A+ Gallery - Photos & Videos

Great gallery app that could be even better. Once again I've had to search for a replacement gallery because for whatever reason developers seem to like to eventually destroy what they've created. This one ticks all the boxes, plus some. There are, however, some small things that would make it even better. Things that bother me - why display all the empty folders? No sort by size option, and finally - I've found moving files is painfully slow, like at least double the amount of time of others.

I really liked this gallery but I had a few problems that were deal-breakers. When deleting folders I often had to do it multiple times before it would work. I sometimes had problems moving files, too. I was about to purchase A+, but I finally had to switch to a different app and bought that one instead. Too bad - the layout and features of A+ were fine. I still don't like how A+ likes to move albums to other places without telling you - even if you don't set up or use the secure vault thing. Trying to find my pics while connected to my pc has been frustrating and exhausting. That said, it's still one of the better photo galleries out there that lets me manage my pictures without being overly weird about it. Still my go-to photo gallery app.

I am recently having problems naming albums. The whole title does not show. I never had a problem before. What am I doing wrong or what changed? I am so frustrated trying to sort my pictures into albums like before. Also when I then try to rename the album, to what I choose, it won't change. Love this app! But I could love it even more if it didn't move me along with my photos. For example: If I am in the folder "camera" & I move one pic to a folder called "printables", suddenly I'm in the folder called printables as well and I have completely lost my place in the camera folder. I have to go back to that folder and try to figure out where my sorting was abruptly ended.

This app has been a Godsend for me, as the default gallery on my phone is very limited in customization. It's very useful being able to change the cover image of albums, pin albums, and all those various customization features. However, this app really needs a way to sort to only see videos, because it is a pain having to look for the videos I downloaded amongst the hundreds of photos in my gallery. An option to sort by videos first would really be appreciated!

This app is nearly perfect! It's SUPER fast. I just have 2 complaints really. 1) video player is kind of weak, doesn't allow zooming in during playback - this feature has been on video playars for years now. 2) I must click a video twice to play it. Once to open it and a second click to play it. Why? Just play the video on first click! Or make that a settable option. I would love the ability to segregate video and photo in different tabs. Also give us the ability to turn off shopping cart stuff

Finally found a gallery that shows ALL of my photos! Others didn't show all of them like simple gallery, so glad i found one that does! Edit:ok so it's still a bit annoying, like it would be nice if you could rename a photo from this app, or be able to toggle being able to view the name of each picture on the bottom of each thumbnail, i think that would be good enough for me to rate 5 stars

1: If you are looking at a photo and press share.. Navigate to messages, select the person.. It takes you there... Without the photo added. 2: Moving a photo to another album takes you to that album which 80% of the time is not what I want. Certainly annoying if organizing. 3: Edits create a whole new file placed elsewhere instead of the option to replace. Mild annoyances. Otherwise stellar, great work. I am rarely this satisfied. Thank you.

Best by far. I'm going through the laborious process of moving from my beloved Windows phone to Android. There has been many many hurdles including the photo gallery. Most of them just scooped up every jpg on the SD card and threw them in front of me no rhyme or reason. This gallery program sorts things like my old windows phone. Logically. It's great, give it a try.

Pretty darn great photo organizer, editor and uploader. So far all images and videos created could be directly shared to the gallery. There's an optional four digit code to access your files for safety and privacy. I think I will like it better than Google photos for organizing and sharing once I take a deep dive into all the features. I was looking for something like this for quite a while and this is a great solution.

Finally, a gallery app that lets me [easily] specify folders that I don't want the app to search for media! I'm sick of trying replacements for QuickPic (which I've used for a decade or more and which Android 14 and lame 3rd party programming has pretty much killed) and seeing document media mixed in among my actual photos. Google Photos, the supposed leader in Android photo management, continues to be abysmally deficient in basic features, including folder suppression. Bravo, A+ Gallery!

I have enjoyed A+ Gallery for a very long time. Everytime I get a new phone I continue with this A+ Gallery - Photos and Videos. I've found it to be the best one of all the photo apps out there. Also you can make so many different kinds of Albums and even share your pictures to friends by way of Texting, Email, Messenger, Phone Contacts and on Facebook. I Believe this is why it's named A+ Gallery - Photos and Videos.

I was wrong you can download more than one picture at a time to send.. Since none of these apps come with directions you have to figure it out by yourself....?!? So to be fair the only problem I have with this app is once you typed in your text message... it's almost impossible to go back 2 change something or correct your spelling... It keeps getting stuck...😟 That's why I can't give it 5 stars but I will give it 4 Star ⭐

Easily the best gallery app I've tried, and I use it every day. However, it's missing two things that would make it a 5-star app. First, the Secure Vault cannot be put on an SD card for some reason. If I try to move the app folders to my SD card and add pictures to the Vault, it just creates a new Vault on the internal storage and ignores the SD card. Second, nested albums (including in the Vault) would be extremely convenient for organization.

(8/1/17) It's better than I thought. At first I was annoyed with the ads but it's actually really cheap to upgrades and remove those annoying ads. Perfect. EDIT (12/19/24) I've been using this app for years and it's been good. But recently I'm unable to move some photos to other folders even after trying it dozens of times. Some photos got damaged too in the process. Please fix this. I really liked this app and do not wish for it to go downhill this bad.

I have been using this app since 10 years. It was good, but, I have lost all my photos in the secure vault while changing phones.Despite taking the A plus cloud subscription. i had my backup on. I have tried uninstalling and installing the app. I have tried contacting them through mail. but, still got no response from the team. So, disappointing.

I use the free version and like it a lot. Would have given the app 5 stars, but some of the ads with loud music is really annoying. Sometimes I am at a quiet place, like a library, this loud music suddenly comes up. It is shockingly rude. I understand free apps usually come with ads, but I just wish the the developer can consider using silent ads only. That will make the user experience a lot better.

Don't buy! Sync only works with dropbox, nothing else! =(. The main reason for getting the app was to be able to sync online photos with my phone like Amazon photos. It is also advertised that it would work. However it's just not possible. The only options I have are dropbox and tha a+ cloud. I even bought the full version in hopes of getting the features this way. But to no avail. I also contacted them via mail but no reply. As nice as this app may be I am deeply unsatisfied!

My recent comment: No feedback from the developer. App is getting worst, as it is not allowing even multiple photos selection to do copy/paste!!!! Worst. My earlier comment 2018: Wonderful photo gallery App. Does most of your gallery jobs. Batch compressing the photos in this App itself would be a great advantage. Besides, would love it if I can tag a photo with appropriate comment for ease of search, thus not requiring re naming of photos!
