Very slow, unreliable app. The GPS does not work properly, it doesn't show all the parking spaces. Does not let me select my added car in my monthly payment plan. Had to force stop the app to even see the monthly parking permit. The payments are beyond expensive aswell. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, if there is any other way for you to park, please do that instead of this app. App version 1.36.1 Android version 16
Untrustworthy enforcement + bad GPS. Got charged €50 even though I parked between their P signs under “free 60 min.” They claim I was outside a “marked area” but their photos don’t show any marked bay lines or boundaries (snow covered). Support keeps repeating “check the signs” instead of proving where the marked area is. The app also has GPS/zone errors: it shows one zone, but selecting it can still lead to a fine for “wrong area.” Errors benefit the company, not users.
Installing the app went smoothly. But when we tried to couple a payment card to our account, all failed (we tried 4 different credit and debit cards - foreign ones; we are not Swedish). Luckily we only needed this app in Trelleborg, so we managed to pay for parking with another app in Trelleborg and all other places we visited during our holidays. This app is a waste of time, shame it is the mandatory app for most parking spaces in Trelleborg.
Constant updates that break permit notifications as well as being able to buy permits. Happens so often that it almost seems intentional....
Automatic camera setting does not turn on; keeps failing to save the setting so I cannot use this app for parking at all in the designated park hall! What a monumental failure for a PARKING app!
This company is running a parking scam. They disable their payment system on the app and then come and impose hefty penalties on those parked at their parking spots. Avoid the app and best use the parking box for booking your parking slot. A little inconvenient, but better safe than sorry.
Registration of credit card is very buggy so if you don't have 20 minutes to spare just to pay the this app isn't for you. At the end, to add insult to injury, there was a popup that informed me that i could have paid with swish instead of card.
The app is a bit slow. It also works poorly on older versions of android (despite claiming to support them). Aimo is sometimes cheaper than other parking options but have rather predatory ticketing practices so be cautious.
First time setup is buggy. After I have added my card (successfully), it then lead to another screen to add a card again which didn't allow me to skip it (nothing happened when pressing button) so had to use the phone's back button. The button to add the veichle (in the "first time setup") didn't to anything (the button got pressed, but nothing happened).
not able to extend the parking period. its a good trick for almost to make more money, since you get charged for the service once again when u have to start a new session instead of extending.
How can I set the app in dark mode? If not available , could you add a dark theme setting? I am visually impaired and cannot see text on a white background. Zooming in or using a bigger font won't solve the issue.
Takes a long time to install and verify your email. It has a lot of pop ups that cover the whole screen and won't let you navigate properly. When I want to type in the registration number to add a new car it flickers and deletes everything again if I'm not quick enough. Even if the first hour is free they still charge a service fee to use the app each time you park. Terrible alternative to Parkster which operated my chosen location before. I'm definitely going to avoid any place that uses aimo.
Very slow, parking places not showing accurately. Had to restart the app a couple of times for the parking place to show. When trying to start parking the price estimate wouldn't load so I can't press start. Sometimes I have to park somewhere else because the app simply won't work. And when it does it can take minutes on end. Most other parking apps work way better. Not sure why you guys aren't investing more in getting yours to work.
Please don't trust this app to do its job. How convenient is it not to allow us to report a bug and to charge them for the issue arising out of it. After multiple attempts to report the bug over calls and emails, this is the reply that I got, "In the future if you are experiencing technical difficulties you are advised to stay by your vehicle or park elsewhere." Of course, the app doesn't have any bugs! If I wasn't forced to use this app on some parking lots, I wouldn't even bother using it.
Very disappointed and bad experience with this app! I registered the car and paid for the parking fee and I got a parking fine due to two numbers were flipped and there were no confirmation what car has been registered. In Parkster and EasyPark at least you got the confirmation what kind and color of car you are registering. I made a complain and still need to pay for the fine! Very very disappointed.
terrible app install and first use experience. wait forever to register. app hangs frequently during registration. I'm renting a car and live in another country, please simplify
Tried numerous times to link to my credit card (two separate ones) and always failed. Waste of time and a test to your patience.
Update: Customer Service solved this professionally! Thanks for that 👍 Can't recommend. Be careful, as it is not enough you enable camera recognition. You still need to separately accept updating you vehichle payment info too. If missing this step you end up being charged extra. Regardless of trying to clarify the same day still why camera recognition didn't work. You get help so late that the 48 hours time window for seeking help (without extra cost to incur for delayed payment) is closing.
I paid for the parking through the Aimo app and it showed in the app that I had payed for 24hrs. Despite that I got a fine for non-payment of parking. I checked with my bank account, and the parking charging firm, running this app, had withdrawn the parking fee as usual and received their due payment. Now I have to fight them for their illegitimate 20-times markup. Annoying! 🤮😵😡
So, got a fine. Parking attendant indicated that I lacked permit. I never chose this option nor did I knew where it was until today's dig through app. How did app decided to set default parking to with permit instead of standard rate? Why this important option is tucked away, hidden and not indicating? To add more, nowhere in my receipt it does say the car was parked on permit. No indication about parking type is shown when parking is in progress. Would app responsibles like to pay my fine?
