Was simple and easy to use. No app issues. For service, the only surprise was the disclosure that they add a "connection fee", although reasonable to me (that is not clear until you set a budget). Got a tasker within 5 minutes and a long-overdue task was done within a couple of days (could have been sooner had I wanted). Definitely will use again.

Not great - there are lots of spam and clearly scam postings. When making a bid on a legit order, we are prevented from bidding "too low". The app makes quite a bit of fees off of these (from both the client and the tasker) and doesn't allow someone to bid significantly lower than the clients budget. So if someone can do the job for a lot less, too bad! You're gonna only get bids around your budget price. What a joke!

Do not use this app, you pay a high moderation fee but when there is an issue never fixed. They don't take any responsibility, and actively help scammers, and blackmailers. When false reviews are reported they do nothing. When the tasker just disappears and asks for more money they do nothing. When the task is not completed. They still charge a really high fee. Then when they reply one time, saying "we won't do anything" they close the ticket. With the issue unresolved.

Pros: It gets you in touch with many professionals, safe payments. Cons: No possibility to edit a review (e.g., if a job looks ok at the beginning, but then you notice mistakes). Plus, you have to leave the review in front of the tasker, in order to release the payment. This causes some pressure.

This is a "TASK" app that is perfect for someone like myself that doesnt want to spend all day trying to figure out how to navigate the app all together and or repetitive summary typing to try and stand out to gain clients and work. With Tasker, this app is the perfect set up so all you do is use 1 template that you can always edit for every job posted by a potential client. tge search engine makes it so easy to search for work. Far too many remote jobs that never work out. my only dislike.

Waste of time. Applied for over 1000 tasks over the years, have won like 10 tasks. Tasks are cancelled. Taskers can change the task amount after you have applied for a task....for example at $100 they then drop the task to $10. You have to compete with many under-qualified people some times up to 50-100 applicants for one task Not able to communicate tasks properly without the task being awarded. you may also be charged a fee for cancelled tasks.

I have been trying for nearly 2 freaking years to get into my account again. I can't. Support is useless. keeps saying the same steps that I've told them do not work. I don't know how many times I have to email for them to finally action this properly. I used to think It was great, I actually used to do a lot of jobs on here and made enough to keep me afloat for a bit. hence the intense desperation in getting my account back. will leave as 1 star until I do so. up your game Jesus Christ.

I've been using Airtasker for years for odd jobs and even getting an app made. It's not perfect, especially the review system but it's the best way to get jobs done that would be difficult to otherwise find solutions to.

Exceptionally high commissions charged to both worker and person requesting the work. Exceptionally slow and poor customer service all based overseas. insurance coverage is only over 5000 dollars leaving people high and dry. Not recommended. Steer clear. Wrote this in 2022. Even higher commissions and worse service now. They also now charge cancellation fees. Not worth it for workers. Avoid at all costs.

Great app but some bad choices let it down: Stop allowing users to directly message people who put up tasks because it completely ruins the fairness for everybody if you can persuade a person in DM's to take down the task and do it cheaper. Also please fix the 'sorry, something went wrong' when people try to comment on a task. That costs us potential work.

The support feature on Airtasker is very disappointing. They don’t get back to you in time to resolve issues. Also, even when I set the distance filter to 10 km, the app still shows tasks that are 25–40 km away. I don’t want to see tasks outside my selected distance. Overall, the filtering and support need serious improvement.

I'd be able to make a lot more money for you Airtasker if you would pay me quickly. Ive been waiting 5 days for $100 and without that money I can't afford to do more work. Please consider your priorities and who it is that brings in the cash for your business - the taskers. Maybe try a different transaction provider who can do it faster? It seems Stripe is holding onto our money for as long as possible to play with it on the stock exchange. They always keep the biggest payments the longest.

1. Why is the agreed price not the agreed price? The price should include all fees and taxes. 2. Why are refunds not repaid as cash to me? 3. Why did nobody from airtasker follow up when a whole month went by after the scheduled date when my tasker was ignoring me. Why did I have to cancel and risk being charged airtasker fees? You should take care of this. 4. Why does does transaction history not show me the value of airtasker credit refunds I've received and when they were used? Very poor

Be careful of taskers taking your job and subcontracting it overseas. You may wait months to get it done properly. Your money would be on hold. Even if you want to cancel, the tasker will not accept. Airtasker always take the side of the Taskers because they bring business. Most of the reviews including Airtaskers own are fake.

It was easy to place my notice and initially had about 11 responses. After contact with a few initial responses, I found when asking further questions they did not respond further, except who I chose was more than happy to answer any questions until I was completely happy to engage him. Airtasker was a great help in finding someone to carry out my requirements.

Fee is ridiculous! 20% to begin with, can go down to 10% if you earn $5300 within 30days. You'd have to work 2 or 3 tasks a day to meet that! Your rating and reviews aren't taken into consideration, except shown to potential customers. Should start with 10% fee and potential go down to 2/3%. Reward taskers getting 5 stars with option to get free waived once or twice in a 30day period. Especially when this app is just craigslist with easier navigation. Smh

BAD! Rip people off. They take fees from BOTH parties (equalling 40%). The help centre is no help at all. People list tasks then never answer any questions and never assign them making it look like there's tasks on the app when there's NOT! And they do NOTHING. It's theft really, taking money without the service.

Airtasker has been a mixed bag for me, I've had disappointments, where people turn up to make a quick buck and haven't delivered as promised, on the other hand I have meet super fabulous taskers and have been totally thrilled and over the moon with their work.

Airtasker were terrific. I had 3 quotes come in all within minutes. Very satisfied with this service. I like that Airtasker held the money until the job was finished. Good cancellation service as well. Will use again if I need a tradie.

It's a great app to make quick money but the only issue is the ridiculous fee they take out. for a $500 job I only get $340, once you have co pleted more tasks the fee is lower. I was at a silver fee but because I was inactive it went back to bronze.
