Very slow app. Almost on every click, I need to wait for 3 seconds and look at the loader on the screen. Also, the filters have lots of bugs and are horrible to use. Clearly, this is made by inexperienced devs who can not do even basic optimization.
Nice UI, but it has lots of problems with the filters, sort options, and search engine. When you go to a product after you take your time to put filters, it just resets everything: filters, sort criterya, really everything. It still shows an order to be pending months after I got an annulment confirmation per email. I really wouldn't expect an app in 2024 to have such issues.
The UI looks nice, but I had some issues with the vouchers. I received one in a pop-up on my laptop, then I installed the app on my phone to use the voucher, but it did not work. When I asked why it won't work in the call center, the reply was that it belongs to another person and I cannot get a different code (I should have logged in faster, lol). Pretty tricky experience with those phantom vouchers 👻. Needless to say, I uninstalled the app and made the purchase without any discounts.
I have been using the app even when it was not present on Play Store. I did not have any major issues with it. I would love to be able to organize my wishlist into several categories like other sites do. This bugs me on the website as well, navigating the wishlist is very bad and slow. As soon as you delete an item from the wishlist, you are back at page 1. I will be giving it 5 stars as soon as the wishlist issues are fixed.
Exceptional support after you place your order. Not even two hours later they called in regards to my ticket and everything was smooth. Also app only discounts are pretty cool. Edit: The firm they picked to do the deliveries is awful though. (I'll leave them a review too.) They let me know "your package arrives today" and then when I checked the awb in the evening the shipment... (surprise!) went back to the same warehouse. 🤣 Leaving the rating as is because it's not directly Altex's fault.
Worst customer support I have ever encountered. I had to wait 2 months for an order that I made. Customer support was useless. I made up the courage to order again after that and I am still waiting after 14 days, I payed for a new product, they told me after 14 days that the only have the product exposed in the stores... Horror, never again.
The shopping experience is frustrating because their navigation is not working properly. When you are navigating back from a product to the list of products, any filtering you configured gets reset. I have to constantly reapply the filtering over and over. Also, sometimes navigating back freezez the app or takes a long time, and I press the back button again, and it takes me two levels back... Very frustrating app.
The app is like any other map, nothing special but the offers, the discounts are a scam. The biggest scam is that "2x the difference if you find the product cheaper" Altex is making extensive efforts to make it difficult for you to receive the discount. Me personally I struggled and after one month of arguing with Altex I managed to receive just 1x the difference, even if before asking I studied the terms and conditions. They specifically make it very difficult. It's not worth it the trouble!
The app is ok, but if a product's stock is set as 'exposed in the showroom' you don't have the possibility to buy it, but only to go, phisically, in that shop, in order to be able to acquire that product! We're in 2025! This is unacceptable!
They broke the terms and conditions of issuing the voucher.Once you give up your old washing machine, they need to issue a voucher of 150 lei in 15 bussines days. It has been 1 month and 6 days and still did not release the voucher.Called 2 times and nothing happened, customer service said he noted the problem in their internal files! Unfortunately I lost my trust in Altex and gonna think twice when buying from them !Called several times and chose the option to be called back ,never happened!
the installation taxes you 850$ for no reason, they said there wasn't supposed to be a hole and taxed another 299$ in total I payed 2000 for a single installation
I hate the fact that you can't modify the order once placed, or you can't cancel the order. Customer care didn't help at all. Worst app ever. I will not buy anything again using this app, and I encourage anyone not to use it because you are not able to modify or cancel the order. Uninstalled

My experience with Altex and the Altex merchandise is extremely pozitive. From ordering on line or in the shop, everything went smooth and easy.Even if I have had a problem it was solved immediately in a friendly manner. Tanks Altex and his staff.
Unprofessional. 1.It does not not provide any delivery tracking information especially for the goods delivered internally by altex. 2.After placing an order with pickup from the store, you are informed that the order is placed successfully and you will be notified by the store for confirmation. It's been 3 day since I placed the order and nobody contacted me for confirmation even though the order status in the app is fully confirmed. 3. They don't provide any voucher tracking
The credentials used on the web page for logging into the account do not work on the app anymore. Reset the password twice, still failing,while working fine in the web interface.
Preety good app , similar to eMag, it gives the user the options of saving (with a <3) button the favorite and the prices are competitive, I recommend it in overall both as an app and a store!
One of the worst retailers in Romania; most of the products are low quality and have issues; customer service is an unavoidable nightmare. The app itself is garbage with false advertising and useless filters.
It is nice, but does mot have English as option, and products sometimes differ from actual store.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra - Altex app refuses to open properly. Their website (Firefox browser, Win 10 PC) tells me to enable Javascript - even though I have. This is **PATHETIC** - don't they want me to buy from them? Then why do they make everything so difficult?!?
