We started with Home Advisor in 2018. At the time, it was helpful as our business was new. Once it changed to Angi it was awful. The leads were vague or not even our scope! And the cost wasn't shown until I accepted the lead. We became very choosy and passed on a lot because they werent worth it. I only look at opportunities that show the price and gives details about the job. Now our business isn't showing in the app. Angie overcomplicated the interface. We'll be going elsewhere from now on.

I've been on here since 2022 and at first it was ok. Sometimes the leads are way too overpriced for the work you can actually charge for so you only break even if you're lucky. This having to call Angi for every little thing you want to change is an inconvenience to say the least. I do agree with most of the reviews about bogus leads. You get a lead and call for a week but no one ever answers or you get "I was only messing around I'm not interested right now". I still pay $20-$30 for that lead..

App that used to be very interactively well put together and easy to manage, is now garbage? As a "PRO" anything that you used to be able to do on the app to help guide your customers and your business has now become a hassle of such proportion, being with every change you try to make you are forced to call in to their center of which I haven't had anything i can say as you can't understand any of the things they try to speak in English. 0/10 if you want a good app for contractors. Thumbtack.

terrible app. freezes all the time. when it doesn't freeze, the interface for messaging doesn't work and you can never reach customer support. they don't have a phone number you can call and even when they do start a chat with you they literally move on to do something else without resolving anything. and most of the leads are junk, just people looking for the cheapest possible service and going with whoever is willing to do the work illegally and without a license.

I started this before when it was home advisor in 2018-2019. and worked ok at the time. not great but not terrible. I found other lead generating ads that worked better and less cost per lead. I came back to this app and they changed it to Angie pro. it was much more expensive for leads and instant booking was a fail. most people wouldn't answer and it would be a lead wasted. now I don't even use it at all due to high cost low quality leads.

Its cost a lot of money for a poor service. They charge you for every lead even when you are not able to contact the person that submitted the lead. Sometimes I can't reach potential clients through Angie's phone service, and it has a bad delay when I do (they also don't give you the customers phone number so that you can directly call them), I can't add notes to any of the leads (there's a button but it says it can't save and to "try again later").

Definitely lost out on more than not. Company is garbage. False leads are easily 4 to 1. No refunds on bogus calls. Have 7 pending now that not a single person answers no matter how many times you attempt to reach them. Yet you still give the company money even though you tell them they're wild goose chases. App doesn't call the customer when you choose the option. Constantly crashes. I've sent numerous reports in when app "stops suddenly". Statuses are antiquated to put it lightly.

The app don't have the option to add negative words. And the problem with that is, if a customer is looking for a service not related with our services offered, they send it, charging up $24 for that lead, and at the end, the customer didn't answer the phone calls or messages. Example, we got a lead were charged $16 for a track for closet doors. We don't do that kind of jobs, but they send it. Is my point of view. Please add negative words and everything we' be better

Slow app. Often times it says I have no leads, have to close it and reopen. I'm running a business and need dependable apps. It's always telling me "no internet connection" Another edition. Now most of leads/opportunities do not have descriptions so you have no idea what you are bidding on. I've fed this back many times and I think Angi wants it this way. I won't be on here much longer.

The app is ok. I wish i could have the customers phone number so im not using the app to call them each time. Plus im still wrapping my head around the (pretty high in my opinion) cost of leads. I've gotten a good amount of customers though. I keep my leads turned off (u can do it for up to 2 weeks on pc) and just screen the "opportunities" this way i can choose my leads.

Paid 500.00 in leads and didn't even get a job due to "customers" never picking up and the few that picked up didn't need services until 1 month later. Most of leads seem to be bots from my point of view since you couldn't even leave voice mails. Calls would ring 3 times and just end. Leads were very strange at times. As early as 5 AM and as late as 10 PM. To me they were total frauds . They never pick up even in different days. Total waste of my money.

Waste of time, waste of money. You don't get through to clients, you have to pay for every lead. There is a refund if you meet certain requirements, but it is more if a "credit". After a few of those, you get banned from getting the credits. You can set limits on valuation of leads you can accept per month, but get charged way more. I've had over 1000 $ in charges and no one will pick up the phone to answer questions. All in all feels like more of a scam than a service!

It is alright. It is definietly hard to use because it charges you when customers want a quote and sometimes the leads for some reason are different amounts and are extremely high. If you don't aquire any new jobs from those leads, it ends up putting you in debt more than help you out. Doesn't matter if you are the first to call customers, they just want a quote. We should only be charged if we get the job not just a lead. They are making a ton of money off of people trying to get clients.

Home Advisor had a 5 star rating from me. Once Angi took over it all went to hell! The app is terrible now and they don't allow you to do hardly anything without calling in. Worst part is that it is the busy season for us and we cannot take on more work, but Angi won't let us turn off leads during this time from the app. Only 48 hours at a time. Then they send a lead we can't possibly get to (which is also 9/10 times NOT what the customer is looking for) and charge you $60 for the lead.

It's a scam! Angie will give you leads for work you don't do and phone numbers that are disconnected. They charge immediately and refuse to credit for these. I'm editing my review because of Angie's response. They said work placed in the wrong category and wrong phone numbers are valid reasons for credit. And yet they still deny me the next day. No reason why no explanation. Classic case of saying one thing and doing another. I reiterate it is a scam!

Asked for 4 leads a months, got more than 20 going off at 3am. Tried canceling twice, instead they left the leads keep coming so we kept getting charged. Then they took $2000 even though we tried to canceling. They won't refund you, but credit you. Hell no I don't want to stay with the app so. How are you going to know what you are going to do without asking, but angi sees it as " hey, here you go, a lead. You open, it's going to be a charge for something you don't even know what you are doing."

I wish I read through the reviews before getting myself into this mess. I was charge with $1500 after 7 days into the business without making $1000. Thank God I call and they gave me a discount which some how reduce the amount. It doesn't makes sense when you are charge for something you did not use. Sometimes you call the customer, they'll hang the phone on you and others will not even pick the call but you are still going to be charge by Angie. Please read through your contract before singing.

Terrible. Don't use this app. They will send you leads until the point of your business drowning in debt to pay them. They dont inform customers or you that even when they look for a quote, you get charged. If your leads are turned off (only for 48 hours at a time) they will sneak one in and charge you for an "exact match" They don't return credits for damn near anything, and I haven't had a single lead come to fruition, and somehow owe 500$ I've only been on here for 3 weeks Scam artist at best

Definitely not worthy!!! They seriously overcharge per leads! This is a completely ripped off 😡 almost $100 gone in less than an hour they charged me $61 per a lead which it means that I will be working for free cause I won't be making any profit in that job! The other lead was $30 and when I called they hanged up on me! So that was a waste of money and time, wonder how much would I end up paying through out the day if I don't pause it!

The app works great, however I'm a small contractor, (just me), I wish there was a way to limit the amount of leads per day or week instead of pausing them and possibly forgetting and then getting a ton of leads that I can't keep up with calling or afford to pay for! I do think that the lead fees are ridiculously priced, I've spent $200 in a week on people that were "curious" or the contact info was bogus wrong phone number! I can't afford to pay for garbage leads...
