This app isn't just a browser extension like Adblock+ for PCs is. It's a browser all of its own. It looks and acts just like Chrome, so you don't have to be tech savvy or deal with change in order to use it. All that needs to be done is to download it, and watch a bunch of digital clutter disappear. Gone are the days where my battery drains while I'm cooking and reading an online recipe. Things load faster. This is so nice. I wish I'd downloaded this years ago.

Has worked well for years, but suddenly it's showing the option of "AI Mode" whenever I open a new tab. Not sure if it's a Chromium thing or something they themselves did, but I'd like it out of my sight please. If there's an option to permanently remove it (or better yet, if it's removed from the app completely), I'll rate higher. The AI bubble cannot pop soon enough......

sometimes I do still get ads with YouTube (I have aura, but vpn isn't on most of the time) but it's a noticable difference, occasionally if you use it a lot with that it'll stop letting you scroll down in the feed, n I really wanted a sleep timer but this doesn't have it so I've been playing videos near the end of a playlist for sleeping. also you should adjust your screen timeout w this because it goes off in the middle of videos sometimes as opposed to the YT app, but I'd say it's worth it

While it did block out most ads, I would still keep getting them. I like watching videos on my browser because you can turn your screen off and still play the media. But this app just keeps crashing and crashing (on a new phone btw, so definitely not on my end) and it's stopped being worth it. I'd rather listen to ads than have to keep reopening the app and pulling it back up and finding where I was over and over.

I loved this app for a good while. Once I got a more current device it seems to have all sorts of bugs and crashes. Sometimes I can't even open it at all after closing it. Support claimed, "they can't replicate the issue". I'm still not saying it's bad, but I think each user's experience now really depends on what device you have and how compatible it is. (To be clear, I still use this app on wifi on previous devices without any wireless provider whatsoever and it still works flawlessly).

At first it seemed to work and block ads, even on YouTube. Then last week or the week before we noticed it started playing a Walmart ad at the beginning, but then the rest of the video was ad free. We we just watching some videos and it now plays ads between every video and you don't even have the option to skip. Now we are wondering if it got sensitive log in information from us. Either way, it's not working and we are deleting the app.

I've been using Adblock for over a year, maybe two or more? It's my default browser. I love the customization and the option to allow non-intrusive ads to support content creators, while defaulting to ad blocking on all other web sites. With one click you can temporarily pause ad blocking or resume. You can set site exceptions. My only complaint is that setting your default search engine is restrained to a (small) preset selection. I would like to see an option to add our own choices. Peace. 💚

I like to read and visit sites with tons of advertisements on the sides. Not always the type you want to see or accidentally click on while scrolling. This browser gets rid of that problem! Occasional pop-ups get through, but it blocks most things, way more than other browsers I tried. Love it! Also, I have WAAAY too many tabs open and it still works great. 💪

Fantastic!! I love(facetiously) how sites want to charge for an ad free version. I would never pay to access a website without ads. This app enables me to enjoy reading online without constant pop-ups and other irritating ad features. It pretty much blocks EVERYTHING!! It is frustrating that sites can block your access while using ad-blocker, but there are plenty of other sites to use in their place when it happens.

I'm not saying that the app is perfect, but just the fact that this browser blocks all the ads on places like YouTube these days makes me feel obligated to give this app 5 stars!!! so many places have pushed so many ads, without caring or not if it's disruptive to the content that they're advertising in, that if I do end up ever being forced to watch an advertisement on anything these days I just make a mental note never to buy that product being advertised and I'm not alone in that decision.

I've been using adblock browser for years and I was quite happy with it. The new version 2 seemed, oddly, to not be blocking any ads, but a couple days later the ads are gone again. So I guess all's well. The new version certainly seems to be faster and more responsive than the old one, so that's nice. But I'm not too happy about the note that Google might get my personal info from version 2. That gives me some pause.

It's good at blocking ads on youtube, but it has some problems. First off, you can't view community posts on the mobile version. You have to go to the desktop mode in order to view them. The big problem however is that on some videos the video skips ahead after a while but the audio stays intact. This makes youtube videos pretty darn unwatchable. I would be forced to refresh or even exit out of the video but even that doesn't work sometimes. Overall a pretty good app and works with live streams.

I've long been a fan of the Adblock Plus desktop plugin and use it on all of the browsers on my laptop. So, when I saw this new Adblock Browser for Android on the Play Store - created by the same developers who created the desktop plugin - I became very excited and installed it on my phone immediately. Unfortunately, just a short time later I uninstalled it. The problem: This browser currently has no provision for importing bookmarks from other browsers, like Chrome and Edge. Since I have a very extensive collection of bookmarks that I use regularly, on both Chrome and Edge, this browser is, again unfortunately, useless to me, and the lack of a bookmark import function is what has caused my low rating. If the developers do add a feature to allow the importing of bookmarks from other browsers, I will then install this app on my phone once again, because, aside from this shortcoming (which is a major one) the browser functions very well.

Great... when it works.. Half the time it works just fine. Blocks the ads you don't want to see. The other half of the time it forget that it's supposed to block ads, so that ALL of them show up. Crashes when you try to open it, or just freezes and won't open at all. The only solution I've found to the freezing/freaking problems is to uninstall it, then redownload it. I've done this enough, I'm sick of it. Going to find a browser that works.

I found this Browser when I was looking for a better one than the one I had. So far it is deffinately an improvement. Loads everything efficiently and I think faster. Does keep a tally of adds blocked, reminds me when I'm still in incognito mode. It works well enough for me to abandon my other browsers which has an added benefit of streamlining my browsing. A good app.

There was a recent update to allow acceptable ads. Supposedly with the ability to switch that on and off. But it still allows ads no matter what the settings are now. And if you change these settings mid stream, it starts the video at the beginning. So then you skip forward to the point where you were at and bingo, another ad. So, ya switch it again and zip, back to the beginning. Never ending cycle and now doesn't have the ability to block all ads like it once did. Wish i could revert it back

While slow, it was a fine browser to use for blocking ads before the major update. However, it is now slower, clunkier, and freezes more often than the previous version. Also, I really hate the new layout. This update was complete unnecessary in my opinion. I am going to either roll back to a previous version or just switch to a different browser altogether.

I believe this app is abandoned. Since I last downloaded it, the original Firefox had multiple updates, but this app hasn't been updated for 1.5 years. I have been experiencing multiple issues with the app. It still works good enough, but for how long? I loved this app, because it's hard finding extensions for the Firefox app, and the ad blocker continues to work perfectly. However, I am forced to find an alternative.

the app used to be perfect, but now it doesn't block all the ads. I've used this to read manga from "perfectly legal and legitimate websites" and for a long time this app was great at hiding these "H-anime" styls ads and preventing pop-ups. but now I am starting to see a few ads slip by, and getting popups when I click on a next page or whatever.

This app used to work great at loading sites without ads (albeit slowly), but recently I've noticed that all the sites I try to open with adblock browser return an error to the likes of "can't communicate with server" or some such nonsense. I don't know what happened, but a browser that won't load websites at all is useless to me. I'll keep trying for a bit longer before I give up and uninstall...
