Absolute worst application that I ever had to use. The screens keep refreshing for no reason, translations are half working, first it loads the UI in Japanese then it changes to English (sometimes it doesn't). Verification process requires you to call a Japanese phone number which incurs additional fees on your phone bill. I had to verify my number twice for no reason. You have to register two different accounts, one on +id and then again on anypass. Why? Horrible UI/UX.
Horrible experience. It does not work well with android. Did verification through phone calls for 20times buy it kept saying that it can't see my number eventhough I have already set the ID caller setting to show ID caller. After the "verification by phone call" it does not even return to the app. I called my telco for help but they could not help
rubbish. SMS feature does not work on Android at all. Drawing tickets involve several parties several accounts, but linkage with phone number, but something like OAuth. If the developers do not have enough ability, please simply send a SMS message to users, rather than trying to make Android and iOS two versions. Wasted my time finding firguring out the solutions, asking my friends for iPhone, etc. Very disappointed on Japanese made IT stuffs.
I have never once written a review for an app but I felt I had to report just how utterly broken this app is on Android. I have been trying to set up an account for over an hour and it crashes at the slightest touch of a button, freezes when trying to scroll down, etc.
Edit 4/8/23. This app is still the worst of the worst. At a Blackpink concert, upon entrance, I understand there's a network overload; however, what makes it more unbearable is the UI (loading times, launch, and fluidity of the app). I hate that they want to implement this system for the masses when the service is so poor, and it's us customers who suffer.
Unable to authenticate phone even though caller ID is not blocked. Have contacted AnyPass customer service for this error and they are not able to resolve this issue, even asking me to contact after ticket issuance start date.. what difference would it make whether I contact now or after the issuance start date, will the app be better ? And by then it is very very late to resolve the issue. I read the comments and other people using Andriod are having the same issue as me. Please improve!!
type 1 letter, freeze for 30 seconds. press 1 button, keyboard jumps around like crazy. fill out form takes 30 minutes: 2 minutes typing time and 28 minutes screen freeze time... and then app suddenly crashes and you have to start over. 3 times still not finished. Trash app trash company.
Can't verify account on android. Have to call a jp number to verify, but it hung on me immediately after getting connected. The iOS app has the ability to send sms to a US number, which is lacking in the android version. All in all, a useless app yet it's a must to buy tickets...
App keeps freezing and crashing. Has terrible UI and some prompts don't work and I can't register because it keeps saying my caller ID is hidden. Even though my caller ID is not hidden. Cannot get tickets to my favorite artist because of this terrible made ticketing app.
Required for a concert tomorrow, but just keeps crashing. When I get to next steps app becomes unresponsive. Even though I select English it keeps switching to japanese. A really garbage experience I wish I wasn't forced to use
AnyPASS is a kind of Kafkaesque nightmare, yet somehow comedic as you sign up for an anyPASS account and try to figure out what password is acceptable, then they pass you off to +ID to create another account (which ironically touts itself as the one ID you need for everything) before you can receive a ticket. Sigh. I half expected it to ask me for a fax number. It does work, but the UI is horrible.
The worst registration method! Caller ID is turned on yet call wont go through. I am being charged every single time I dialled the Japanese number although it always just hangs up. I am going to be billed for nothing! Please fix this!!
Logging in and signing up using android phone with this app is really terrible. I managed to verify my PH phone number on Android 13 and completed the signup process, however when i was about to transfer it to other versions of android including android 13, it always says caller id is not on. YOU SHOULD TAKE TIME TO ADDRESS AND FIX THESE ISSUES IN ANDROID APP. IT'S VERY VERY UNSTABLE.
Incredibly frustrating. The user interface is cluttered and confusing, making it difficult to navigate even basic features. Setting up my account took much longer than it should have due to poor instructions and unclear prompts.
We paid an enormous amount for concert tickets not to have such a horrible experience with an app like this. 1 hour in and I couldn't even register an account. Can we just use normal paper ticket instead?
Bought tickets from Stubhub several months before the event and I guess this is the system used in Japan, and it is dogpoop just like stubhub. There should be a clause stating once you release your tickets there's no take backs. We traveled to another country to try and enjoy one of our favorite bands and the person who put the tickets up for sale took it back and did not release it. That sucks on multiple fronts. These companies should be banned or change their policy.
i have unsuccessfully tried to register my mobile number at least 3x, calling an international number, not knowing if it will be charged or not, is this a scam? my caller id notif has ALWAYS been turned on, i restarted my phone and all, but still could not register. I'm an android user btw. this app sucks.
App is very difficult to use. There is no English translation for verification via call. Charge for international call is very expensive and yet registration is still unsuccessful.
This app is completely exploitative and useless. Ticket vendors need to go back to analog methods. 1 wake up, 2 get real people to handle your customer support and 3 provide alternative analog solutions when things dont fully support the digital auhoritatarion nightmare your company contributes to.
Horrible experience! It keeps on making me call internationally and then still getting the error that the certification has failed even if I already enabled the caller ID.
