One of the few good mobile games in the 2020s, and one of the best tower defenses out there- and still has constant updates. Been playing for about 2 1/2 years with only one complaint: Auto-redeploy not always being consistent. However, I can look past it with how many characters, modes, mechanics and lore/story the game has. It'll take years to run out of things to do. Warning though, early-game you will miss out on a lot of things due to not being strong enough or having enough resources saved

I've been playing this game for 5 years, and I can easily say it's one of my all time favorites. Few games, or even films, tackle the subjects and themes Arknights does with this level of thoughtfulness and maturity. Every event is compelling, the cast is varied and complex, and the story and worldbuilding stand a cut above any of its contemporaries. It deserves all the support and recognition it can get. If you like political Sci Fi/fantasy and visual novels, I can't recommend it enough.

Been playing this game for 6 years now and don't regret any second of playtime. Even if you aren't the best at tower defense, there's a lot to love in this game and a dedicated fan base that makes helpful guides to get you through each stage. incredible story in both main plot and events and the characters are fun and feel fresh despite there being so many.

One of my favorite games! most people might not like the tower defense aspect of this game, but it's very engaging! Each side story seems to have a different mechanic in it, so you can look for something new each event. these mechanics go well the story, Which is really amazing. You don't need the most OP characters of the highest ranks to play, either. There are plenty of characters who are lower ranks who are amazing. Characters are also very amazingly designed. Please give this game a try!!!

Been playing two years solid. Likable characters, compelling story, involved gameplay, resource management, generous rewards, and a store that's not in your face, just available if you want it. Max characters are possible without ever spending a dime. I payed monthly for over a year, but it doesn't hurt other players or leave them behind, but supports them instead even without the need to friend players. Any one of these would make this a good mobile game, but it does them all better than others

This is literally the steepest learning curve for me for a game. but... i love pain I guess? I arrived here late but, just adding my rating. I like that it feels like I'm collecting art pieces when I buy a skin. At first I needed help every level but now I can clear a whole chapters normal levels by myself. 🥹 The worldbuilding is really the highlight of this game, tbh. They built a unique and immersive videogame setting within the constraints of 2D images. The story then enriches the world.

It's a really great game if you're into tower defense or similar genres. I'll start positive - It's a really nice, well refined and mechanically strong TD with an absolute wealth of great content. The endgame is strong, with several challenging game modes that give ample opportunity to test yourself, and a really fun roguelite mode that forces you to play under restrictions and get creative with strategies. And the negative - The early game is a bit weak, and it takes time to get into.

Arknights is probably my favorite gacha game to play. As a tower defense game, you get tons of options. Every character in this game is wonderfully drawn with voice lines and minor interactions. There are eight character classes but many of them play differently with different passives and skills. Also I think the best part, it's non-competitive. You're only clearing stages to finish the story and collect operators. Though some may not enjoy a game without PvP, that's not the case for me.

This is an amazing game, one of my favorite worlds and stories overall across media, and the gameplay is great too! Arknights means a lot to me. Though I've been having a problem with Integrated Strategies lately, where the game crashes A LOT. The latest theme is my favorite but it seems I can hardly play it, and this is my favorite mode. I'm not sure if this is a known issue, so I thought I should bring it up and wasn't sure where to do so!

Arknights as a tower defense/resource management game is quite a lot of fun. So far the gacha isn't overbearing and I have yet to hit a point where I couldn't clear a mission by simply rethinking my strategy. Overall, I think this is a great game. That being said, it's dragged down by a low quality English translation (you will see typos, wrong words, missing words, etc. in the earliest missions). This makes a bad impression on new players. Yostar needs better English editors/translators.

This game is so balanced and well made, there is nothing bad to say about it. Very generous. Has a roguelite mode that requires no stamina/cooldown with endless replay value. Does require brainwork on tactical placing of units with specific skills needed for each level, and does require grinding for items to craft in order to upgrade units, but is straightforward, easy to do and understand. All its units matter and have stories and lore and even weaker ones can be more useful. I love it.

I got into this after seeing hype on social media and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint. The story is fun to play and read, giving you plenty of good lore and characters. The levels are fun and challenging to see just how you'll make the perfect strat. Also the recruitment for characters is relatively fair and it's not impossible to farm for the necessary resources. So yes, give it a try, it's fun and not gonna try to cheat you out of money.

Very well-made, gameplay, character design, storyline, economy, all top-tier quality. I wish the mechanics data can be more explicit, for example, how different spells work (both operators and bosses'). Instead of saying attack speed is "slow" or "slightly increased", why not just give the actual numbers. Also you cant see skills AoE in skill level up window, only during combat, which sometimes is annoying to try to remember. The other thing is grinding upgrade materials is very sanity-consuming

Excellent game with excellent customer support. recently I was scared I would lose my account due to an issue, and I emailed them. Not only did I get a Human response in less than an hour, but it was also some of the most helpful customer support ever. The gatcha elements are prominent, but having bad operators is overcomable with strategy. Battles are short and sweet, and the storyline has been engaging the whole time. I will be playing for a while to come, and I can't wait for Endfield.

Been playing this game for a little over a year. Got some friends playing it and we love it. There's so many characters to unlock, and so many different strategies that the mechanics and characters allow you to do. Fun game, helpful community with many videos on youtube if you ever get stuck. Devs are pretty generous, & the gacha system (while not perfect) has its upsides when compared to other Gacha games like Genshin. Even if your luck is bad, you don't need max rarity ops, so its not pay2win.

Great story, amazing art style, even characters with few lines show their personality and are well writen. Gacha rates are bad, but its not an issue. This is a true strategy game where having a party full of OP units doesn't help, you need to think of your team as a whole. Game has auto play for things you've completed, so grinding isn't a chore, just takes a few minutes of your time. Then if you want more, they've been adding game modes that don't use stamina!

Its a great game, love the characters and how the higher ranked operators aren't over powered. It makes 3 and 4 star operators useful as well. The stages and combat are great too, because its not stand-still like Fire Emblem and you have to change your strategy as the stage progresses. The only problem I have is the stamina consumtion, it is too high. It makes things like grinding for money more difficult than it should be. If it were fixed, my review would be 5 star

Amazing game. I've been playing since launch but only got around to review it now. Definitely f2p, the devs are generous, freebies are given every event or so. The gameplay is unique, fun and addicting. The game can be beaten with just low rarity units (you can borrow your friend's unit if you want tho). The skill required for the harder contents is high but never impossible. The gacha system is what it is. Pity is at ~60 pulls. You may have to cope with not getting the unit you want sometimes.

A buddy of mine finally got me to commit to playing this, and I honestly have no regrets. There's a LOT of story, so you're not getting bored. The game is more about skill than having busted characters (though obviously those help). It does require grinding to improve your units, but it's worth doing. Best of all, it doesn't rely on fanservice, and for the little times there is, the characters have reasonable bodies and spines that aren't at odd angles. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Arknights is a variation of a tower defense game with a well-built world and good story. I'm hooked, and you probably will be too if you like a good story with strategic gameplay. It still has many of the mobile game "features" like a limited play resource and loot boxes, but it seems to me that these will only slow down progression (sometimes significantly), and you are not blocked if you do not pay.
