App Lock - Lock Apps, Password

this is a good app with one fatal flaw: on phone restart (on an S23) the app takes a long time to load and become active, leaving all the apps that it's supposed to be locking open and vulnerable. So, all someone has to do (if they can open your screen lock) is to restart your phone and boom, they have full access for at least a minute or three. Fix this issue and I'd pay y'all good money for a Pro version!

Best app locker so far!! Used so many app lockers in the past and they all had one thing in common is that they cannot lock the setting app on my samsung phone or tablet. X locks does lock the settings. If you can't lock the settings app, then it is easy to defeat any app locker. This is on the free version. This will be 5 stars as long as X Lock makes sure it can continue to lock the setting app on the phones or tablets.

I just downloaded it, but so far it has an easy to use and understand interface and walls you through step by step to set up the minimal security you want. Once you've finished setting things up initially, you can look through the app and make changes as you'd prefer. They have lots of useful options and it's all free as long as you don't mind occasional ads. I'll update after a while once I've used it a while with more info

Big issues: If I go into a locked app, it becomes 'unlocked' despite still being under protection. I have to go into this app, unlock, then lock it again. There seems to be a way to bypass the lock, by clicking on things that will take you to the other app(s). For example: Clicking on weather, then more, will bring up the browser (that I locked) and won't request unlocking. There is then free access. In the end I had to uninstall. The one app I wanted locked was gotten into.

very useful and is perfect for what i need. love that you can disguise the app icon and not only does it change the icon, but also the app name and the notification banner message! impressed with the attention to detail there. the one thing i wish i could do was turn off the notification banner, personally i just don't like it cluttering up notifications, but i can just turn that off in my phone's settings so it's not too big of a deal.

This app is nice and easy to manage. A+ for no ads 👍⭐. It would be better if there are other features, for example, labels or groups, for example, "games", "editing tools", or "music." Same goes for the Vault, besides selecting where the photos came from, have labels, like "my vacation" or "family pictures" or "annual meeting." These features gives the app some sort of organization styles.

useful to lock essential apps. but lately the lock suddenly prompts to unlock another app while using a different one. e.g., prompts to open messaging (unused) while scrolling thru facebook (currently used). lock also seemed to be overrun by very intrusive lazada and shopee ads/app. version is updated but still has issues.

Nice app, but slow to lock Gmail, allowing viewing of email contents for a few seconds before locking after I get pass my phone's lock screen. Very insecure for 2 factor verification!! Edit: found the issue when it locks Gmail quickly vs when it takes a few seconds. Closing Gmail (e.g., closing all open apps, or just Gmail) = a lag in locking it after turning my phone on and unlocking it. But, if I keep Gmail open and turn off my phone, it locks Gmail very quickly after turning phone back on

I'm revising this review for the third time it's gotten worse. All of my apps that I have previously had locked are unlocked. I've tried everything I know I restarted my phone which seemed to fix it at first but it's still doing it now. The developers reply makes no sense to me There's no setting like that in settings and I don't know how to fix it. I need to find another one that works and uninstall this.

so far so good, tired of someone accessing my phone and then trying to make me feel like I'm crazy, not that I'm not, don't need any help, JK on the crazy, at least I think I am. just tired of someone so interested in my boring life. thank you AppLock developers

incredibly useful, as someone with strict parents omg I love this app!!you can change the app icon and name..!! also the fact it can take pictures of someone when they try to go through your phone is so cool and even better when you have a parent who says stuff like "I don't go through your stuff" lmao

Can't change password if you forget. I locked my phone settings and locked Google Play with the app. Can't access settings of this app (to change the password) without the password. I thought I could use my email to reset the password, but that wasn't possible, either. (Don't worry, I entrusted the password to a family member.) And your ads contain porn. Why would you do this to us?

$19.99 per year for an app that does less and has fewer options than similar apps that cost $3.99 for life. Even PlayPass apps have more options than this app does and doesn't cost me any extra. It just doesn't make any sense.

wow this app is so great I just downloaded it today I need to keep extra protection on my phone from anyone trying to get it being nosy looking at my personal and private information this app has it all my phone and apps get all the protection now it's doubled since using this app and it's so easy to always lock unlock and change up on passwords pins patterns everything IT DOES EVERYTHING HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOAD NOW 👀💯😉😀😃😄😁😏🫡🧐

It was very good I wanted an app that locked. because I wanted my bad habits to stop . that's why I don't know what is the app lock password 🔑 . I set the password by another person 😊

Great op.It does exactly what it's supposed to do.Lock all your apps when you exit the app or switch to another app screen It does not lock every five seconds between switching screens of the same app like some other app lockers due, I hate those are so annoying.You could barely touch two keys without it.Locking up on you and interrupting what you're doing every five seconds.This does not do that.It's wonderful. i even dare to say this is the best.One of its kind released so far made up to date.

This is the strongest app ever used is fast and the finger print is very simple to set don't have ads and It don't forget to lock your apps ,is always upto date,is perfect

very good but I can't find the secure folder on my s25. that is locked too! please help me because basically I have to go over 2 layers of lock. assistance

I've tried to like this app I really did. But after constantly getting locked out because I couldn't remember my password nor read my fingerprint and never allowed me to use my pattern lock that was the last straw. In 10mins this morning I was locked out 3x times

Extreme app lock app. Purchased and used over 2 years now without a single issue. Worth every penny.
