I noticed that when using the Atome app, if you miss a payment on an installment, the system does not allow you to choose which installment to pay. Instead, it requires a full payment for all overdue amounts. This means that even if you have money to pay, your payment will go first toward late fees rather than the principal. If you have many small installment accounts, the late fees can quickly accumulate, making it hard to manage your repayments. I hope other users are aware of this limitation.

Customer Service unable to resolve my issue. Was able to make payment in 5 months ago. But in the last 2 months, I've been unable to make any purchases.. Tried changing cards, tried on different days, reinstalling apps, different merchants... Asked for a reason, but they replied with the same steps I've tried... Asked if it was spending limit, but they are unable to get the info nor I can check myself..

3 years ago i have an issue when I pay, it has this pop up asking me to check for outstanding payment but I don't have any?? And the issue was not resolved until now tt i reinstalled. Your customer support sucks, kept asking me the same qns in a loop (check outstanding bill, change my card..), are your email support bots as well? Becos they don't sound v smart in resolving my problem. But anw I finally resolved the problem on MY OWN by deleting my acc and registering again. Thanks for nothing.

not user friendly for 1st time setup. Haven't even purchase anything on app and just trying to make purchase with credit cards and already told exceed limit. the app clearly states 3k limit for credit card setup but tried multiple banks and cards and none able to. the customer service only has the standard unhelpful reply. waste of time

Not sensible and helpful anymore. Paying 80% for first payment and 10 % for the next 2. No difference than paying it full. Disappointed with the changes. After my monthly installments completed, will uninstall this app.

Very unhelpful customer service. Keep on tell me to try again 90 days later but i was still unable to make any purchase after that period. I have not make any single purchase since my last 1 purchase back in July 2025. Keep on getting the same scripted email replies that does not even answer any of my questions.

I've bought a lot of stuff from Atome and I must say, they're very forgiving with cancellations and it's easy to use. I'm appreciative of the vouchers and the easy user interface! Refunds take 3 days for me and I'm really really grateful they're so swift and usable ☺️

Encountered an issue with vouchers and went to check with their chatbot that gave a copy paste template reply. Emailing customer service will also give the exact same template reply, don't bother wasting time and money into atome.

Atome will try and charge you late payment fees through fraudulent methods such as deleting your payment method to prevent you from making payment!!! Also don't believe the high rating as they are rewarding users with 5 star reviews

Unfortunately, my account registration was rejected after review, and no explanation was provided despite requesting clarification. The lack of transparency makes it difficult to trust this platform. Disappointed with the experience.

The concept is good to allow for instalment payment however with the recent update of the app some pages can't be loaded, it kept prompting to reload and even for redemption of points can't be loaded. Please check before you have any update of the app. And the customer service is really lacking for Atome else I would have given a 5 star

if you're gonna change the icons at the bottom, at least put labels there. how was I supposed to know that the "Christmas tree" icon is the "bills" page?

They never informed before the due date and Charged admin fee. After that keep calling the phone and asking to pay the fee. It is just over one day because I thought it will deduct automatically. However, my card is not automatically deducted due to the payment control. I don't understand why they are acting like this for the people who are supporting their platform. Shoppe pay, Grab pay later are more gentlemen than Atome. That is what I feel about Atome.

its good until you just have a few days of delay and basic courtesy call, the person should state down on what has been communicated and update the system to avoid another person calling to ask the same question repeatedly a back to back of 5-10mins gap from each call and expect us to repeat our answer. you have a good branding, till you tarnish it like as though you are from a unlicensed moneylender behaviour. then there was one of them name LEX,texting you asking the same question again n rude

I've been using the service for months, and made a few purchases. But recently, I dunno what had happened when I open the app a pop-up message saying that my application is rejected. I email to customer service asking how could a successful registered customer that already been using the app for months can have a application issue. But your risk team seem like cannot understand the question and didn't provide me with an answer

I used to like the app and deals. But suddenly my transactions can no longer go thru and the CS team is useless, standard replies, no solutions. Contemplating deleting the app if it still fails. update 2026: still unable to link taobao to atome and CS told me they have no fix for the bug.

tried to purchase an item on amazon only for payment to fail and the atome option to not be available for unknown reasons, asked customer support and they said I can't use it for the next 3 months! and was told "does not guarantee approval" meaning even if given the opportunity to use, it still might not work.. abysmal

I added a locally issued credit card into the app. First few times, it actually worked, payments went through. Then, recently, I wanted to make a purchase via Atome on the same credit card, but it wouldn't go through. The message, "please link your credit card" kept popping up. I checked my outstanding balance, only $1.4k (credit cards have a limit of $3k). So I know it wasn't my card that's a problem. I emailed in for help, only to be gaslighted, and that they couldn't do anything. Wow.

Tried to make a payment and error message pop out, saying that "the payment is unable to process". Contacted them to solve the issue, but they told me my account registration was rejected. I sign up account few mths ago, and made payment once. Now they were telling me my account registration was rejected?! I didn’t receive any info saying that my account registration was failed. I asked them why and they said "we are unable to disclose the specific reason". Waste my time!! DELETE IT RIGHT NOW!!

Deleted and would never use it again. Didn't have a issues in the past. Always pay on time as I link it with credit card. With the recent changes, like many others here. Rejected my payment and mentioned they can't disclose the reason. Blocked it and i totally cant use it at all. Totally understand if you reject those who doesn't pay on time but what about the rest of the consumer? Ridiculous.
