APCOA Connect – Parking

A pretty useless app that could end up costing you a lot of money. Apcoa are a corporation like the mafia, they don't recognise their app is useless at times and if it goes wrong you're dealt with a fine. Don't bother sending them a message through the app, you'll have no record. It doesn't always pick up your car so although it's inconvenient use the machines on site.

Why aren't these apps tested? I have a stock pixel 9 phone. Popular modern standard phone. I park, download app, add car, add card. standard stuff. The Buy Now option is greyed out. Can't purchase parking. Completely standard transaction; don't have app, get app, add car, add card, try and purchase and can't. No errors, no timeouts just can't buy parking. So much better than the old parking machines!

An actual adult said this was OK to release! Unable to register but I could on an older Android version, takes Google Pay (just) but only after you've added a card anyway. Now I can't login anymore. The user interface looks like it was designed by a child. This is on version 9.2. Imagine what the previous versions must have been like!

Probably the worst app I have ever used. Whoever designed this app clearly has no idea on the customer experience and trying to make it smooth and simple to purchase parking. It's an incentive to find a different place to park with a different parking provider. I lost count of the number of steps needed and the fact you need to log in to your banking app to validate a £1.20 payment !!! The fact that you need to do this several times just rubs salt in the wound. Then they charge an admin fee!!

Do you want to try and pay for parking on multiple occasions, only for it to fail to process repeatedly and drive you insane? Then this is the app for you. I've waited for delayed trains, completed the journey, walked to a separate location, and still not had the easy and convenient process complete (for which they charge you a laughable convenience fee for the privilege)

Unable to complete registration process on app, in advance of using the car park. After registering details, accepting t&cs the sceen goes blank and I am unable to do anything else in the app. If i close and reopen the app and try to log in, the app doesn't register my account and i am forced to re-register only to return to the same blank screen. Help!

Terrible. not mainstream but friend reassured parking would be ok. Spent first 30 minutes of Xmas night out downloading app. 3rd time lucky (I thought) went through payment process, didnt link to Gpay so entered card details (twice) and,eventually, made payment receiving message on screen process had been completed. 3 weeks later have received letter advising I've not made payment (my bank shows to be true but not for want of trying) and demand for£100 being made!!!! No pisitives at all.

Without a doubt one of the worst and buggiest app I've ever been forced to use. Despite lots of other places using RingGo or PayByMobile, having to use this app is a stupid decision. Attempted three times to register it on the day I needed to park and it NEVER registered me, and STILL hasn't! It's also now gone from showing the app background to a completely grey screen. Absolutely useless!

Maybe I'm doing something very different to everyone else, or just lucky, but I've had no problems at all with the app. I've used it several times for parking next to my office, booked the session for my car, paid, and later downloaded the receipt. It seems to work perfectly for me.

Rubbish parking app. I sometimes park for work and sometimes personal use, I need to be able to add both my personal and business cards to the payment methods, but it only lets me keep one. What's the point of having an app if you still need to carry a card? Not impressed

Much worse than useless, have to log in again when never logged out, have to re-enter card details, and then won't even work when all that's done. Such a waste of time I ended up using the machines, which were also very poor, suggesting a totally wrong entry time despite the ANPR.

logged me out now unable to log in. tried several times, reset password and still unable to log in. eventually went on the website instead logged in there ok. took me longer faffing with this app than I'd actually parked. I guess it's a tactic to put some people off being able to pay so they get the fines. annoying hospitals use this company leaving you with no option.

App-only parking with no machine. Took ~20 minutes to download and set up, card declined twice. Arrived at 09:52, was actively trying to pay by 11:40, left at 11:55 — just over 2 hours total — yet charged for 4 hours. Did not overstay. The app’s delays pushed me into a higher tariff. Completely unacceptable, especially at essential public locations like hospitals. Very unpleasant experience.

I have registered twice now as I couldn't get it to work the last time I parked or again this time. So this time I registered again with another email address & although it let me set up an account each time, when I went to sign in it said it didn't recognise my details. It's a useless app!!

UPDATE. Since the recent update thus app remains a disgrace. Tried to pay this morning. App would reset every time I went to confirm payment in tbe banking app. afrer trying for 15mins I ended up paying at the tkt machine and displaying the ticket. POINTLESS Must be a serious contender for the most out dated app. Payment authorisation now only via a banking app with the text option no longer offered. NIGHTMARE at rural stations with poor Internet access that doesn't support proper app use.

Hi. This app has totally gone down hill, I have used for a long time, now I am told enter my card, which yesterday (30 Nov) whilst trying to catch a train at Sidcup. Four attempts, just sits there with little wheel going round, I then had to run a good 800 yard over two bridges up a flight of stairs to find pay machine with in the 20 minute window. At 71 it is not easy. Please please sort this App. I personally believe the problem lays with Android 16 and app, works on other android phones

Absolutely dire app. Cannot add a payment method to it as I have to approve the £0.00 charge in any of my banking apps which is fine. But then when I return to this app the approval screen has disappeared and a please wait loading screen over add a card page just swirls round and no card added. Rubbish.

absolute piss take, charging an extra fee for parking for "convenience charge" , it should be clearly visible in the app BEFORE you have to pay, i now put on false plates for whipps cross hospital before i enter the car park! No other choice, preferred Ringo parking, was much more transparent!

Would give this zero stars if I could. Cannot log in. Able to log in to website, but unable to log in to app. Total rubbish (and I got fined for not paying recently, when machine, app AND website didn't take payments.) Shocking app, uninstalling cos what's the point?!

Use this app pretty much daily and usually it's fine. Today however went to pay for parking needed to refresh my payment details. After some panicked moments it finally let me setup my existing card but then will would not let me proceed without killing the app and restarting it. This app always requires bank authorisation which is very frustrating and that's EVERY time you park
