Area Codes

This rating isn't so much for the function or usability of the app itself. It used to have an in-app purchase option to be rid of ads, which I bought. Now, it doesn't seem to offer it nor does it recognize my previous purchase. One main reason I'm always leery of in-app purchases. EDITED TO ADD: So, developer replied, saying I wasn't mistaken, but they got rid of the paid option because (and I quote) "Google Play users don't like to pay." Nice.

Love this app. When I get a phone call, or a text message, and I get plenty, I use this app to find out where the call or message came from. Coupled with another app I find out of they are either a tekemarketer or if its a Spam/Unsafe number. No pop up ads and no ads at all infact. Safe and very reliable app.

Excellent! One more feature would be nice. The prefix of the 7 digit phone number, would narrow the origin of an incoming call, down to an exchange area or city. This would be worth 5 stars, as some area codes serve vast areas, even entire states.

This app does what it's supposed to do. I give 5 stars despite having the ads at the bottom of the page. This is because the ads are not annoying. I mean they do not pop up, cover the screen, or otherwise get in your way as you use the app like the ads in most apps do.

I always use this app. Ive had this app on my last 4 or 5 phones. Great to have when you get strange calls that youre curious about. The ads are not a problem. They only run inside the app, you dont get nonstop notifications all day and night.

I get a lot of spam calls and using this app helps me to quickly check out where the call is coming from so I can decide whether to block the call or not. This app has incredibly fast response Tim. Absolutely no wait time.

I've had this app. for 5 years. It is very useful for looking up calls location originations; I love the new feature of finding the area codes of cities, based on city name. Thank you, Developer, for all the useful information you provide.

Like everyone else, I receive several calls a week from numbers I don't recognize. This app allows me to quickly see the area where the call originated...very helpful!

It's always fun to look up where my spam calls come from. It's suprising I have so many friends from different areas of the country trying to look out for me. Oh and the app is very easy to use as well.

It's the best app I installed on my phone. I can look up the area that's calling while I havn't pk up the phone and see if I know anyone from there. I don't have to be deal with scamers also, or tellamaketers 😘

Rock solid for years. Simple and easy to use. Works well looking up location(s) given area code, or area code(s) given location.

seriously, an app that contains nothing but a look up table has advertising? and the advertising is intrusive! I wrote my own version of this app, wow took me all of fifteen minutes and no more adverts. You guys are a joke.

Use it frequently to check unknown callers. Unfortunately telemarketers can somehow manage to use a local area code to defeat my ability to accurately screen incoming calls.

Very good app. Can search by city or by area code. We wish more cities can be included under each area code. Would score 4/5.

Every time I put an Area Code in, the app gives me the name of a city. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes simplicity is perfection

Every time I have needed to find out where a call was generated from, I always use your app. It has always been accurate and fast. I highly recommend.

It is awesome I love it. The way I use it is so easy and fun I like using it to mess around with it is just something I use when I get a match on a dating app to see what state they live in just installed it to my laptop

Nice straight forward, easy to use application! I can't find the app in the app drawer. I have a Samsung Galaxy a10e. I keep trying to use the app and it keeps asking me to rate it so here it is. One star! The app asked us to review it again!

I absolutely love this app! I've been using it for years. Very simple. Does exactly what it's supposed to do...identify area codes. It's really helpful, especially with the continuous rise of spam/scam calls.
