I used to love shopping via their app, but lately it won't even load the home screen. I'll hit refresh, switch to mobile data, switch back to wifi, refresh the app, clear my cache, ect. and it still gives an error message saying "Sorry, we're having network issues. Please try again in a few minutes. " Last week I got it to work after many refreshes and even placed an order on it. Today, I couldn't get through, updated the app, and still nothing. Just the same error message. Please fix your app!!

I get very frustrated using the app because it takes so long to load anything on it. if you "heart" something it takes around 20 seconds to load and the same with switching screens etc.Also, asks for my log in information every single time. I check the box to remain logged in but it still asks me. Rewards and prices are clear, everything is organized well.

Great selection. Wonderful ease with the way the app was setup to view the style and see the product, the various colors and selections. the sizes available and stores that had products available for pick up or you could have the product shipped to your home. It is one of the better built clothing apps I have used. I love American Eagle jeans. Now, that I have used their app, I will continue to use it going forward and highly recommend it to my friends!!

Horrible app- truly cannot believe the difficulty I had simply placing an order. I got a couple gift cards for Christmas and it was more of a chore to use them than it was worth. had to log in and out several times hours apart before it finally worked- then after giving up on getting it delivered because it simply won't work but for some reason in store pick up will... it asks me to rate the dang app! I would give it 0 stars if I could. I will never spend my own money here.

I love the items American Eagle and Aerie have to offer, but the app is a pain to use. It is constantly glitchy, taking a long time to load, and the checkout process is horrendous. You have to enter your contact information multiple times while experiencing the app refreshing and kicking you out of the checkout process or the app itself. For such a major retailer, I expect the app to be more user-friendly and have a swift checkout experience. I am disappointed.

I’m giving this website one star because the experience has been extremely frustrating. The pages keep jumping and reloading, making it almost impossible to browse or select anything. It’s very disappointing and feels like a constant struggle just to shop. I hope the technical issues will be fixed soon, because right now it’s a complete nightmare to use.

I love American Eagle jeans! They fit me like a glove, but I haven't ordered anything for the longest time. I've used this app for years without issues, but for (I don't even know how long.) I have been running into the the same frustrating problems as others. The app won't load. The logo pops up, and then nothing happens. Even after clearing the cache, restarting my phone, and uninstalling + reinstalling - NOTHING WORKS! Get new tech people for crying out loud!

Please fix the 3 dots in the app next to the item when they're in the shopping cart. It doesn't matter how many times I press the dots directly, it just loads the item instead of populating the options. It's insanely annoying that I have to press it 10 times for it to finally do what's intended and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

This app is pretty good for viewing items and adding things to your favorites. The trouble starts when you go to purchase and have to continue to go to the previous page to get the purchase page to load. If you want to change your shipping address, well, you're better off going to the store or you've got great parience. There's nothing too crazy outside of the normal click and purchase but you may have to click three or four times... To purchase lol.

General experience feels like a browser in early development. 1) A number of times at checkout, the 'State' drop-down list was blank / blank dots. Another time, it requires me to type in the state. 2) Even though all fields were filled out, the checkout button was greyed out. Had to back out and go back in a couple times. 3) For the longest while, (I guess) the I.T. team does NOT allow devices with VPN on it. This makes me suspect that it collects other personal data besides address and cards.

App is so buggy. Constantly logs me out on the rare occasion it does work. Otherwise, just constant "we are having network problems" messages until I uninstall and reinstall the app. Back almost a year later. Deleting and redownloading the app again. 7/2/24: uninstalling and redownloading the app again because it never works for longer than a couple weeks. Is this on purpose so you have better download stats??? Please fix it or I won't redownload it again.

A year or two ago, this app worked great. Now there are frequent glitches and error messages, you have to log in frequently, login information is no longer stored. When clicking on an image, the screen often goes blank. It's tiresome work each time I have to reinstall the app to get it to work properly for only a short time. It's a shame. I used to be a devoted AE girl, but due to disruptions with the app, I have started shopping elsewhere. Please fix the app!

The app was working super well before, but now it's glitching constantly. Half the time it won't even open and will say there's an error and then nothing loads. I tried to check out the other day and the app was just flashing and glitching and wouldn't let me do anything, I had to use the website on my browser to check out. It seems to have other issues too, but these are the main ones I'm having.

Since the last update, this app crashes all the time and doesn't load properly! Even when you click keep me logged in, it still logs you out, and you have to resign in each time you use the app. Also, it would be nice if they would include to search through item reviews by height and weight like you can on their website online. If they add this and fix the crashing issues, it would be five stars!!

Used to be great. Now it crashes or fails to load almost every time. I swear I've reinstalled like 16x since this started happening ~2 months ago. Not worth the struggle and has prevented me from making clothing purchases. And this is coming from someone who used to order like once a month at least. Choosing to shop elsewhere lately since so many AE deals are app-only.

Horrible, this app is a nightmare. Constantly signed me out, repeatedly cleared my cart mid shopping, made me check out with 2 items I did not want because they didn't show up in my cart until checkout and I couldn't remove the items. I'll just have to return them which is a headache. Tried everything to reset my app. Had to re-add all my items to my cart so many times I should have just given up and shopped somewhere else. Maybe I still will, maybe I'll just return it all. This app sucks.

they required me to use the app for a promo code and free 2 day shipping. i installed the app and entered the promo code [which it accepted] and while I got free economy shipping, there was no option to select 2 day shipping. much easier to order by desktop. disappointed i went thru the trouble of doing on my cell only not to receive the offer promised. suspect they only want you using the app so they can keep sending you push notifications for sales.

Great app, great store, great employees. What would cause me to give five stars instead of four would be if there was clear instruction on how to delete items out of the shopping bag. I'm not sure if the reasoning behind NOT having an easily understood way of deleting an item is perhaps because it is felt that this will increase the amount of a sale. Personally I feel that the opposite is true. When I wanted to delete an item and could not, I became frustrated and almost decided forget it.

I like ordering from the AE/Aerie app. I like that all rewards can easily be seen in one place. The only issue I have is while looking at individual items, review pics from shoppers do not always show up like they do on the webpage. I see the reviews, but would like to see the pics of the items on real people who have purchased it. That's how I decided to buy my last dress... Liked it so much, I bought 3 in different colors.
