App takes forever to open either from clicking on the app directly or from a Google search and clicking on the part. I can't stand using Advance Auto Parts due to that. Follow up to reply. It's happened on all phones I've had over the last few years, phone service is not the issue weather wifi or network. It happens all the time and none of my other apps have the issue. My friends have the same slow opening on their phones also.

The store is great. Their app not so much. If I don't sign out of my profile every single time that I use the app the next time I open it it just says ugh cuz this is frustrating. We're experiencing problems on our end. I then have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to be able to use it. It's been this way for 2 years now. I've called to report it still 2 years later. Still the same problem every single time

This is a great app. Except for the fact that every time I hit the recent apps button and select another app, it goes back to Advance. Basically saying that I have to stay on Advance. So in order to go back to what I was on, I have to hit the home button, then go where I was gonna go. I wish they would get this fixed, because it's been happening for a while now, and I'm over having to remember to do it a different way just for one app Edit 2/26/26: STILL HAPPENING! GET IT FIXED!!!

2/11/26 still issues. Out of all the apps on my phone, this is the only one that gives mebissies when trying to use. Gets hung up and freezes. Makes me wonder what kind of programming is behind all this when other store apps and even bank apps never have this issue. The store itself is great, the app, not so much. It freezes 90% of the time when I open it up. Frustrating. So now I resort to web browser. Don't ask me to call you and troubleshoot. Galaxy S10+, no issues with any other app.

App's functionality is horrible. Won't let me sign in. Keeps forcing to enter bundle items even though i'm not looking for bundle items. Website is no better. had to enter my password in three times before it accepted it. Then it keeps a frame of my profile and unable to see the rest of the website. when I scroll to the website, it keeps prompting me for bundles. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting the same.

Never very helpful being register. You can tell they don't really enjoy working there and a couple times I've went there 20 minutes before closing time that is posted and they're closed. I see someone behind desk but the doors locked and they hear you try and come in but they don't look up. Only give a 3 star because they usually have the parts I need but I always check elsewhere as Advanced is always my last choice.

the app used to be absolutely amazing till about 6 months ago. now it takes me about 20 minutes just to place an order. when I open the app, it just sits with the spinning circles for literally 5 minutes before the app loads, then its about 5 minutes for everything I try to look up to buy. its progressively getting worse and worse. please fix this, I spend tons of money with you guys and dont want to go anywhere else. FIX THE APP, PLEASE! ITS THE ONLY APP ON MY PHONE THAT IS SLOW

This app is stupid! Before, it wouldn't open— now it would not let me check out my order even when using the saved payment method. I even tried re-adding a debit card and it still didn't work. I made it to the store without being able to place the order in advance, through the app. What a waste of time. You should fire all of your developers!

I spent real money on this app that went through the website. I picked up my order from the store. When I returned the parts they graciously decided to turn my real money into a gift card for Advance Auto parts. Once again with real money. When I called and the "help" desk they informed me all they could do was issue a paper check that they could mail. Joshua the call center supervisor was completely unhelpful. I won't purchase anything from advance auto again.

App used to work ok but for the past six months or so is extremely slow to open the app if it opens at all. It makes no difference if I try with cellular service or with home internet. I even tried deleting and reinstalling it. App is basically useless at this point Update, it's been a few months now including an update that was supposed to address the issue and nothing has changed. App takes forever to open if it opens at all and it has nothing to do with my internet or cellular connection.

the app was easy to use. their business model with the app is extremely horrible though. they will let you purchase a non-returnable item and not tell you that its non-returnable until after you find what you really need at another store for a fraction of the price and you try to return it (in factory sealed packaging) to save over $130 in parts thats not needed. lifelong advance auto customer lost

Frustrating. I literally install the app to combine speed perks, then uninstall it. If you follow a link, app automatically opens and hangs for 10 seconds. Come on guys. Great store, app is slow. Additionally, your Google search results will display a searched part, let's say a starter. Returned result is usually with a low price. When link is clicked, takes you to a completely different part, with an exorbitantly higher price. Feels Deceptive.

overall, it is a good app to check for parts and order. I would like to be able to add more vehicles to my garage, access manuals / diagrams. Also, speed perks have become more difficult to acquire in my opinion. Still, not many bugs on this & mostly accurate on the online inventory of parts (if the app says "in stock" more times than not, it will be at the store)

I like being able to price check parts easily. I have ordered for in-store pick up also. I have not had delivered from them though as if I'm going to wait for delivery, there's cheaper options online. Surprisingly, Amazon is proving to be a good option! I rarely buy from Amazon or online though. I prefer to buy in-store to help keep the stores & local jobs open! Thank you for not closing my 2 local locations.

As others have stated, the app is very slow; about ten seconds for anything to load. But it's gotten worse than that. Many buttons don't work anymore: edit store, edit payments, etc. Right this minute I'm trying to order two parts for pickup. Both are available at a nearby store but I am unable to change the pickup location of one part at my main store, which doesn't have the other in stock. So if I want to use the app (and use an online discount code) I have to go to both locations.

I can usually find good deals on the parts I need. promo codes work most of the time, but in the fine print usually don't apply to the parts I need. I stand corrected, as an elite member, which I am, I can apply more than 1 speed perk reward/order. I was not aware there was a dash board to control that in the app. This is a much better experience than buying from the "zone".

Pretty good, with a few annoyances. Mainly you have to login every single time (and you have to go out of your way to do it), and it doesn't store credit cards or hint to android to use a saved card--so every purchase you have to enter it again. Outside of that it's pretty good--search is painfully slow but that's the same on the website, so I wouldn't fault the app.

I love the Speed Perks rewards!!! They have saved me so much money since I signed up and registered in the app. The coupons are very helpful and have saved me a great deal of money as well. The garage feature makes it easy to switch between multiple vehicles. If you service your own cars, you cannot, not save money shopping whit Advance!!

Need better way to change stores when your preferred store is out of stock. I had to reselect the items and indicate that I wanted to pick it up at a different location. then I had to go back into my shopping cart and remove the items that were in there that were still pointing to the store that had them out of stock. you're very cumbersome and can be dangerous way of doing this. you could accidentally order more items than you intended. Advanced Auto needs to take a look at the app and fix it.

This app runs so slow to the point it is so frustrating to use. It's actually easier to just call the store and that way you can also confirm the store has the part since the app has been inaccurate many of the times I've actually had the patience to use it. Update: So they continue to make excuses and blame the phone/network/user for their failure. When ALL other apps and services work and NUMEROUS others have reported the same issue, you would think they would get a clue.
