A great option to stream when you don't own a smart television.

I had to replace my old Chromecast and the new one was fabulous until the remote died after one year. I couldn't get any help with a repair or replacement! I never got the return shipping label or help I needed. Zilch! Ending the product was really a giant mistake!!

I just install and open it. not even started and already has ads. If you want, let's say "Netflix" it asks you to install it although it is already installed, it looks fishy. DO NOT INSTALL THIS TRAP!!!!!!!

Fyi: google play music has been discontinued for years and replaced with youtube music which i see is available. maybe take google play music off the catalog.

gives as free for one voluntary ad then and for 5 stars. I'll be back to change my reading if there are any problems

App does what is supposed to and though everyone is freaking out about them giving you the ad free version for watching one 30 second ad, it will only give you this ad free version for 24 hours then it's back to being an app with ads. Now whether they make it that you can continue the ad free version every time you decide to use the app by watching one 30 second video I'll find out in 24 hrs, regardless any apps still could have ads so it wouldn't matter that this one doesn't. Will see...

The applications for Chromecast is alright and work quite well...haven't downloaded everything yet, but will download what my cellphone has the right capabilities to run from my phone to Chromecast. It would be awesome if a few more applications could be offered in the form of an updated version of applications available for Chromecast. Just a thought ...use it or.....

Was difficult to set chromecast up at first, being a first time user but google helped me with that. Once set up it was awesome, no problems with it when watching Netflix, Neon etc. Its actually fast to load and is just wonderful to watch and is convenient thanks to this app. Everything just comes through chromecast. I can watch my favourite movies and t.v series all through getting this app. Thank you.

Actually does what it says it does. And the best part is there's an ad free option. But besides the fact that what makes it free is giving them a review, I have to say it does what it says it does. it allows you to find apps that are compatible with Chromecast and even allows you to cast through the app itself. Great job developers!

Recently Added YouTube TV app and casted it to my big screen in just a few minutes. Not one single issue; I was expecting a hassle. Just followed clearly written instructions and poof! It was casting to my TV. Kept my cable company only for internet, lowering my monthly cable bill to about $38 from $250. As a bonus, got three months free on YouTube TV when I signed up. When it does kick in, my bill will be about $54. You do the math. Same channels, too!!

Good App. Initial setup is a bit hard. Problem solved by contacting Google support. It is excellent being able to see a phone screen on a large TV. Works on all HDMI TVs even non smart TVs. Device is worth buying for using with the App. Would be good if Chromecast devices used USB power or a built in battery then when changing TVs don't have to find extra power points for the wall socket power adapter.

This app would not work casting onto my tv. I used to be sble to chromecast from my laptop but you changed it so i have to install on a phone. This app changed all my app icons to xxlg and now I can't get them to the original size of small. Very frustrating . I tried uninstalling the app no luck Tried rebooting my phone no luck. If some one can help me that would be GREAT

Lots of cool stuff on this app! The first app that I downloaded was the TV app, and I really like that app! Lots of great news with actual live feed, (not rebroadcast like Pluto) I use it to mirror cast so I can basically channel surf. And it never drops signal like other apps do. And that was my very first download from the Chromecast app!? Ha! Good stuff!

A very unique and handy guide to Chromecast applications. The list of applications grows daily and this guide helps you keep up to date. The ads can be removed by simply giving a rating. I highly recommend giving this a try if you own a Chromecast or used the built in Chromecast support on an Android device.

Still exploring, but I found the "disable ads for free" option; no gimmick, no bs, just outright FREE ad removal without any strings attached shockingly 🤯. So I must say absolutely fantastic job Dev's, I am leaving this review specifically for that reason!! So thank you!!

What I really like is it works on both my Vizio Smart TV and my Sony Blu Ray Home Theatre System. But my Theatre System has better sound so that's what I use mostly and the hell with the tv's built-in apps and it's limited app store. It's also powered by Yahoo search engine and I'm not that fond of that system either but it'll do in a crunch but that hasn't happened yet.

Your response to that person was that the app has to be opened x amount of time install for at least a week before you guys ask for a reading. However I just downloaded your app went straight to a bunch of ads telling me to download all these apps to use on Chromecast which are already on my phone and it doesn't recognize that they are already installed. second as soon as I back out of all of that you asked for a 5-star rating mind you this is not been on my phone more than 3 minutes.
