Good selection, I like the fact that I can cast from my phone rather than messing with extra plugs and cords to get tv, however it constantly drops out randomly, whether it be a few minutes into a show or as soon as it ends, it comes up with technical issue. Pressing retry doesn't do anything. I'm forced to close and reopen the app multiple times before it finally works. Like others have said, this is only happening with this particular app. Edit: now unable to watch anything on phone at all

This app is so glitchy. I Chrome cast from my phone. To watch a series, I have to stop casting after an episode and leave the App for awhile then go back. Never automatically goes in the the next episode even though I have it in settings to do that. Takes forever to watch something. 9Now, ABC View and SBS on Demand are great as well as Netflix. I only use it if there is something I want to see. I wish the developers of this App would fix the autoplay on it for users who Chromecast.

Every time I open this app I remember why I only ever use it to cast the footy to the TV. If you don't know exactly what you want, browsing the catalogue is painful. Whoever decided each alphabet letter should get its own sideways carousel with no option to view everything on one page should be forced to use their own interface on everything until they recognise why it sucks. If you change your mind it'll take you back to the start. 0/10 UX.

Pretty good free streaming app. Good mix of movies, TV shows, sports, and news. Basically old-school TV on demand. Ads play between shows, but that’s expected for a free service.

I've been using 7plus for a very long time. I love it so much. The thing I wish could be removed would be ads when people are watching seasons and episodes of a show or movie. And the only reasons ads should be there is for live TV channels only. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it. But I recommend 7plus to everyone. It works well on computers/laptops, TVs and mobile/tablets. I'm not so sure about gaming consoles.

The absolute worst app I've ever had the displeasure of using! There's nothing wrong with my internet or my TV. I've checked connections, deleted cookies and browsing history and done everything else possible. 7+ often goes to a black screen instead of showing programs available or playing the program, then very frequently freezes. The program doesn't resume where it was previously up to and then freezes again. I'm about done with it and will stick with the other free to air apps.

This ap has a lot of great shows however I find whenever I am streaming live tv the sound gets slower and slower and doesn't match the picture. I've tried fixing it to no avail. And it seems to randomly log me out every now and then. I have trouble when connected to a Chromecast too. Every time I leave the app while streaming, I have to reconnect to the Chromecast every time I want to pause it, rewind it etc. it's pretty frustrating.

Rubbish. Always freezing and glitching. Pop up ads take up a third of the screen whilst trying to watch a show. Pain in the arse. TURN THE AD VOLUME DOWN FFS!

Terrible app. TV shows are full of ads which aren't set to the same volume as the TV show your watching. Not all shows have a CC option. The cast icon disappears so I can't chromecast to my TV. Very short pause duration before it abandons my episode. It doesn't automatically play next episode. If I'm watching on phone and go out of the expanded screen to access buttons, I can't zoom in again.

Horrible app! Does not load properly on the TV no matter how much I tried to unistall and install the app. I spent more time trying to load the app that I missed an hour news on it. It is not my internet nor my tv that is the issue because other TV apps works perfectly fine. If I can give it a 0 I will!

when it works its faultless but occasionally it is difficult to connect to. internet plays a big part in streaming and that causes disruption to play. overall I am enjoying catching up on series I haven't seen before and also live streaming of the news and breakfast shows. I recommend 7plus

love the app except, too many adds when watching replays, like the cricket replays are 1 min adds every over, that's well and truly over kill. I don't mind normal amount of adds but when it's ridiculous like that it's Soo annoying it's not worth watching the replays. also I hope one day the start watching from start option happens for love tv

Can't fault 7Plus. My favourite channel and with 7Plus can catch up at my leisure...awesome!!! UPDATE The above review was from 2019. Have to now add at this date in 2025 we are not getting the best picture or sound, volume is drastically reduced and picture often blurry. Not sure what has happened? Is it their servers? Still my favourite channel streaming free to air app just not the best quality. If it's a movie I am watching, and available on Netflix then, of course I will switch instantly.

lots of ads and sometimes after the ad the episode glitches ( like it stops while the audio plays), so you just have skip forward 10s than skip back to fix it. But I'm watching a tv show on here for free compared to other platforms, and this platform is free so it's worth it

Great shows, poor reliability. Constantly drops out and them the resume function loses track of where it was up to. Have to go back to search function and start again. Ads often repeat straight away which is extremely annoying!!! We left 7plus years ago for the same reasons, and it still isn't fixed!! Just shows they don't listen to customers.

I am really enjoying 7+and the live programs and the content on offer . when I last reviewed in 2024 , there was a lot of issues with reception cutting out. I had wondered if it was due to my rural location but I have not had an issue for a long time now. 7+ seems to have resolved this issue ... so now can't think of one thing to complain about

good nuff. except so tedious to log in with phone everytime before home screen advertised show will play on smart TV. life to short. my phone shouldn't be involved with tv app unless I was using phone. what if I'm out and anyone wants to watch 7plus. they'd go to somewhere easier! I want phones on charger when I'm using smart tv or I'd use phone and cast the thing in the first place dumbass app

Won't remember shows watched all the time, been fixed. Love it now. Ads though get a bit annoying same ones each break. Also bit strange have count down only when watch on TV . Still have issues with not remembering what episode up to especially if watch on different devices. getting lockups even on free to air now in 2026

it stops on a blank screen on my mobile every time after an ad on old seasons of something. it's really freakin annoying. you try and watch something, anything, and it says it'll be back in 00.00 seconds, and then doesn't come back at all and you've only watched a few moments of the video.

worst app on Google. I have tried for three months. I tried everything 7 plus advised but same thing. error because screen wrong. I have the latest phone and software. every channel works, 9, 10 but seven never live streaming. horrible app and I would never recommend. waste of data. avoid 7 plus
