The app freezes you can't see what you are typing anymore. This is because they have programmed it with adverts when using it at the cost of the user to do simple things . Greedy people. There are many options out there keep fooling yourselves. Also, the app doesn't automatically update age. I found out people have over 5 to 7 years age difference from their current age from when accounts got created. Always ask people their current age or you would be fooled by the app.

This app has deteriorated over the past year and has become utterly useless! Somehow messages can't be received reliably - you get a notification but they don't show up in the chat. It no longer displays nearby users when you open the app, nor is it default for searches. I've experienced glitches with messages being marked as read when I haven't opened them. The website seems to be working well. I'm definitely uninstalling this app.

Your app has never improved with logging on, since the day I began using it several years ago. It either thinks to long then says it "Network error, please try again." But it's not my network. Also, it doesn't work with 3/4g or hotspots. I don't understand the reasoning of not fixing these issues. It makes it very difficult to like the app as well as to give it 2 stars. 2 is for the days of the week it does work for me, so I figured 2 stars is sufficient.

Ads and more ads. Plenty of guys on there which is nice but the ad push which wasn't too bad before, is terrible now, one right after you open it, then between profiles clicks and searches, some ads locked and have LOUD AUDIO, on a timer and won't let you x out of them. So you try to take a quick look at work only to alert everyone in the office because of a loud ad you can't close, had really declined over time.

This app is a joke. All words that are possibly "offensive" are redacted from profiles. 90% of the messages are from bots/spammers. Even with a paid subscription you still get ads. Half the time messages won't send and you have to force stop and restart the app. Had to install and reinstall once, then it wouldn't recognize my subscription. I tried to restart the subscription but it gave an error that I already had a paid subscription even though the paid features weren't available to me.

This is the original app of its kind and I don't think it's changed at all since it's inception. I like that they have a web version that removes some of the restrictions imposed by Google. What I don't like is the layout. Having to advance page by page instead of having a smooth experience. I get that it's about ad impressions but seriously, you spam my mailbox with four or five at a time. And then you remove my actual messages after ten days unless I pay. lol. A4A gets a "c-" at best.

This app is GARBAGE! There have been countless times whereby someone sent me a message and the message did not show up in my chat box! The only reason I know a message was there is because I could see that a message was typed. But when I click on the actual message to read the message, nothing is there! Just today, someone sent me a picture and that, too, did not show up. I have sent them multiple emails about those problems and all of the catfishing on the site. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. NO RESPONSE

I read the horror story reviews and thought, "C'mon it can't be that bad!" I was wrong. Not but 10 minutes ago I signed up and created an account and as I was filling out the bio section, I immediately got bombarded with pop ups that were so aggressive, it wouldn't let me finish typing. Than it timed me out and I could not access my account even with my user ID and password. Wow, No thanks. I'll stick to the bar scene since apps like these make me want to have a drink. Lol!

Simply a cool app! The design and layout are easy to navigate, quick response, even for the basic free part. Thumbs up for me 👍,with a 🙂. For those that complain about the ads... remember, if you are using the free part of the site, you can't expect a luxury ride for free, also, ads help pay to keep the site running, as do the paying member's.

The app doesn't show everything the online account shows. And it doesn't update fast enough when you log in and look at or respond to message. Sometimes the messages you sent to respond to messages doesn't go through or just disappears. And you can't change from closest profiles to the most recent log in profiles. It's kinda annoying cause you only see the same people near you and have to scroll thru to see other profiles

I open up 6 ads but yet you cannot fix the issues with the location or stop the spam accounts and the fake profiles the scammers, the company that purchased the app provide any kind of actual benefits claiming this is a dating site but it's more like a freaked out drug den for prostitution and assault. It's already hard enough meeting men of substance in the real world but to be falsely lied to about the benefits of this app and others like it is annoying. stop asking me to review this app.

A personal favorite 😍 It's essential to make real connections in one's own life . That's what you can accomplish with the app an online relationship for our busy life but you also have the ability for real life connection and yeah that's essential for everyone .

I can't even sign up. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. says it's registering new user but just spins forever.

had the app for a few weeks. hardly ever get any matches, and when i do its 90% of the time a scammer/bot account. app sends notifications titled "someone messaged you!" when in reality its just the apps customer support messaging you, advertising for erectile dysfunction pills. The app also has a glitch, whenever you click on a chat, then press the back arrow to go back, the app closes and you must restart it for it to work again. overall very unsafe.

I have 4 Stars because it's easy ,fun ,simple and not weighted down by to many adds and pay walls . my biggest issue is that I don't get realtime notifications, I get an email the next day ( it hasn't always been this way ) but it's not so useful without notifications.

it is too confusing it is so difficult to communicate with other members I have a lot of messages that I cannot access to. it's very confusing it's not user friendly .. I've been a member for about a month-and-a-half now I have not read a single message I have not seen a message online really a bad dating site, I get emails but I can't access the messages it's hard to subscribe do your organization if you guys want let me try it I look at it as a waste of money a waste of time, NO GOOD.

This app has never really worked properly, most profiles that say they are a few miles away, are actually from different Countries, there GPS/ Nearby feature doesn't work, it's a shame because the app has potential, I usually use the Website, but even there the Nearby feature is not accurate, Webmaster should be fired asap.

1/5. One star because despite blocking notifications, the app will not cease annoying pop ups, and often will try to stay open in the background, after I've closed it. The ads are so off putting and intrusive I force stop the app almost every time after I've used it.

it has really changed over the years i was on it for maybeb4 yrs straight and back when it wasnt a good app i just recently joined again after 4 yrs off and theb changes are incredible easy to navigate no more glitchess set up is alot better as a whole A4A has done a complete360 in the right direction looks like ill be sticking around so ill see you guys in there best wishes. peterpiper

What drove me away from this app...that works great by the way... is all the bots. bots that send smiles and then never respond to any messages. SO. MANY! For this reason, I have stopped using this app.
