This service is terrible!!! i have provided every piece of legal information possible.Even my BMI performing rights number and they still are rejecting me!!! not sure whether it rejected me other than they're stealing my royalties. I hate that I need amazon to sell records because they/ YOU are a terrible partner!!!
“Very useful app for independent artists. Easy to track streams, listeners, and audience insights. Clean interface and helpful analytics.”
I'm still up in the air about it. I have an issue with quite a few of my own original songs are on wrong artists and I have reported already 4 times without any results or anyone contacting me
Doesn't work. I try to use the part where you report your music is on someone else's profile, but it just doesn't search properly when I try to show which material is mine and in the wrong profile. So, I tried to contact amazon music, but good luck finding an email contact. All of my material is on some other guy's profile. Pretty ridiculous that they just dump it on someone who has the same name. Needs a far better system to prevent this happening. Unless they move it, I'll just pull it soon.
Terrible. Majority of our catalog is missing. Another artist song on attatched to profile and we do not have the same name, not even close. Spent an hour tryng to report the issue and could not do so. Recieved an email saying a record was playlisted a while back yet no data, no notifcation in the app, nothing. This app needs to be updated accordingly and these issues need to be sorted. There are other musicians experiencing this as well. - BLiTSZWORLD Inc.
Extremely limited. Not much to do on app. all you can do is look at whatever stats you have. Artist profile is minimal, and not very useful. Waste of storage space of an app. if the listener experience for Amazon Music is similar, I can see why most people don't bother with it.
This app was great until greedy Amazon executives decided to downgrade it in order to extract an additional $108 from Amazon Prime members who already shelled out $159. Now everyone's music is locked away behind a paywall until they cough up the $108. Until then, they must listen to "similar artists" instead of what they've chosen to hear. Any music they legally purchased is also unplayable until the user decides to pay the ransom to Amazon. Do not download or update.
Waiting on review process, so only commenting on the sign-up. Seeing a lot of reviews complaining of not being able to get the "Submit" button to work; make sure you've added your "Company" info into the first field. It took me a bit to catch that, even though I was warned in the CD Baby email!
Submit button remains grayed out no matter what... can't find anyone to contact. As such, you can't correct any problems with your artist page such as fixing your name or removing incorrectly listed music. Clicking the links for more instructions takes you to a useless FAQ which circles you back to where you were. Tried the app on two phones and on the desktop website with the same issue on all- cannot submit any help requests or correction requests because the submit button is nonfunctional.
Apparently I have had no streams on amazon since June 22.. and there seems to be no way for me to promote my music, or find out how to fix any problems.I have amassed over 100,000 plays/streams on other platforms so I don't think my music can be so bad that the whole internet has blocked my catalogue... But through Amazon music there is apparently no way to find out what the problems are.
Amazon did an incredible job with their program I enjoy using it and I keep it installed as an artist that keeps me up-to-date and it's also very accurate I also enjoy knowing how many people are talking about me through the Alexa devices.
Gone through verification at least 5000 times in last 6 months. Can't even get past 1st step. Spotify was easy, apple was easy, pandora was easy and all the rest were simple to setup my artist page. Then there is amazon who won't even let you access your own music or anything that belongs to me.
Despite the challenges on Amazon Music with my songs being misidentified and misclassified, I find this App to be Awesome! I love the layout, the features and the promotional opportunities available. This gets the thumbs up for sure 👍🏽 #givingempress™️©️
After linking to FB, Twitter, and CD Baby, no problem, there's a last field asking for additional info. Put in my website URL, but the submit button doesn't light up and isn't click able. So, can't continue...
The app itself is fine but I have had no streaming data published since 12th July. Voice requests are coming through. I released a new single on 6th Sept and know damn well that people have been listening and downloading it on Amazon Music. My distributor has also not reveived any data. I have reached out to.your customer service representatives but have not received a response
When are you adding the support for changing my artist profile image through the app? I have to send an e-mail to change it currently for which I have not received a reply yet. The image it currently shows is a fallback image for famous album. Spotify provides support for changing the image through their web page. Please provide this support sooner. Thanks.
It is taking waaaay too long to get access to my band's account. It was instant on all other platforms and has been weeks and I still cannot get access on the Amazon account.
This is an absolutely awful app. I can't claim my artist profile. Their links don't work and the only distributer they work with is CDbaby. Besides I don't know anyone who listens to music on Amazon. Awful app awful support
Poor comprehension of customer issues was my experience. Also poor direction of the proper department to solve an issue. The representatives were outright Incorrect about the issue I had and provided an answer more in line with wanting to dismiss the phonecall than to Actually help. Multiple times reps weren't knowledgeable on where to direct my issue to. The emails all appear to be automated although they are signed by what is obviously not a real person at the bottom. There was no attention to
Will this app ever really work... Seems to be going backwards in its development... It is just an app for amazon to say we have an app just for the "how things look" narrative but the reality of its use is, it is just a cardboard cut out of what it is suppose to be... Useless
