AMS Connect

Terrible. It is not user friendly. Can not copy paste, search within app for quick results. It crashes often. In the era of many smart and efficient communication apps, this app functions fail to impress.

The app doesn't notify me with sound on my phone, but still makes sound on my watch. I checked my phone's sound settings and they seem alright. This has been a new issue after the recent update.

Keeps notifying me that I have a new message from my providers but it says that they have not read the msg nor responded. I logged in online and there was a message. This app needs updated urgently before someone potentially gets hurt from a missed communication.

terrible excuse for a paging app. logs you out without you knowing, only keeps you logged in for a short period of time before logging you out.

The app works well and is decently customizable. I do receive constant "Unable to Connect to Server" toasts when I get home. Also, it would be handy to have a function to set specific alert sounds per person/group or for new conversations vs messages to existing ones. Lastly, a dark mode would be appreciated for us night shifters!

Works fine, but I CONSTANTLY get "cannot connect to server popups" and they are incredibly annoying. The only way to resolve this is to open the app and reset pop-ups. Giving it 2 stars though because this happens constantly, would upgrade to 5 if it was fixed.

Android user here (Pixel phone) and this thing doesn't make a sound despite having my sound on an all the notifications for the app on. At first it was only vibrating even when sound was on, then I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now it's even worse, not even vibrating. How am I supposed to be paged when on call when I can't hear a single page?

New update is terrible. Shrill full volume beep for every pager message regardless of my ring tone or phone volume. If I disable the "dnd override" setting in my phone I get no notification at all. This is the worst and makes the app unusable. I will be uninstalling and going back to a pager... It's that's bad. Update: app, is still terrible. The beep is somewhat better. But the new problem is that I no longer receive any alert when another user messages me! Useless.

The app is very good for communication between our teams. On occasion though, I get a random text with a lot of numbers coming from some other place that is not at all related to my company. It is happening less frequently, but it's just a little weird.

I am not getting the correct pages for my service teams and it has taken many emails back and forth with customer service to attempt to rectify the problem. Many coworkers have this app in the same hospital system I work in so setting up service teams, I would think, shouldn't be difficult to do.

I love having this available instead of my pager, MOSTLY. Unfortunately, when I'm driving and connected to Android Auto, the notifications dont come through the speakers at all (car or phone). I have tried every setting I can find, including having it continue to notify on DND and silent mode, but it doesn't alert at all when android auto is connected. I have missed several pages while driving and have resorted to keeping my pager in the car.

Does not connect well. It is not my internet service. Not a user friendly device. Cannot find how to turn off the alarm. It scared me on several occasions with how loud and alarming it is. Overall just not a very good app does not let me delete messages either.

There is no flow, it does not let you delete old messages. It does not keep a thread for when you are on call with the call group. It is not easy to use in any sense. It is hard to change the notification sound, in my opinion it is a useless app.

latest update mutes sounds. only getting vibrations, not alerts

this app is absolute garbage. depending on it for critical communication is a liability and safety concern.

Alert tones do not change despite attempting to use different ones in the settings. Scheduling on-call times for service teams does not work... After setting up the list of teams and dates, the "save" button does nothing.

My hospital switched from Spok to AMS. Experience has been terrible. Spok app let me override all do not disturb settings. including vibrate and silent. The app would ring no matter what. AMS claims to override do not disturb settings. But my phone will not ring if it's set to vibrate or silent. Which again, the Spok app would ring pages no matter what. This is unacceptable. And it causes me and my coworkers to miss pages. Which is unsafe when you work in a critical care area.

I kept getting alerts from some company I was not affiliated with and wasn't able turn them off with multiple messages to company and app. There is no way to clear history. Had to turn off app 75% of time

I hate this app. it doesn't send notifications to my pager or phone reliably. when I have alerts on from ams it will alert w/o a message having been sent. if I didn't have to use this for work I wouldn't choose it for myself.

Regardless of which alarm I set it to (including volume and number of reminders), it only beeps with the default alarm. No way to test without an actual dispatch being sent.
