I love this game. I don't mind challenge, but many of the games have way to many obstacles to overcome and to few birds. Makes it impossible to complete without buying coins. Nothing wrong with buying a few coins once in a while but come on guys, this game is designed to break you. If you got the money play this game, otherwise don't install!! Would give it 5 stars, but the coin purchase out ways the challenge..saying goodbye..
Fun to play at first and relieve the stress. But about level 150, game starts cheating. It is VERY frustrating. Even if you get a direct hit (or 3 or 4 on the same bird cage) NOTHING happens and you have to spend another bird to destroy it. The developers purposely change the game dynamics so that the game "cheats" , you spend more lives and thus pay to play. I'm level 265 now and it's getting almost impossible to play. Definitely will NOT pay to play a frustrating game. Make it enjoyable!
I would rate this way higher, but only 1 star because they try so hard to get you to spend money to keep progressing. You don't have to spend money, as I don't, but you will only be able to progress through 1 or 2 levels per day in later levels. There is absolutely no way to earn decent coin other than progressing. But if you're out of coin then you can't progress if you're stuck. There needs to be, at the very least, a way to earn coin without buying them. 100 coin per box is not enough.
Ever since the latest updates, you're unable to play the level you're frustratingly unable to finish, starting with a different bird. Sometimes all it takes is a strategy with a different bird, to overcome a very difficult level. What does it mean? It's taken me hours, days to finish 1 level without having to pay more often for extra coins for special attacks. Coincidence? Unfortunate accident that's been overlooked? I don't think so! I love to play, but not if it's another monthly bill.
This is extremely boring. So far there's one bird that knocks everything down every time; and just like the matching games of today, you acquire coins and a certain amount of play time without taking damage. This obviously means that the further I get into the game I'm going to end up most likely having to use points or some other nonsense to be able to continue to the another level.
Overall, it's satisfying. However, at times it is a bit frustrating. So much so that you'll want to uninstall it. Don't. If your stuck on a level just close it and come back to it later. I've noticed that it sort of alters the parameters of the level. Like you'll start with a different bird and a couple of blocks are repositioned or removed. Several times I've run out of birds with a room in or two left to clear. The next day a blaze through it with a bird to spare. But not always.
The game is great, and support is quick to respond when something odd happens. You'll spend more money than you think you will, but the purchases make the game more enjoyable. Update: Stopped spending (I've got a mortgage payment...) and stopped progressing. Play Points can't be used in Journey apparently. Choice in bird based on situation would be great - still fun but much more enjoyable if you can drop over $100 a week on it. I'm going to have to check out AB 2 again.
Uninstalled. It was fun, but I got very tired of some physics being unsolvable. How exactly do those stupid cages break? It fell from the top of the screen to the bottom, no problem surviving, it rolled over, POP. Etc. It seems like a great way to sell power up coin bla bla get to the next level for money, which is offered in abundance. So yeah, uninstalled.
Very disappointed in the new Journey game . I love the Angry Birds games, but this one I had to uninstall and reinstall twice. Also, I would pass levels and at the end they would make me either pay or repeat the level even though I beat it. One other thing is they kept the tutorial on maybe I didn't get far enough I was on level 104 when I quit, and I asked support if there is a way to turn it off and got no response.
This game SUCKS! I, an OG fan, have to say that this is one of the more terrible games. Also, you can't tap the screen to activate it, you have to wait untill they hit a speck of dust untill they do something! And unlike most of the other slingshot games, Red isn't available from the first level. There is also some minor differences. The most notable one is that Silver doesn't look like her classic or movie appearance. They took a minor character from the 2nd movie and called her "Silver."
The games shows you where to aim and ,to me it's playing the game for you . It's predictable. Now the old angry birds, was easier to get power up and hang on to them for a long time and only use them for very difficult levels. I tried not to use them so I had a stick pile of them. Angry birds 2 can't hold on to any always needing the. Can't acquire them very easy. The power behind any of the birds, went you really need to send that bird way out there, does not have enough power to reach .
It was Highly addictive for me. In the beginning it was enough to wait for lives to respawn for free . . But after a while I ended up too involved in gameplay and began spending money buying lives and power ups. Which I suspect was the game makers aim in the first place. But I essentially Wasted a lot of money just to play a silly game. Jokes on me I suppose. From now on I'll stick to games that don't have money traps.
Not at all up to code with the original games. The birds don't sound like birds anymore, the pigs are now squares, the artstyle is overwhelmingly cutesy, and not in a good way. The bird's powers activate automatically, like Rovio thought we were too stupid to be able to use them ourselves. Even Angry Birds 2, widely recognized as being just too different from the classics, is superior to this game.
This version is very disappointing in that it makes the birds totally random, and you don't get the option to use what bird you want among available birds. It takes away the strategy element that makes it fun. Futher the randomness of destruction seems to inconsistent. Birds that should die, or love birds that should find each other, don't, forcing you to use more birds. This game is blatant pay to win, which is disappointing from Rovio. Poor effort.
Your ads are completely out of hand. Wait 30-40 seconds, wait for the X to show up, then having to keep pressing X after x after x. I'd buy the game if that was an option, I like it so much. But you really need to crack down on the ads and limit them to 30 seconds with no interactive content. I can't tell you how many times a badly or maliciously coded ad sends me to the Play Store. I do understand the need for ads, but please get them under control.
This game is fun to play, but very inconsistent. Sometimes the pigs will freefall hard after getting hit, sometimes they fall like a feather, so they don't die on impact, depending on where you're at in the level. The red birds are useless. The powered up red birds will sometimes create havoc, other times will hit the same wood board five times (nowhere close to a bird), not ever break the board, then end. Also, you lose a life if your game freezes up upon starting a level. Happens often...
This game continually freezes. It tells you there are no more levels but then if you close it out the levels are there. The birds change on different levels. I have tried several times this week to reach out to someone and Noone responds. Oh and don't uninstall it by accident you will loose all progress! I have played all the angry bird games and this one is by far the worst. It's a fun game but I am ready to be done with it.
Angry Birds? More like Cutie Birds 😭 The style is completely different, for the worst, the only thing that could save it is better visuals (such as showing the POV of the bird and pig when readying an attack) or having everything be interactive like touching certain things will make a noice or a small animation, simple things can make a game a lot more meaningful or else it'll just feel rushed and have no passion. Also- improve on expressions please!
Was 5* until I found out that the game regularly and randomly freezes or crashes and you lose your current progress + boosters. On top of that, it often freezes when you're collecting bonuses and again you lose everything including the bonus item. Then there's no way to report the glitch or to get reimbursed. Seems like I've downloaded another greedy game that doesn't give a toss about its customers. Update: Lvl-1100 Still the same and now boring. Deleted.
Love the game. But since your last update, I've "lost" about 3 chests. when you watch the ad to get the chest or to get any "bonus," the ad force closes the app. Don't mind the ads because there really isn't a lot. But force closing and then not even getting the "bonus" after you waste your time watching is a pain in the...well you know what I mean.
