Fix your app! Until it's fixed people who are photisensitive don't use it. When you click shop and the side menu comes up, when you scroll it glitches and flashes. Makes me feel ill so I can't use the app so I havnt been able to shop there for ages use to it easier being the app (when it works properly) than the website. I had a call from asda a few months ago asking why I hadn't shopped there awhile, they said they would fix the app, they havnt so not sure if that was actually asda
If I could give this app zero stars, I would! It crashes constantly and kicks you off a lot as well! U0DATE I didn't think this app could get any worse but apparently I was wrong! I've just been blocked for about the 10th time just for trying to sign in! My advice, don't waste your time, I'm constantly deleting and downloading it again to try to get it working but no more. I think I'll stick with another well known supermarket in future
Zero stars if I could. App has been buggy and so very slow for ages now (even on my S22 Ultra), but now the app won't even open. It just quits instantly. The web version is also slow and rubbish. Done with this, been using asda deliveries for years but going to switch to tesco or whichever supermarket has an online ordering system that actually works.
Every time asda "improve" the app they seem to make it worse. Search results are less relevant than ever before! Sometimes it doesn't give you any search results and just sponsored products and "next page". When clicking in a mix and match offer (eg pizza deal) it only shows a few items or none at all. If asda want loyal customers shopping elsewhere this is definitely the way to do it.
This app used to be great before the updated it. I loved the feature where you could scan the barcodes to find products online. but now, they've reformatted it and it looks and functions terribly. It keeps glitching and will no longer allow you to use it without signing in. I refuse as I don't want the products I see restricted to what my local store has, in which it does when you sign in. Have now uninstalled and will only reinstall if the app can function like it used to. very disappointed.
Asda has a serious problem with checking out online orders, both on the app and web browser. Saved payment cards no longer work, the only way to checkout is to enter a new payment card every time you checkout. It's not a new problem and I've lost delivery slots on more than one occasion because I couldn't pay before the checkout deadline. As for the app, it's horribly slow, multibuy links do not work, searches will only show 2 of 15 results, etc, etc.
Having used the Asda online or app since probably 2005 I can honestly say the way the app is, is worse than it was in 2005. It's horrendous, you have to keep adding your credit , Debit card to pay, and now I go in and I can't even amend my order Anymore , even though i'm within my time limit. you will be losing a lot of faithful customers.If you do not sort this out soon , because i'm at my wit's end now!!
Edit: it is not acceptable to restart the process just because you navigate away from the app. I did not lose connectivity. Ffs New ads suck. When searching for a product, your products show up, then a split second later an ad appears in items place. The delay is perfectly timed so you click the ad and not your product. Get rid of it or make it better.
Home page is far too long with too many things on it, impossible to find what you're looking for. Check out too glitchy, had to restart so many times I lost my slot and couldn't rebook it, so had to book one at a really inconvenient time. App not really intuitive. Not got any better: there's so many substitutions - I had an order with 39 items tonight, there were 9 substitutions. There's always about that many. And today their system is down so I have to request all of those refunds manually.
Been glitchy for several months now, If you don't book a slot before you add items to your basket, it clears your basket when you book, even though you are not needing to change which shop, which it claims you need to every time. Then you try to save your trolley, it doesn't save it. It's slow and you have to scroll through lots of irrelevant items when searching. If you add items to your basket and log in on another device, they won't be there. Previous orders regularly disappear. Nightmare!
It no longer works since the update! I can be sat for over 10 minutes trying to add something to the basket. Every time I press "Add," it doesn't add the product, just loads, and then goes back to "add." I've also had issues with booking a slot. The pop-up message of "book a slot" just keeps appearing every time I try and click on something, even when I've got a slot booked. No longer useable!
Another poor attempt at an app by ASDA. Every time I open it it flashes around preventing me from doing anything for at least a limited before it finally settles. Then I try to search for something and it flashes again and clears my search. Text is so small it's hard to read yet there is no option to change font size. I go on the app to look for something, get annoyed and go elsewhere. Fix your app ASDA and maybe customers will buy from you as everytime it screws up I go elsewhere.
Being housebound I rely on using shopping apps to get my shopping done. I was made aware of a big update to the app which was supposed to make it easier and better for us to use. I have a problem already though, I have a trolley full of things I need to buy, no food in the house and it won't allow me to book a delivery slot. Apparently every slot is unavailable, and I'm told to refresh the page and try again..! I'm really getting angry 😠 😡 when you keep messing up what's working perfectly.
This used to be one of the best grocery store apps. Since the last two updates it has become unusable. It no longer allows you to amend an order , frequently crashes and when starting a new order the selctions are often unreponsive. When as selecting products it also says avaialable and then they are not when you check out. Oct 25. Awful app won't allow me to amend an order. After months of issues I've cancelled my delivery pass and will switch to Tesco
Okay fine, I'm done. This is absolutely inexcusable now. Nothing works, offers don't work, multi-buy click-throughs don't work, I can still only browse 15 items at a time, it takes multiple attempts just to pay & NOW I can't even get into the rewards app?! You win, ASDA, I'm moving on
App has stopped working. Can't amend orders, can't book new slots, can't change date, time or address of slot, can't track driver. It was fine before the last update. Customer service are useless, telling me it's temp problem when it's been happening 7 weeks. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache, logged out and back in. It does not work. Useless.
Started at 3, down to 1. Back to Tesco! Have to login often, if I click off to Google n click back it's reloaded n logged out! Shows a stupidly ridiculous no. of irrelevant items when u ask for lowest price first. If you've purchased n start a new basket, you have to delete the new basket to change the one u already paid for! I like that reviews are available on the app, although mine never show! I've complained my reviews don't show, they still don't show, keep getting emails to review items!🤦
I've be ordering with Asda and had the app since the first Covid lockdown. Never had an issue until recently. I had to look up on Google why it hasn't been working right, why tracking on orders hasn't been working etc to find out they're doing updates that might take a couple months to work out. Surely a company this big should have beta systems in place to make sure things work properly before it goes live? I'm so frustrated with it not working as it should. And I see I'm not the only one!
The past few months has been an awful experience shopping online/ through the app. Screen turns black, forcing me to force shut, can only see a couple of items per page despite it saying its showing me 30? Removed certain features which made the experience quicker. No transparency anymore with how/when building points. Add stuff to my basket only to get to check out and it wont let me without deleting everything in it. My annual pass is up and I dont think ill be renewing.
"Blocked" from signing out?! I literally had to uninstall then reinstall the app just to make sure I had completely signed out, and this kind of nonsense has been going on since July last year. You're not to be trusted Asda. It's too much of a financial risk to shop online with yourselves. It's a shame really, as once upon a time when the app was working properly I used to enjoy shopping online because of the convenience.
