Today I actually drove to ShopRite due to this app. I had to go pick up a few things and opened the Acme app to see 400 deals I have to clip. This virtual coupon clipping has got to go - it's a flawed idea. It's not cute, it's not a game - it's a hassle, and it really makes me dread shopping at Acme. I know I don't HAVE to clip anything but it's really annoying knowing that you charge me extra because I didn't tap a button. See you at Lidl and ShopRite!

The app is effective if you have already placed an order and want to be in contact during the shopping or delivery. It is completely useless for actually shopping, it's slow. search sometimes just doesn't work at all or returns weird results (like avocado when searching for half and half). It's not even worth trying to shop with it. Instead of any kind of useful update, there's now a completely unnecessary 'AI' search and no way to turn the hideous thing off.

All of the sudden, every time I try scrolling through the items in my shopping cart, it keeps deleting items when I touch the screen to scroll even though I'm not touching anywhere near the Remove button. if it's going to be this sensitive, there needs to be a popup or something that makes you tap a second time or offer an Undo option. I just removed 5 or 6 items off my list and it went so fast, I am not even sure what the items were so I've got to try and remember or risk missing items

search mot working. it worked fine til about a month ago. you can search for an item and click on it in the list but then nothing. the screen is blank. please fix this! The app is going the way of Acme itself. it used to be great but now I find less reasons to shop there. always put of stuff and carry less and less of the items I want

It's a great place to keep track of your Points, REWARDS, Coupons Tailored Just For You, the savings are great! The app even makes it so you can have you points come off at the end of each order, if you're the kind of person who forgets to get your free items before they expire (so this way, you're Still getting your discounts). Plus there's so much more on the app, I still haven't got to use all the cool things on it yet.

App doesn't work. Despite updating, it won't let me select my local store either by zip code or by allowing location to be turned on. It always says "having trouble completing your request". So I can't proceed further. Or if I get to the home page, it glitches and sends me right back to the "select a store" page. Completely pointless app. My brother actually works there and he confirms the numerous complaints by customers about the app and it's frequent lack of reliability. So it's not just me.

I hate the latest update. It has made shopping online more difficult. I can no longer click on a category to see or find a product I need. Now all it shows are the products I've purchased in the past in that category. I'm thinking of canceling my FreshPass when it comes up for my annual renewal. Your app was already not very user friendly before, but this has made it so much worse. Good thing I have my Walmart + membership and Instacart to order from other supermarkets.

frequently does not work. often I cannot load coupons or view my list while I'm in the store, even when connected to the Wi-Fi in the store. I've been having issues for years of multiple versions of this app. when it works, it works. however, I seem to experience an issue at least once every 4 to 6 weeks while I'm trying to shop. update: app is not working at all today. when opened, it asks for zip code. when I put mine in I get an error. Same issue after uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

This was a disaster. I installed the app again after being out of town for a year, and didn't get a discount on anything I clipped! Even worse, the cashier told me to go to customer service and wouldn't bag the groceries! Isn't Acme supposed to be full-service, as opposed to Aldi? I ended up getting some discounts. The lady in customer service was very nice, but I couldn't keep track of everything that's still on the app. I feel cheated.

The app used to work great. I mostly use it for loading coupons and the like. However, for the past few months now, the app has trouble with letting me sign in. Whether trying by phone number or email, it immediately gives a "We're sorry" technical error saying to try again later. I keep the app and my device updated and have tried multiple reinstalls. Still, I've only been able to get the app to sign in without error about 4 times all year so far. Can't check in for orders. Please fix.

You have to scan everything you buy in the checkout line to see if there are any deals. If it would just automatically apply deals based on your loyalty card or phone number, it'd be great. I suppose it is designed this way so you don't get all the deals that may be out there. They added a terribly inconvenient and unnecessary step hoping more people won't get the best deals. It could have been automated and awesome, instead it's tedious and annoying.

The "rewards" and "discounts" are good, actually great for 3⭐, but it's way too time consuming, with too many steps, and it's a real pain in the pork"butt" to use! All products you want, prior to shopping, go on "the list" and then you have to ❎ each item to go into the 'basket" before going to the register and entering your # in! (Too many steps) Most of the time I need a manager at check-out because it's not working! You can SCAN items as you shop but don't forget to ❎ & 🛒 b4 checking out!!!!

frustrating & useless! I spent 20 mins going thru the weekly ad & added items to my list, but when I viewed it there was just a general description. for example, scotties tissues are 5 for $5, but on the list it just says "scotties tissues". I have to click on it then click on another button to get to see the deal. There's no way to print or email the list to yourself. I don't want to use my phone when shopping, it kills the battery. what's the point of this app if I still have to write it down!

The points are earned and shouldn't expire. I think its time I start shopping at food town. Their points do not expire and you get a gift card when you redeem them. You can spend the gift card whenever you want. Plus acmes prices are higher than any other supermarket in the area. I shop there because its not crowded, and you can shop comfortably. I've also had issues redeeming their online coupon for shopping on the app. They didnt help me when I contacted them so I dont use the shop on the go

I used to like the app. They updated a few months ago and it stopped working as well...several glitches. Then it was updated again. Now it doesn't have the free items under coupons so I have to go to the service desk, it doesn't update other store coupons regularly, items are not listed or are listed in the wrong category. When I manage to make a list, I have to find the item in my list and put it in the correct category myself. If I want multiple of an item, I also have to switch to my list and

I like having access to the weekly ad. Regularly see products in the ad listed w/ a "just for U" digital coupon available, for which there is no corresponding coupon. (yes, I know how to search for them). App also freezes often. Update: this is the most aggressively bad app i still actually use. It gets worse not better with every update. Now i can no longer add stuff to a list unless it's in the ad. The best it's good for is to give me a quick sense of what's on sale b4 i pick up a paper flyer

The app is not user friendly. When trying to search, the filters don't work (for example exciting out of stock items or limiting by brand). If an item is viewed and you go back to the search, the filters and sitting applied are reset to the default. It is useful for coupons but that's about it. Would also be nice to have online deli ordering.

When it works it works. Unfortunately I often have problems with the drive up and go. Learning how to use the system with their coupons can be a learning curve when setting substitutions and when it gets it wrong or there is an issue, it is tough to get resolved. I try to troubleshoot so I have a seamless checkout process, but too often there are issues, and getting those issues resolved takes even more time or even return trips.

Flaw: I attempted to "unclip" a coupon, but could not find an effective way to do so. Even when I went to "my list" and selected the item by clicking the bubble icon next to it, it just disappears off of "my list," but does not actually remove it when purchasing items. Also, Would also be helpful to still be able to view past orders. Experience: My total asked for a set amount of money (i.e. $0.55), but after paying the amount, it said that I owed additional money again due to a coupon.

Terrible app! They need to get rid of the "move to list" action. You think you are putting it in your cart but instead you are removing the thing you want from a list and then you have to start over with that item again. There should only be 2 stages - in cart or just a list of previously purchased items. The extra stages are confusing and my last order I received double the quantity of some of the items I selected only one of. Wastes time. Not at all intuitive.
