Utterly useless app. To spend your points you have to convert them to vouchers, which the app keeps telling me. The problem is, there is no button anywhere in the app to actually convert them to vouchers. So it's completely impossible to use your points as you simply can't create the vouchers needed to spend your points, there is no button to do it! You then just lose all your points as they expire. A total waste of time. Asda should just pull the app as it's utterly pointless.

Absolutely pointless having this app any longer! This point last year we were able to build up good amounts towards Christmas saver as we had worked on missions etc throughout the year. This year the missions etc have been pointless, not applicable and mere pennies. Have stopped shopping in my local Asda as often and started to use other shopping apps from other well known shops. Asda need to sort this out.

Doesn't seem worth it anymore. I haven't had anything add to my cashpot since July, despite shopping with Asda almost weekly and always scanning the app. I think it's because what I buy doesn't achieve the "milestones". I used to get a pound off here and there, but I've been stuck on 66p for months.

it's not been adding my rewards for literal months! I've checked if it needs an update and it doesn't. I keep forgetting to call customer service, because I've had a baby, but in the hope it works I still scan it every time I'm in Asda and it never works. I go at least 3 times a month and I've had no rewards since DECEMBER 2024, that's the last time I was able to use a voucher and I started getting expired cashpot notifications in June this year. Thinking it's been done on purpose tbh.

I'm having the same problem as every body else, and my mom also has the same problem the app isn't working anymore, it worked in the beginning and it was great, but now it doesn't work anymore. I am scanning every time I shop, but my rewards aren't adding up or showing and I am not being offered any coupons and my reward pennies are just being taken away because I can't convert them to a coupon, because I am not getting any more rewards every time I scan it.

App is easy and simple to use. Discounts and offers/milestones aren't as good as when it first launched. (used to get £5 milestones), but still rewarding. Only issue I have is the consistency with the scan and play promos, on more then one occasion I have scanned (and made sure it's shown up on the self checkouts), payed and left, for the promo pop up not to show and offer a prize which is frustrating.

Not great. Unfortunately the price hikes overule any rewards receipted. I.e. if I buy our standard 'go to' products they have increased over 100% in price in months. The rewards app constantly just gives you £60p rewards when the price increases within a matter of months (sometimes just a couple weeks) equate to far more than that. It's not really an incentive at all unfortunately.

This app went downhill fast... I used to have an incentive to shop at ASDA due to the amount of missions and challenges that were within the app. At first, it worked well, it was even causing competition for customers against other stores like Morrisons and Tesco. Over time the missions stopped changing, the challenges dried up and other than very few select offers, the app basically became an empty shell of itself. I used to encourage others to use Rewards but now I tell them don't use it.

Pointless app! You literally get nothing in return for your loyalty. The app used to have weekly missions were you could build your "cashpot", but now they've all been removed. Nowadays you're lucky to get a single coupon for 50p off something. Asda needs to take a note from Tesco Clubcard and Sainsbury's Nectar.. you get rewarded for every single shop (points), and discounts off 100s of items each time you shop.

I can no longer log into the app. The website won't load missions. I use Android and Chrome is my default browser already (some people have cited this as a fix). There is only a phone number on the website and that's no good for me. Inaccessible and frustrating! Update: developer response is useless.

The worst rewards app I have had the unfortunate experience of downloading. Basically you scan your rewards at the time of going through payment and nothing.. zilch.. a complete waste of energy and time. Rewards really... even your rewards vending machine doesn'work. I have been to the same store each week for months only to find the same error message on the machine. Asda need to look at what it is they are trying to do, as you certainly DO NOT Reward your customers in any way shape or form.

Had absolutely nothing added to the pot for weeks and when I do it's rarely more than £1 . There's so few missions and they're highly specific (the magazine one for instance. excludes almost all magazines) or about alcohol. broader missions would be great, like we once had. 2 years ago I was able to use my cashpot to pay for my whole Xmas shop. this year just gone I managed to get a whole £10 off (after saving all year). however the random vouchers can be good. got a £5 off your shop voucher.

This app feels like a complete waste of time. When there was BlueLight integration, the rewards would build up steadily. Now it feels like the amount I pay in store has doubled (for a single person, no change in items, no extras) and my rewards have stopped. Missions mean nothing: there a never items that are relevant to me and any notifications I get to get bonuses are about spending on items I don't need or applying for credit cards I don't need or want.

ASDA rewards? interesting phrase! used to actually gain points from your weekly shopping which could be used towards shopping, even when it was 25p per £50 spent, it still added up. Now, there are suitable missions, I currently have "£1 when I buy 2 selected magazines", no other missions. used to shop at adsa as at least there as a reward for the higher price, now dont bother. I now go to Aldi there are no bonus schemes but is much cheaper and still a decent range of products.

It's outrageously annoying to have to sign in with two factor authentication every time you want to use the app. It doesn't even store your login details! It's just a hassle for the few pennies you can collect on discounts. Every other major supermarket has a much better app! Just to reply, NO, there is no box you can select to remember your login details...

App logged me out and will not let me log back in. Just gives an error message every time. It's been months and still no fix. EDIT: You can apparently only log in if you use chrome or Samsung internet. I disabled chrome as I use a different browser but had to re-enable it to log in. Because it's been so long since I could get in my cashpot has expired. The app works fine once you're in but it's a hassle to log in if you don't use your phone's pre-installed browser.

previous rating was a 1 due to not being given missons or anything at all for months on end abruptly after having consistent ones. This update is still a 1 because while I am not being given a mission it is literally just the one and it's on things I don't even buy. Then there is the 10% back on fruit and veg IN STORE ONLY, I am disabled and strictly do shopping online only so I'm instantly missing out. Well done asda you've just lost out on sales to other supermarkets because of this.

I loved the app when it first came out. There was a good array of offers, missions, and coupons. I've had nothing for months. The first mission to show on the app in at least 6 months was to buy nappies... I don't have children. I used to get a weird satisfaction out of completing the missions and the coupons were great. The app is now a waste of marketing money and a waste of time as a consumer. I genuinely shop at Asda less as a result.

App has stopped working for months now. It registers the scan and it gives no rewards. Balance has been zero from countless shops. I'm guessing they've dumped the app and not told anyone. Looks like other shoppers have found same thing. This is only one of the many reasons I barely shop at Asda now; only when I really have to. Their responses to others claim you have to shop in certain categories and not all swipes will reward. Not true, would always get something, even a couple of pence.

The "rewards" app that no longer rewards well! The app itself is easy to use, just open & scan the barcode. The incentives on the app are no longer the same though & it's more difficult to accrue any points to convert in to vouchers. I've had 47p accrued for months now & I've been alerted that my 47p is due to expire. When Asda had the "star products" the earning potential was so much better and it was easier for me as a reward app user to be able to generate vouchers for £10+ off shopping.
