aloSIM - eSIM Travel Sim Card

Too difficult to set up the SIMs. I waste at least 1/2 hour each time trying to follow all the steps. Even after setting up 4 esims for different countries I travel to, there is always something that doesn't work right. This time, I re-used a sim for Japan from 4 months ago which I left in inactive since I needed to make the trip I'm on now. So I topped it up & activated it before leaving for Japan. When I arrived, it doesn’t work! And they won't refund to my cc. I give up.

Very unreliable, slow speeds. In Vietnam & Colombia only 2G service - useless for data. In 3 other countries, usually less than 10Mbps, never more than 20Mbps. Local physical SIM cards in each case delivered faster speeds for less money. Only in one case the install & connection worked automatically. Customer service is friendly & responds quickly, but unable to solve there technology issues. I switched to another provider - easier & more reliable ...

Positive results but it takes work! I used to travel to a country and buy a sim. this is WAY and by far cheaper and easier BUT there is a learning curve (i haven't mastered it yet)! Installing the esim is never as easy as the directions but i have that figured out and just go manual instal. Next part is the toughest for me, getting that card to activate. When I contact support, they respond within minutes and get me going but you will need to be on wifi for that.

Easy to use app. Wish they had the service for making calls internationally because their sister app hushed is quite confusing. Their customer service team is also A1. Respond fast and gets the matter resolved quickly. And the prices are also not too expensive like other services out there.

We have some challenges in HCMC Vietnam to connect but the support CS was able to resolved. we are happy with this so far. I bought the Asia pack traveling Taiwan, Bangkok and Vietnam. 2026/02/16 update: we're still having trouble using Google maps and rideshare apps due to no data throughput alter we got support by Alosim tech. It's very frustrating when you need to go back to your hotel late at night but the app can't connect.

UPDATE: They refunded my purchase the same day. I will update to 3 star due to refund, but they need to fix what is wrong with their app. inital review: scam, I purchased 30day $40 canadian and it won't work. contacted them, horrible AI support, followed instructions, sent them screenshots of all the steps. This was not my first esim on this Tanzania trip, the other companies worked well. I thought I would try them cause it was less $$$. I guess its my own fault.

Unfortunately, my phone was not compatible with the aloSIM app. However, the customer support team were very quick to respond and suggest solutions before they saw that this was the case. I recommend this app highly (if your phone is compatible!).

Waste of money, didnt work. after purchasing an esim, following installation steps, the internet does not work. to add insult to injury i cant even login to my account anymore as well. horrible service, had my requirement easily fulfilled by a different app.

Easy to use, uncluttered app which makes it very simple to get an esim before you reached your destination. once there it activates automatically. The one time I needed their support, they responded quickly and resolved the issue so I could use my new sim. Very convenient andnthe rates are also reasonable.

Very quick to respond and help. App is really easy to use. The issue was caused by me, but they still helped resolve it before I boarded the plane.

I had an issue with activation of my esim. The support team assisted me promptly and I was able to connect and enjoy the service.

Have used Alosim for international travel on several occasions. Had issues activating in Curacao but support was available and worked through the issue with me so I could activate my esim. Great service and support.

I would rate this less than one if I could. BE AWARE. I lost all my photos, data, and contacts by using this esim and their provider Edge Mobile LLC. My system froze and I could not get it to react even after a factory reboot. I spends hours upon hours trying to get some answers to my questions as how this could happen and I got no where. The blame was passed on to Edge Mobile which some nebulous provider that has no email or phone number. Do NOT USE this esim provider.

Waste of money. It didn't work at all. It was installed correctly showing on my phone in my connection settings, but the app said no eSIM cards were active. No reply from customer service through email, and the support chat bot kept repeating itself, but didn't provide a solution. Currently travelling and don't have data other than wifi. UPDATE: STILL waiting on a response to my emails! Very upsetting, considering the developer responded to this complaint, asking me to send an email.

Alosim is very misleading. If you are interested in data only everything works fine, but the promotion says it comes with a free phone and texting and that is not true. It's complicated and costly. It is better to go with another esim provider if you require phone and texting while traveling.

AloSim is absolutely perfect. I had my doubt, but it surprised me when I used it for my European cruise. 20 min before landing in Rome, I had service... Whatttt, yes, in the air and messages was coming in. I was like, this is dope. I had to turn off my phone so it didn't disrupt signals. I am in love with this app. I also recently used it in the USA, and again, I could keep in touch with family without the hefty daily rate

Good connection in every country I used it. At some point I could not connect but their costumer support center if very efficient and guided me through settings. Would definitely recommend for price value, quallity of service but also very efficient support center

I was having issues activating aloSIM but I was totally impressed by their support team who guided me step by step and I was able to activate and get internet in Mexico. I would definitely recommend this esim to everyone. it is easy to install and their support reach you right away if you have any questions.

I've used this e-sim now several times and it's been so good and no issues. Also the help and support is excellent...
