4Warn Weather

Wish I could uninstall this new version and bring the old version back. This "upgrade" is terrible. I want the current weather available when I touch the temperature info on the widget like it was before, but there's no option for that. Difficult to find the info I want and way too many ads. Newer isn't always better. Put it back the way it was please. Uninstalling until it's fixed.

Terrible! It's way too busy, showing too many things other than weather, and also in its graphic design. The "title" page - light blue with white icons - is the most attractive page in it, but looks squished, like a movie projected in the wrong ratio. The app offers an edit option for one's home location, but wouldn't let me enter my address or zip code or even the "use map" option provided! Also, the previous version just disappeared without any alert that a new version was coming.

This app provides accurate local weather, but the updated version is much worse than the previous version! Most importantly it's missing the up-to-date forecast videos! There are way too many ads, which I could live with since it's a free app, but the ads get in the way and are very distracting. Even if it didn't have ads the app is not user friendly and is hard to navigate. Please bring back the attributes from the previous version(s)!

This review is not about the accuracy of the forecasting, as I prefer theirs! I just hate how they changed the app - it isn't as easy to use as it used to be. Lots of changing screens to switch from past weather to forecasted weather and limited choices where there used to be much more flexibility. NOT a good update to the app, if you ask me, unfortunately.

I've been using this app for only a few minutes so far and I think it's great. From the interactive radar to the hour by hour, the latest forecasts from the best team in meteorology, and even traffic cams. Allow it the permissions it needs and it should be a smooth experience with info specific to where you are. I'll update this if/when anything changes.

As of yesterday afternoon, it stopped working. I could open it, see ads and the header, but no other data. I uninstalled and when I tried to reinstall it says it's not compatible with any of the 3 devices I used it on beforehand. I really liked this app. I would have given it 4 stars because it was the most liked and most accurate weather app I have used, but it did have some hiccups occasionally. Still waiting for a reply from the developer.

Too many ads that dont clear the screen so you can locate the weather. too cluttered for a low vision person

I find the new update to the app's widget to be quite pleasing, as it is both useful and enjoyable. Furthermore, the app appears to be more stable. It is indeed a wonderful update.

Aug 1st-sent an email to the email privided by the app, asking how I remove locations I dont want & change the order of those I do want. 19 days later & not even an automated response. No response last year when I asked a different question. I also checked the junk folder. I have since located where to delete & how to set a default location. I can't arrange the rest unless I edit the street number to lowest to highest in order. I do love the forecasts & how it works once on desired location.

Not a fan of the new version for several reasons and I used to love the old version except for speed of loading map... radar map only shows thru current activity and goes so fast you miss it if you blink. I used to use the hourly forecast all the time and don't like the new one at all. Zero stars if it would let me. Go back to something simpler and useful, please! Do we really need to see all the daily forecast history? I uninstalled wivb and found wgrz which is similar to old wivb app.

No stars was not an option, so I gave it 1 star. I've used this app for many years, and I used to love it. This update has ruined the app. There is no longer an option to set what alerts you get. Some people may not want ANY alerts and now there is no way to turn it off. I don't care if there is lightning 15 miles away. It's got huge ads now and popups. I will be deleting the app.

The app is broken. Every time I go to do something on the app, the app freezes and crashes. I'm uninstalling this app and never reinstalling it again. I'll consider reinstalling it once or if it even gets a major bug fix update. God knows when that'll be. Update: Now the app doesn't even load. It's time to take it off of the Play Store.

Alot less to offer and slower! The old App was better and helped me make daily decisions since it offered more information for one example the radar! Since the App has changed and split it Not only has less Weather information on it but it is either not accurate or just doesn't cover enough land for weather depending where you are or it could just be the plain white land and not enough detail!

I was forced to update the app because it was no longer loading. HORRIBLE update: the graphics look cheap and the layout is confusing and difficult to navigate. Also, the radar is more simplistic, runs too fast, and now requires multiple steps to switch from past to future displays. Then there are the intrusion ads. Unfortunately, I'll now have to look for another weather app.

Don't know what you were thinking with this last update. Your radar used to be the best. Now you put this washed out looking interactive radar on the app that you can't do anything with..can't look at future radar. Cand view satellite. Can't change anything. Not so interactive anymore. Wish you would go back to what you had before...this new version sucks.

Update ruined it. I've used this app for years, and a lways loved the ease of use and straightforward look. But they updated the app and now it is an over complicated mess. I loved th a t I c old just open it and see the forecast. Now there is more ads and more information th as t I font need. Haven't deleted yet, because at least the forcast(when I find/understand it) is still accurate, but I'm looking for something easier.

The app finally can load but now another stupid error is occurring. It says I need stronger internet connection. My WiFi is at it's maximum strength and it still won't work. It's gotten so bad I want to throw my phone against a wall. Fix your damn app!!!!

The new app stinks. Too big of an ad navigation of the app is not easy and the radar doesnt work. Shows nothing. You can't set up what you want its either this or that. Use to be able to choose how you want to see it. Cant put the temperature on my banner like it was before. Put it back!

I now have downgraded my rating to one star from 4 stars... Your update sucks, the main post with the black boxes and the stats above it are now to big and run over the boxes below it and are hard to see the stats above, also no verbal warnings of inclement weather in the immediate area, all setting are set to on but no warnings like lightning, heavy rain or snowfall, or flooding in the area, you used to send verbal messages before but now no one is getting anything of the sort...PLZ FIX ASAP

This app is worthless. Every time I travel from location to location, I have to manually change the location in the app. And even that doesn't work correctly most of the time, even location is always on, and the app is set to follow me. Have to find another app that actually works correctly.
