Fantastic update to the favourites/list feature! No longer redirected to browser to browse groceries. Can mark items I need as favourites, input how many I need, and swipe to complete or delete! Exactly what I needed in an in-built shopping list feature! Hopefully it works offline properly as I cannot get the in store WiFi to work for the life of me. All it's missing now is a loyalty bonus programme ;)

Out of all the retailers apps I have this is the most boring and uninspiring. The positive is the app tells you all about upcoming offers, pretty much a digital version of the paper leaflet. The downside is there are no app offers, vouchers, coupons, challenges or anything like that which will actually make me drive my car and walk into a shop and spend my money. Look at the Lidl app or Nectar or Morrisons, loads of app offers which actually make me want to go in and spend my money. Uninstalling

Sorry, I find Aldi to be a great shop and very competitive with prices. I had my shopping done in store at least twice in the last month or so and definitely happy with the quality and price. The app seems to run smoothly, but I can't figure out how to check out, place the order or register an account, and unless these aren't available options which would just make the app completely pointless, then it's absolutely not easy to navigate and to figure it out at all...

Updated app. Still not working! Doesn't show normal stock items. Useless for planning your shop.

awful app. On our way to an Aldi store so I thought I'd download the app for offers etc. Followed the marketing link to sign up for offers and then....???? cant find where to put my e-mail address. I hit the feedback tab on the edge of screen and nowhere to add a comment and its all in German ! I hope the store is better.

Useless these days! Just constantly shows errors loading anything

Really like the app. Simple and straightforward to use and to check out. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that when you add things to your basket, they only remain there for 30 minutes and then they get wiped! If you're going through all the special buys or you need to leave the app and come back to it, sometimes 30 minutes isn't long enough. You find that your basket has been emptied and you have you start again!!

"We’ve added urgency messaging ... allowing you to keep up to date with which products are the most popular and selling quickly." It would be more helpful if you added the areas where you don't deliver Large Items to. If that was on the product pages, it would save some people wasting hours trying to place an order then getting an error rather than the reason it wasn't accepted.

Special buys are constantly 'coming soon' even though they have been out for days. Products in the pamphlet are listed as different product names on the app and don't show in search results. If you remove all items from your basket, you still have the permanent notification with a countdown telling you how long your items are reserved for, even after emptying your basket. You need to force close the app to remove it.

When it works, it's a good app. Unfortunately, I regularly find that the basket doesn't appear properly; instead I get the cookie notice and an 'opportunity' to add more to my basket without being able to see what's already in my basket. I've found that if I persevere and keep trying to see the basket, eventually it will appear, but it's really not helpful to have a countdown timer, telling me how much longer the items in the basket will be available for me to purchase. Needs fixing.

Love this app, it always runs smoothly, the only thing I would like to be able to do, is select online / in store only, to save going through a load of items that I can't buy online, other than that, is the 30 minutes basket time, this is very annoying as I have to write down my products to re search for sometimes as I like to plan ahead, you should add a plan ahead section, where people can select what they want to buy at a time that suits then, but I can't knock it for that, easily 5* 👍

So easy to order items online and have them delivered. My one gripe is when I get the emails to say special buys have gone live and ready to order, I go online straight away and half the items are already 'sold out'. Aldi needs to get more stock so 'Everyone' has a fair chance of getting hold of the items they want. I've lost out on many items :(

useful app, one star removed because some items just don't show up even if they're in the store (cocoa powder, 2L pepsi max bottles) and another star removed because you can't reorder the shopping list once you know the store layout, which would save me time. otherwise great app

Not really very helpful because it's just for special buys and similar things, not for everyday shopping, so I've just uninstalled it. No point in having it. I was hoping it might have a scanner or some in story grocery offers but it was just the website in an app and I don't really need that. Everyone's just waiting for home delivery of groceries and I don't know why they've delayed it so long... Bit of a missed opportunity I think.

Great app. Easy to use. Just one thing from 5 star, is it defaults showing all stock, rather than just what's available. Tried pre ordering online special buys early this morning, but couldn't, just kept getting a blank screen when I clicked on the 'available to pre order' link, which was disappointing. Looked later and missed out on the one item I wanted, egg chair.

Stunning layout, easy to navigate, pleasent experience using to App everytime. 5*

App frequently doesn't work, telling me I am offline. (how am I able to submit this review if that's true?) Other times it reports being unavailable because it's so popular! Imagine if you were unable to use Aliexpress, Ebay, Amazon, etc, during peak times. Reduced staffing in store doesn't help the physical shopping experience either, very lamentable.

Aldi issued a statement that special buys will no longer be available to purchase online. That's fine as I never purchased online, but I always looked at what was available on the app and what dates they would be in-store. Also there was always more information about the product on the app than on the item in store. I don't pick up magazines from store as I believe they are a waste of paper, I guess I will not be buying special buys anymore. UNINSTALLING as the app serves no purpose now!

Really helpful app but I can't share items anymore. Not sure if it happened on the last update or one before. When I press share it says Aldi can't share if permissions are denied but I go into the app settings and it says no permissions are denied. Apart from that it's a good app to let you know whats coming. It could be doing with categorising everything again so when go into special buys you know when they were released instead of wondering if they are still available
