Got back into this after playing the originals. I used to play these games for hours waiting to get tired while laying in bed. Won't be doing that with this game. You only get so many lives before the game forces you to buy more. You lose a life even when completing a level? i understand losing a life if you fail but come on. This is just plain greed. You get maybe 15 minutes of gameplay before you have to spend some sort of in game currency. Disappointed is an understatement.

The game is rough. Some levels are made to be damn near unbearable because they desperately want you to spend money in their shop. And oh my god the popups. Every time I enter the main menu, whether I'm just booting up the game or I'm changing game modes, I never get anything less than four popups in a row advertising literally every aspect of the shop. And to make it worse there are ads every couple minutes. If you're thinking of playing this out of nostalgia for the original, don't do it

I get the green pig on the first 4 floors guaranteed. Every time I open the app, you have 3 pop-ups immediately. One is always trying to sell me $25-99 packages. You're insane. this pay to play trash is out of control. you require spending points to play the game. The first pop-up I see is a "sale" for a $99 package? I can't just play the game without being bombarded by 5 ads and pop-ups in 10 seconds. You should feel bad. There's zero reason for you to take up 1 GB of cache on my phone.. ... .

As a long time fan since the first game. I personally think this game is phenomenal. The physics, gravity and overall gameplay to the original birds and their power just feels better. Even the new "birds" like Leonard still surprise me. Take this how you will, it's definitely an improvement although I wish rovio hadn't lost so much to just remove the original game from the store. I would have paid that 2.99. this isn't from a bot. just support your creators ❤️

I used to love playing AB, truly 1 of my favorite mobile games & IMO one of the best EVER created- fun, challenging, & unique. But I was GUTTED to find the game has now been reworked into oblivion, leaving the original straightforward puzzle-centered game lost to the past. The constant interruptions by these short cinematic animations and incessant "achievement" pop ups is inconvenient/annoying at best & heartbreaking at worst. REFOCUS on new levels, strip off the extras- You were perfect b4.😔

it's really fun but I just wish that there wasn't the dumb stamina feature. Why would a game have a set amount of tries until you need to wait for the stamina to refill? What was the thought process, "let's not let our players play our game"?? This game would be a 10/10 if I could actually play it but after like 4 rounds I run out of stamina and have to wait an hour before I get my stamina back and by that time I'm not playing anymore. Please remove the stamina feature so I can actually play.

Angry Birds 2 is another game that feels very much like pay to win. I feel like I am met with ad after ad following each completed level. To complete the higher levels, you need to increase the power your flock, which is primarily done by purchasing hats or outfits. The easiest way to do this is...buy in-game currency. If you want a game that doesn't have constent ads and in-game purchases thrown at you, this game is not for you.

Such a shame to see how Angry Birds gotten so bad. the leveling system is terrible. Birds get weaker overtime so even if you spend money to upgrade them there's no point. the pop-ups are unrelenting. weekly challenges are broken. main mission isn't hard but you only get six attempts a day that's if your birds are high enough level which usually they're not. so basically the game forces you to try to spend money every day if you want to play it. really not meant for kids anymore

Egregious Pay-to-Win. Once you beat the main levels, the daily challenges and other goals become near impossible without using spells or having very high levelled birds to continue earning more cards to use. You need different currencies for almost every thing in the game, retry a level? You need gems. Buy hats? More currencies. There's also a wish coin I don't even know how to use. There's so many currencies and systems it's almost overwhelming. I'd rather just play the first game but can't.

Massive edit to my review. I'm enjoying the game more but I have 2 things to complain about. 1: the daily challenge. Sure, it's supposed to be a challenge but I feel that it's too difficult (I'm on the 4-5-6 layout) and I always have to go to YouTube and look at a guide as I still lose to the point where I have to spend gems. 2: Apples. I just have a hard time getting them. I can barely make back what I spent on the hatching so maybe make apples more accessible.

SCAM!!!!!!! You need to play the elevator game to get items to play certain parts of the game but they make it impossible to get those items. Even if you pay to keep going it tries to make you pay even more! I figured I would try paying to see how far it would let me go. I drew the line at $20 and couldn't even make it to the end. SHAME ON THE CREATORS!!!! You just lost a loyal customer. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Fun game for what is it, but ultimately too focused on extracting money from you. Constantly offering things to buy. Hats are FOMO manipulation that you can't buy after the event. Levels are all RNG and designed to require power ups/energy/etc. It's fine if you want to spend a few minutes a day playing, but you will miss out on almost everything as f2p.

I love the game except there are so many flaws such as glitches and it's super obvious how the tower of fortune is just so biased of when you will get something good. I have a 15 min. time limit and that makes it worse because if i lose a daily challenge, there's no point in redoing it. This game is just the one thing that ruins my day when all I wanted was to wind down...

I was hopeful that this was just a remake. it's not. it's a micro transaction heavy, I mean worst I've ever seen in an app. after every mission is gives you a new deal. it's also just not coded well, multiple offers for real money will pop at once freezing the game. and it always asks you if your sure u don't want to buy it. terrible energy system, pvp is garbage and seems random. did I mention the constant micro transactions you have to say no two twice after every mission, and loading the game

Angry Birds 2 could have been a fun and engaging game, but the experience is heavily spoiled by the endless ads. They appear far too often and quickly become extremely irritating. On top of that, the game constantly pushes in‑app purchases, making it feel more like a money‑draining machine than a casual mobile game. It would have been much better if the developers had simply released a paid version from the start instead of trying to extract money for every bonus and feature.

I've played this game ever since it first came out in 2015 and played it for a good 5 yesrs I notice the energy started to appear and you use 10 energy to play each levels, so I stopped playing for a while until I had an email change and I couldn't play anymore because of it and lost everything after having some much stats. Now, I've started playing again after not playing for 4 years and the energy stats are the reasons why I stopped playing, if they can that out, it would be enjoyable.

I'd give it a 0 if I could. The sheer volume of ads is crazy. Every screen is another ad to spend crazy sums of money for a mobile game. 24.99 to 99.99 and higher! All colorful and cheerful looking. I understand now how a child could rack up huge charges on a mobile game. Then there's addictive elements. It's worse than a casino with the way it tries to draw your attention to each new thing you can buy, each new attempt you can make. Game is made to create gambling addiction. Stay away.

a lot of inconsistencies with the physics in the game in launch, height, and distance. The density of structure seems to lack consistency as well. same bird will break one block, but not another of the same material. it is a fun game, but since passing level 160 on the board, I am getting a pop up ads after every level completed. It's becoming too much with the pop-up ads.

Angry Birds 2 looks and plays great- easily one of the best-designed mobile games out there. The gameplay is smooth, the visuals are top-tier, and it's genuinely fun. But once you get far enough, the random bird draw and sudden difficulty spikes make progress feel more about grinding (or paying) than skill. It starts to feel like the game is designed to keep you playing-or spending. Still worth playing, just know what you're in for.

Super fun game completely undermined by micro transactions. Even if you are WINNING you can run out of credits and have to wait or pay. You can watch an ad for credits but that involves literally playing another game and being sent to the app store. and constant prompts like "wanna pay $10 for a hat for the bird?" Insane. But a shame since it's so fun. If it wasn't so dead set against me progressing for free I would give it five stars
