADDS!! Two advices to improve the game: 1. You can see your current score and you best score. But it's calculated in a very odd way. It would be better to simply show the highest number we got. 2. The colours indicate the rarity of the number. 2 and 4 are gray, whilst 16 is orange. But from 128 and above, it's just yellowish. They should keep red for very high numbers, and provide a wider range of colours. 5 stars anyway.
The best time killer and the best offline game I have seen yet. There no ads to annoy us. No need to purchase some stupid membership to play a better version. Just simple puzzle game. It's definitely worth a download. It should be one the premium games. I am fully prepared to pay money if in future a better version is there. Keep it up!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
I wish the number of undo steps was configurable. It is too easy to ruin a game by accidentally double swiping. Maybe there could be a separate high score for games with 0, 1, or 2 undos? Also, it would be great if there was a menu to disable swiping up (or in some other direction, depending on how you play).

ShelBear (SoftVelvet, Shelbeans)
Simple but fun. NO ADS! Move the blocks to combine like numbers until the spaces are completely filled. Took me about 50 moves to figure the mechanics out. All blocks move when you go to combine numbers. It is a simple game, but can be quite challenging. Most important? NO ADS!
Ad-free, no in-app purchases, clean and simple design. It's the almost the perfect mobile game. My only (very minor) complaint is I sometimes enable endless mode by accident and it doesn't seem possible to disable it afterwards.
Great but could do with a little calibration. So often I drag down and instead the game slides sideways. I play fast so sometimes do 2 moves and with the 1 move undo I can't fix my move. I practice the down swipes and they are down so it's either a problem on my XPERIA screen or compatibility with the device. would love to be able to calibrate swiping angles. That said it's still brilliant.
The game in general is rly good, the concept is outstanding and it's rly entertaining, especially during the first 3 or so plays where you had to try and figure out the most efficient play style to make it possible to continue until the end of the game (not 2048, but the 130k block, never reached it though I'm not that good :P) I'd give it 5 stars but unfortunately there is a UI glitch when you reach 7 digits on the counter (1 million+): the score starts overlaping the game's name on the left :|
No audio, no sound effects (hey, sometimes I like 'em), but the main thing's that it's truly got no ads...open-source, too, which is cool. Also, practically no un-do option; only one move back is available -- but this one's definitely good enough for something that's truly free!
Great game and truly is ad free. It's been an addicting game. Dark mode would be nice, too!Screen constantly freezes. I've completely closed out of the app to reset it, removed and reinstalled the game, restarted my phone. Every 2-3 moves, the screen gets darker (like your phone screen is timing out) and the app freezes. It used to do it only periodically and would be fine after closing and reopening the app, but now I can't even enjoy the game. Can we get this fixed at least?
It is fun! I mastered the pattern and won! Don't move all around the screen. Try to not swipe left. Just up, down and right. And the end when you have the big two numbers (1024) then feel free to move wherever to add them up! Good luck and have fun!
Fun and addicting... However the addiction quickly wears off when you figure out how to win. It would be nice if their was timer to improve replayability in terms of seeing how fast you can reach 2048. Oh and as others mentioned, the undo button makes it too easy to cheat, and needs to go.
