There's two different types of games in this world. The type where you rigorously grind towards some sort of goal (can actually cause more stress), and the type that has no goal, no true failure, nothing to cause extra stress, and actually let's you relax and destress. This game masters both of those categories. You can grind levels by completing tasks, or you can go in zen mode to endlessly explore a beautiful world without a goal or anything stopping you. One of the best mobile games, 10/10.

Overall, this is great. BUT DO NOT BUY THE COMPASS ITEM UNLESS PREPARED. Let me explain. there is an item that quote "let's you travel to different biomes for a small fee", so you can play in different areas. So, I bought it, 4,000 coins. (Which took a while to build up btw) And when I bought it, then and only then did I learn that the "small fee" was 1,000 coins! per use! that is NOT small, and I almost certainly will not be using it. Coins take a bit to build. I was totally ripped off imo.

I love the visuals and sounds in the game! The sounds make every detail so interesting to me, like the differences in grinding a rope and a vine. I also really love the different settings. They all tie together nicely and I can easily tell what setting I'm in. I also like that the controls for the game are very simple. One suggestion I have is, if possible, to prevent the character from getting up again after they fall off their board. Sometimes they do that when falling right before jumping.

Alto's Odyssey is a fantastic game to pick up and play. Beautiful 2D graphics with a nice relaxing vibe. The lack of tricks Alto can do is made up for in the environments. Each new biome gives you new mechanics for you to chain together. There's always something fresh to master. My only complaints are lack of tricks and that you have to end your run to get your next challenges, obstacles can sometimes get lost in the background, and the prices for power-up upgrades feel a tad high. Great game.

Game is amazing, but has a few bugs. Specifically the bridges, you're just flipping around doing students and then comes a bridge over a chasm, if you land just at the start or the end of the bridge, then you just fly right through it, it just doesn't work. It has happened so many times that I had to come here and tell about it. Please fix that Other than that it's an amazing game, live the challenges and the randomness each time

The animation is beautiful to the point of me wanting pictures of it for my wall. The soundtrack fits perfectly. The game is fun with just enough challenge to keep it interesting. My favorite thing is the Zen Mode which you can play without collecting score, completing, challenges, and can keep going after you fall. It is really peaceful and the most relaxing app I've used.

Epic. The soundtrack is perfect and I can't stop listening to it, even after years. The game itself is beautiful, and almost any screenshot you take can be used as a wallpaper because of how pretty it is. (It even has a 'photo' mode!!) The soundtrack is amazing and fits so perfectly with the game. The ads are tolerable, especially playing in airplane mode lol. Have I mentioned the soundtrack? It's the best mobile game soundtrack. I could get lost inside this game forever. Definitely worth it.

Probably my favorite free mobile game. It's relaxing, yet exciting when I want it to be. It's always fun either way. Game manages to be entertaining while having such simple mechanics. The physics are smooth and satisfying. And perhaps the best thing the game has going for it is its amazing atmosphere. I think it could use some more new, unique terrain and obstacles. It gets just a bit repetitive after a certain time of playing the game.

I left a similar review giving praise to the simple yet enjoyable gameplay, stunning and minimalist graphics, and soothing music on Alto's Adventure but felt compelled to leave one here as well. I love these games and highly recommend them. Odyssey is basically a re-skin of Adventure but set in the desert instead of mountains with a few more gameplay aspects but that doesn't make the game any less enjoyable and I'll still keep both downloaded on my phone.

Listen. I love this game, so so much. It's beautiful, easy to learn, and super fun. There are no lives to wait/pay for and I can do Zen Mode if I just want to have fun. It's great. That being said, why give me the option to watch an ad to continue a run if 9/10 times you're just gonna make me watch an ad anyways? I love this game but the constant unskillable ads make it hard to enjoy sometimes

Pretty much phenomenal, but new players should know that it's a pretty slow start, the game may at first seem underwhelming, but I urge you to play until you unlock your first new character, that combined with learning how the game handles will quickly improve your experience. My only request to the devs is to make the characters a little more animated, especially when they're riding at a moderate speed, or jumping without flipping, injecting a little more life can really boost the immersion. <3

The game was great at first, but then once you made it to all the biomes it got repetitive. I really wish there were more places to explore. At the star thg I was always looking forward to where I would end up next but then the new stuff stopped coming. This was in the matter of a few days. Other than that, it is a very beautiful game and I reccomend playing it.

Not only are the mechanics fun to to figure out but the music and visuals are so soothing yet exciting. I also love that the game is fully playable without ads, you can either build up coins or watch an ad to keep going after a crash, and even then your progress saves with each new biome, so you really dont need to do either unless you're in a rush to reach all the biomes. The Zen mode is a nice touch too, where you can just enjoy playing the game for tge sake of play instead of skill.

Great music and visuals, nice atmosphere. Mechanics are simple but done well enough to never feel lacking. Not sure if the wingsuit takes too much from the challenge by giving an easy out for mistakes, but it is very fun. Would like more terrain types. Lemurs are more annoying than hard, when one gets me it's usually because I lack options, not because I choose wrong. Running as Izel can get so fast that I hit obstacles with no chance to avoid them, which feels like punishment for playing well.

I love this game, but it has been very buggy lately. The screen will rubber band or it'll skip/lag, I'll all the sudden get a crazy speed boost (not the typical after trick boost) and I'll get flung across like 500 meters of map, or it'll fling me into the air and I can't come back down. A lot of the lag seems to come around the 7,500 to 10,000 meter mark, and it'll just get worse the further I go. I'm playing on a brand new S25 Ultra, so I highly doubt it's the phone.

Magical, easy to master. Charming graphics and a beautiful soundtrack. But what really sets this series apart is that these are the rare games you play to mellow yourself out. Get it back from a hard day's work or intense day of school, sit down, and play. Then lose yourself on Zen mode, and tell me it's not the best way to end the day.

I gotta say, this game is the definition of what the world would be like if there is just kindness, peace, and joy, but with very, very, very little obstacles standing in your way. Alto's Odyssey describes just that, you can pretty much see it in the setting, the design of each biome, and the weather too, ranging from a clear and starry night sky, to a little t-storm. You did an amazing job, devs. =)

Fantastic sequel to a fantastic game. Lived up to almost all of my expectations but it's glitching out in a way that stops me from being able to pass a level. I'm stuck on "land 10 backflips within 1000m" no matter how many extra backflips I do past 10, it's just stuck at 80%. I'm not even being given the option to pay with coins to skip it. C'mon guys, this is the only game I play on my phone anymore, and it's kinda disappointing that there's no point in playing anymore and I'm like not even halfway through the levels.

I think this is arguably one of the best mobile games. Gameplay is simple and fun, the aesthetics are pretty, in app purchase are reasonable and fair, very few ads. That being said there are some things that are very frustrating. Such as the game not recognizing I want to do a wall ride and instead making me do a backflip and fall into a pit thus ending my run. Also at high speeds some rocks/obstacles seem to appear out of nowhere and the night theme makes seeing those obstacles a lot harder.

When my internet and/or data don't work, this is my game, I mean it's like an endless platformer/runner game, but with the most beautiful and realistic audio and just astonishing gameplay graphics and content. Another thing I love is that this game has in-app purchases, but they're all so much cheaper than the other games and it doesn't force you to buy anything. At this point, for how amazing the "Alto" games are, I want to buy the ad remover JUST so I can give back to the team this Christmas.
