Well, it definitely does what it says it will do. I got tired of getting bombarded with ads browsing Chrome trying to look up tutorials for video games, but I'd get pop up ads and banner ads that made for a bad mobile browsing experience. Was worried I'd need to spend money to achieve this, but free version worked just fine. If I really wanted to watch YouTube ad free, I can do that on my PC.

I bought adguard a couple of years ago. Bought it as a lifetime purchase. after 2 years it stopped working as it was supposed to do, now all the ads are on the screen as before, either on the computer desk or on the smartphone and it's annoying. Now they demand that I subscribe to the premium program, which is essentially the same amount as for the lifetime program. I see no reason to continue to subscribe with them, because in a year or two they will again stop working properly.

I turned on the app and went to play games. I thought, "Oh, it's working!" And then after a minute or 2, the adds in the background started popping up AGAIN. I fell for this games trick. At least you can avoid adds for a minute every time you firstly turn on the app, shut down your phone, or reset your phone. I would like to forget adds exist. I'm getting another add blocking app that actually works.

I came across adguard YEARS ago before they were on mobile. I was exhausted with all the adds in the world. It was the best discovery I ever made, I have it on my computer, obviously, but have added it to my phone as well and it's so unobtrusive yet the absolute best for security and add blocking. Don't let the name fool you, it's multifunctional. Can't give enough praise and recommendations!!!

The app used to work great and it does still seem to block most basic ads but it seems like it needs an update (which seems like hasn't happened in a LONG time). The app doesn't always block ads on videos anymore and when it does, it just leaves a black screen for the length of the video, then once the waiting period of the ad is over a skip button shows up. What's the point in that? The visual is being blocked but not the ad itself? What?

Awful experience. Ton of sites just don't function at all with this enabled. Oftentimes, it makes the webpages go blank. The only solution is disabling the extension on the Samsung Internet browser and refreshing the page. The worst part is the fact that many news sites detect it and force you to disable. On other occasions, ads are still displayed on numerous sites. I just can't compare this to flagship adblockers on desktops such as uBlock Origin. Ad filtering is really bad on this one.

Great app, blocks ads flawlessly, but not letting me use the service on all my three devices, when I try setting it up in my third device it appears that it's on my devices in the licenses page, but doesn't allow me to switch it on. It's unfortunate that I am not getting what was promised when I paid for the lifetime version of the app. If this gets fixed I will update the review to 5 stars.

I loved adguard but I'm VERY disappointed in their customer service. I won't be renewing. I bought this product with the understanding I could use it on 3 devices. However it turns out I can only use it on 3 computers. So they expect me to pay for 3 computers and 3 phones when its advertised as 3 DEVICES. There is no customer service phone number and I've written them 3 times through their "support" email. What a joke and a waste of money. Just use the free version don't waste your money.

Android devices be wary! If you're not using Samsung internet it will make you choose and download a third-party browser developed in Russia or it will not work. I'm not trying to imply anything, but it will not allow you passed the second screen in the app setup if you don't select one of these two. Mozilla supports an extension of this app but the app doesn't not support that browser. I wanted to use this as a more comprehensive ad blocker as advertised. Needs to add more support.

More and more often it just blocks entire websites and breaks my browsing experience from apps like Twitter if I click a link to a well established news source or other well known websites. Things that shouldn't get blocked do, while adds make it through on other pages. Addguard used to work well for me. I even paid for a lifetime sub (which no longer works also; saying my key is not valid ☹️). I really liked this product at one time and had nothing but good to say about it.

When you run the app, setup everything you want enabled, and then restart your phone; you'll get a solid experience when you start to notice that your phones battery can last a whole day on a single charge while running Adguard in the background 24/7. This means it's incredibly lightweight & doesn't boggle down the performance of your phone with no compensation for either & it does a very good job of preventing ads. Especially in games. Though if you have this on, you'll block video ads, etc.

Getting worse and worse. Used to love this app. Used to work amazingly. Then easy on/off toggle widget disappeared. Now the more difficult extra steps on/off wiget disappeared. Had to reinstall... now can't even find on/off anywhere. I used to have to turn off blocker occasionally when it was blocking sites I wanted to go to. Then it was very frequently needed to turn off due to blocking way too many sites. Now can't find where or how to turn on and off.

This app is ok if it's free of charge. Not worth to pay for subscription. It will block entire internet connection sometime. But sometime it works totally fine. I've spent so much time to set it up; it doesn't work properly unless I turn it off completely. So frustrated for this app.

AdGuard is a must-have app for all Android users. It blocks those pesky ads that slow down your phone and helps you browse the web faster, more securely, and with fewer interruptions. The app is quick, efficient, and runs in the background without taking up too much of my battery life or consuming additional data. The user interface makes it easy to manage settings and customize different filters so you can tailor AdGuard to fit your needs perfectly! Highly recommend this app!!

Of all the content blockers I've tried for Samsung Internet , this one is the best IMO. Lots of options to customize filters and rules. (I added the entire easylist filter myself in "user rules.") This app blocks ads and trackers MUCH better than ANY other content blocker add-on I've tried. **If it's not working, you can't be using it correctly! It ONLY works with Samsung Internet browser. You CAN import more blocking rules. Read the directions before you complain & post negative reviews.**

Update: lowered to 1 star. It usually works, but support is awful. I have a paid version but it still takes weeks for each reponse. I first emailed them in July, 2024. Every time they reply, it is just the next step in the process. The last time it took them 5 weeks to reply to my email. Before that it took 3 weeks. Last time they asked me to repeat the same thing they already asked me to do, and it's been 4 weeks without a reply again. If it works, great. If it doesn't, find something else.

I don't recommend. I downloaded because I thought it was going to stop YouTube ads from popping up every 2 minutes. I tried watching a YouTube video idk how many times, there was literally NOTHING but ads. I didn't get to watch a video once. Ads were what I kept seeing. There's much less ads on the YouTube app than there was with Adguard. I gave up on trying to watch YouTube videos with this app. It wouldn't play the video, it played ad after ad after ad after ad after ad until I just gave up.

I sought help in using this and every email was about how adguard can't help--even after purchase. I was looking to use a simple product but you have to purchase the VPN and possibly another app to use in conjunction with this one. So, you're tripling your cost and if you don't use their VPN, they want access to your root, but won't do anything because of liability. The app is pretty much designed to take as much money as they can charge with no actual help unless you pay for additional services

So far, it's good. It blocks many of the annoying youtube video ads that plague the browsing experience. I hope this remains in the base version and that it will not turn into a feature that gets locked behind a paywall. Really, depending on your budget you may pay for the premium version which will definitely block more annoying video ads.

I love this app. Lately I have noticed it no longer consistently blocks pop-up ads in certain apps. I have opted in with every feature, but the pop ups keep happening (when a year ago, they wouldn't be there). Also? I love using the "share the video to AdGuard" to block ads, but could you make the video player capable of floating? So I can use other apps or browse the Internet while having the video playing in a floating small screen? I can do this with YouTube, hoping I can do it with yours.
