I unfortunately have tons of Air France miles, but their app always has bugs and you have to call them to do everything manually each time. Even when you call, you can only make payments in regular business hours. However, the booking you made online gets canceled after a few hours of no payment. It also just flat out doesn't have capabilities like other airlines to make changes or cancel an award booking, even with payment.
This app, or at least the data served to the app is not good. After a flight cancellation, which I 100% understand happens, I was rebooked on another flight. BUT I kept getting notifications that my flight was cancelled, which made me think my second flight was cancelled, then it would not let me check-in because it was telling me my flight was cancelled, even though I had a new flight. It also asked me to choose a new flight with an empty list. This was all very frustrating and confusing.
I see that the UI has changed and usability is significantly improved. It's as if an actual product manager went through the design. That's great. But the app is still very buggy. My last 3 booking, app would not move forward with the booking after I enter my credit card info. There is no error message but it does show further down that I need to call support to finish the booking. Has happened 3 times now and it's annoying. Also, the app gives you a phone # to call but the # is discontinued.
Well designed UI, features just don't work. If all you want is a quick reference for ticket numbers, this is great. Otherwise, stick to paper copies. The passport scanner is useless and cannot be edited after an (incorrect) scan, and changes are rarely saved to any field once made. Good luck to anyone who has to use this.
Haven't experienced the login problems that others have complained about of late... Also on a recent trip that included flights on 3 airlines, with a few stops along the way, I experienced zero issues when it came to notifications, alerts, flight updates... etc. The one thing that always perplexes me (it happens on the website as well/may be its the "French" way of doing things) but you search for a round trip fare, rather than it showing the full fare, it prices outbound separate from return
Buggy, oriented on sales not on satisfaction of costumer. Doesn't recognize my email or my Flying Blue, although i have an account and received several emails regarding booking and ticket on the email adress. By creating a new account with the email, it says 'email already in use', but when i use it, it says 'invalid'. So, annoying, time consuming, poor and again, annoying!
I used to love to fly, now I dread it: the tiny seats able to recline just a bit, super tiny toilet, narrow aisles, and the portions of food that cannot feed a hamster (I guess so we slim down drastically and fit in the tiny seats). The transatlantic flight is an over eight hours ordeal that I would avoid if I could. The shorter flights actually have a bit bigger seats, and are bearable flights. Oh, and the least possible amount of water makes me feel like traveling through a desert. Sad.
Horrific. The worst of the worst apps ever. I have confirmations but they won't come up so I searched for the flight number and it will give me different numbers on different days with different criteria LOL. It's telling me that none of my flight numbers I've just paid for about 2 months ago even are in existence. So I'm glad I donated $8,000 for these flights because your app says I'm going nowhere
This app does not function properly nearly all the time and is super unreliable, which is especially concerning while traveling. Trying to book a ticket is a nightmare. Will only show half a screen at a time, so you can either see the dates or the flight, but not both. Reinstalled the app, restarted the phone, nothing helps. (Samsung Galaxy S24+, Android 15). Would not count on this app for boarding pass or notifications.
When clicking on "Submit a claim", the Android phone suggests a set of apps to open the link which neither fits. If I click back, I end up on a completely different screen. Too difficult to navigate, especially when it comes to contacting the company.
We tried ~20 times on 5 different devices to buy a ticket. Some in the app, some on the website. It just doesn't work. So we called the PREMIUM hotline. And though they are nice, they are telling us a different price for said ticket. Even as we talk on the phone, I can still see the original price on my end... And yet, even the PHONE didn't work! They did not receive the card number! They LIE about prices, their systems are BROKEN and blaming ME!!!
The application is trash just like the airline.. The flight is always operated by the airline of some third world country (even if you have paid for airfrance). There is no option to add check in baggage in the app... It is crashing nonstop..
I have the notifications config turned OFF for "Offers and Promotions", yet I still receive notifications about it :clown:. Got one literally saying: "Discover our offers and promotions". When all I want is to get flight updates, and I explicitly opted out of the others. And if I use the OS to disable all notifications, then I won't get notified of a potencial cancelled flight or a changed gate, or delays. So it's either: acept the spam, or lose functionality.
I was in the Air France app, I clicked and it took me out of the app to a web page, with a menu Pop up asking me if I want to install the Air France app. ridiculous. when I log in, I always get asked if I can rate the app, but that should appear at the end of my experience, not before it even began. I am looking to check in. I have nothing indicating to me it's too early, I can't check In yet. very frustrating.
Despite having disabled "Offers and promotions" in the notification settings, this app continues to send notifications with ads and offers. This app essentially sends spam and ignores the settings - unacceptable
Fails to open frequently and denies access to my account making me use the reset feature tha now does not work either. Frustrating experience, wish I could throw this away

Will not sign in using 1password. Never triggers the saved Passkey. Can't sign in by copy/pasting username and password because I created a Passkey.
The app spams ads, and does not use categories, so you cannot turn them off without turning off important things like gate change notices. It also recently gave me mistaken "Boarding has started" notifications, an hour ahead of actual boarding on two occasions.
This app made me lose 160 USD. During check-in for a flight, it displayed my reservation with zero checked bag and then offered the option to buy checked bags. Thinking that my tickets didn't have check bags included, I paid for 2 checked bags (1 per person, 2 passengers). After the check-in was done, the app displayed correctly and I had a total of 4 checked bags... I called AirFrance immediately to cancel the extra bag option but they were unable to help. I lost $160; AirFrance lost 2 clients.
