This app has only worked for about 2 months on & off in the last year. For many years before that it worked fine. I go to log on and the login page just disappears and goes back to my main app page. That's just the latest encounter. Before that it would take as long as 2 to 3 minutes to get logged in "MAYBE". I do a lot of banking with my mobile. I have a LANDMARK account and their app works just fine. TIME TO CHANGE BANKS. I'm really tired of this. I've tried unloading & reloading app. No avail
Every single day, multiple times a day, when i go into my bank app it pops up error messages and tells me to contact customer support. After either closing the app and reopening the app probably about 6 or 7 times, it finally works. Otherwise if i uninstall it and reinstall it, it works right away. But only for a day or so. It NEVER used to be like this before. And it really sucks because i use this app more than any of the other apps on my phone.
Using the app is not a reliable means for banking There have been multiple times I could not access my account, pay a biller, or transfer money between my accounts because of system issues. There are often long delays for a bill to be paid, because of built-in delays for sending the payment, weekends, and holidays. This results in my always having to have a backup plan which greatly reduces the benefit the app could provide.
They took something that worked reasonably well and made it worse. More clicks than ever to get done what you need done and goes down more frequently than before. I deposit over 100 checks per month and this is not the app you want to do it in. If you're a business customer, you may want to look elsewhere. Been with associated or First Federal for 57 years, I wonder who they spoke to in order to make such a bad decision.
If I could give this app negative stars I would. Works less than 25% of the time. I have had to download delete re-download at least once a week to get it to work, gets very frustrating. They will tell you to update the app when you contact them. My app is always updated still has a lot of issues and seems to be getting worse not better. 3rd time this week having to re-download. How the heck is this an issue in 2021. They will also not help you much when u call about it.
I have used this app for almost two years with no problem. After a recent update it does not work AT ALL. Huge disappointment. EDIT: I have uninstalled/downloaded 2 times and still cannot log in. The app was fixed for almost over and a half years, but after the most recent update it won't even open. This is ridiculous. I've sent more than one email.
When I'm dealing with my bank account is when I expect an app to operate smoothly and reliably. I can't even open this app without freezing, crashing, or some weird technical difficulty. Depositing checks via mobile is the only reason I don't abandon my AB account for another bank, and this app makes it nearly impossible to do that. I don't live near a physical branch location or I'd just go there. Mobile banking should be convenient!
Half the time when I log in I can't do anything. I try to select an account and nothing happens, it's like it's frozen. Also, connectivity with other money-managing apps is horrible. Constantly says account is inactive and doesn't reconnect when putting in correct credentials. Why are there so many glitches with the Associated Bank system and apps? Frustrating.
The app can load up your accounts fine, but for the credit card account, there should be a due date for your payment coming up. Also, an option like the old version to automatic sign in with the user name. Edited - (4/4/2023) The app has approved a lot but doesn't have a way to contact associated bank after signing in? I also don't see a option to be able to report a lost/stolen card?
Everytime I try to open the app, it closes before I can even get to the log-in screen. Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but it still isn't working! Not only that but once I actually get the app to load and open, as soon as I type in my password and hit login, it erases my password I typed in and says it can't validate my credentials 😡
The app is horrible. I have to use it to cash checks electronically as I do not live near a branch anymore. It takes about 10 tries to log in, and I often have to delete the app and reinstall it. And then I have to struggle through the deposit process which gives me way too many errors. What should take less than 2 minutes often takes upwards of 10.
Slight frustrations. I hate that the width of the columns for the account names is three characters. Even the last four digits of the account number are split in half. And why are there so many lines between accounts, unless it is fun to force you to scroll and oops, ran right past it...! Also, why bother to have account names when they don't show up in the list? And every time the app updates the fingerprint login gets dumped. I'm pretty sure the point of a fingerprint login is to be easier.
First, I'm new to Associated Bank due to them taking over Bank Mutual. Both companies apps we're worthless but Associated is worse. I have a list of complaints about the app and the bank itself. But this app doesn't show accurate balances Thursday through Tuesday. Most people get paid on Fridays. But we don't have a clue how much money is in our account until almost a week later. I have to stop using my bank account for several days to get an accurate balance.
Error messages all over the app. I went in to set up my first payment for a new loan. I received the error message "Transfer Now system is down, please wait and try your transfer again." So I did, and proceeded to try 3 more times, same message. An hour later, I received 4 separate emails stating my transfers went through. I meant to pay one month of $976, and now they've processed a payment for $3,900. Someone living paycheck to paycheck would be encountering financial hardship over this.
I have issues with this app loading in constantly. I got a new phone and can't get the app to open up. Just sits on loading screen. I use to have this issue but reset my phone and it would fix the problem. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled numerous times..reset my phone numerous times. It still does not work. If they don't fix this soon I'm going to a different bank all together...I need the convenience.
Used to work fine, now just like everyone is saying, it says connectivity problems. This keeps up I'll be looking for another new bank for my banking. Chase was always good for me but they don't have any branch near my location! Now as of few days ago when I try to open app it just disappears. I've uninstalled and reinstall same thing. Very aggravating
EDIT: If you're going to force people to call customer care to reset their passwords, then you need to have 24/7 customer care! I'm getting really tired of all the BS with this bank. I'm getting really close to switching banks and closing my accounts with Associated bank. Took over a month for the app to be fixed. Unacceptable. This is an app for a bank, its not some small indie developer working on this app in their spear time.
I got a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and this app does not work. The app does not even load. This is very disappointing. I would expect a bank to keep up with technology to support these changes. Now I am unable to use the convenience of mobile banking. I have been considering leaving Associated Bank for some time after receiving poor service for an address change. This might seal the deal.
Reoccurring problems with the app. It will work for a while, then fall back into not opening after the ID and password is entered. It just keeps "thinking" (spinning), and has to be force closed. Useless app that just takes up space on my phone; I end up having to go to my laptop to do my banking.
Nothing but issues with this app, on my other phone it wouldn't even open because it wasn't supported, and on this brand new phone I started with not being "authorized" and now when I try to open it I get noting but errors. Never even let me log in. I have to risk my security by logging in on my browser to check my accounts, and if something happens because of it..... there will be major issues. Gave it a couple months and tried again, now just crashes when I click on it. Opened twice at first.
