UPDATE: I have installed the new version. It's gotten worse. It gives me the ability to select groups I want to see notices for, but still gives me ALL the notices including those I didn't select. So now I have the ILLUSION of choice without getting it. And still no ability to archive or delete items. The devs response to removing the ability to archive items being "as per school's request" because we might miss out on important notifications. Feedback to school-no point if everyone uninstalls.
I would give it a zero if I could. It won't even let me setup an account. I enter my email and password with the criteria and it goes green and says success. The next page I enter my name and it says invalid password format and does not let me proceed. Looking at the constant reviews of poor performance it is a wonder that schools insist on using this app.
My school uses this app to send alerts, updates and newsletters. It is quite useful. It's annoying how often it needs and update, but I guess that means it is constantly being worked on. And it seems to sign me out every so often and that limits the user experience a bit, Other than that, I use it because my child's school does and it works quite well most of the time.
Just updated app. The new large pastel rainbow colours are not great and the buttons for these take up a lot of screen space, so app is now less efficient. Newsletters are now ordered oldest first so I had to scroll down for ages through big pastel buttons to find the most recent one, which then is followed by (and hidden in) random school notices, most of which are not applicable to my child. The white font used on the headings is difficult to read. All in all, not at all impressed - bring back the previous version! Basic, simple, effective.
Keeps saying "Internet connection is lost" with a pop up saying "Network error. Check your internet connection". Internet is fine because I receive notifications of new messages - I just cant get into them. And I can browse the internet just fine. I've tried on different networks and using mobile network - same error. Please fix ASAP. I am relying on this app to get messages from the school. I've waited a few days for it to be fixed before giving a negative review but now it's getting ridiculous.
Not liking the name change?? Also I open the app and it just sits there in suspension telling me in the leading communication app blah blah blah but doesn't actually open so I can see my schools communication! The colour is and logo are also un friendly and doesn't tell you anything about what the app actually is used for like the old name and logo. Bad choice to change it.
The new updated app is not available on Google play for PC. it works on mobile, but I need a PC version to work. It only gives the old, non functional version when searching. Please do something, this has been a long problem and now the PC version does not work at all. And it's not just me, many parents at my sons school have this problem. Fix it or declare it a mobile only app.
I just updated the app, surprised it is no longer called Skoolbag. No biggie. However once launched, I am stuck at the "Welcome to Audiri" splash screen. There are no buttons nor prompts, and you’re just sitting there. I think it is broken at the moment. Update: the app finally loaded after a while. Probably about half an hour or so since updating and first launching the new app.
I was logged out and my user name and password was not working. It keeps telling me one of them are incorrect when I only ever use the same user name and password so I know 100% they are not wrong. I have updated and everything and still the same issue. So its been around 5 months now that I havnt been able to log on and check the school updates.
I made a payment a few months ago on the app and had no issue doing so. Every time I try to make a payment it now tells me my session has expired and I need to return to the beginning of the payment process. I have tried everything to do this and there doesn't seem to be a way to do so. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it only to have the same problem. Very frustrating as our school wants us to pay via this app.
My advice is do not bother. When this app was first released it was bordering on useless. That border has since been removed and it is now just useless. For example is your child involved in Cheerleaders, does not matter you will get notifications anyway. If you do for some reason use this app, keep your password handy. When ever there is an update the app will automatically kick you out and stop all notifications (even the ones that you want) until you re-enter your password.
Really struggling with this app at the moment. Was unable to log in for a couple of weeks, I put in my password and it starts to load and then nothing it just stays on the login page. I have switched my phone off and on, closed all apps and even deleted skoolbag and downloaded it again and it always stays on login page. It is a very important app for notifications from the school especially with Covid-19
UPDATED: Support team helped me to get it working. Thanks Andrea for the help. Wish if they didn't take this long to resolve it. Trying to get the notifications to work on this app. have done everything that I know. I really do not want to miss any notifications from school especially during this remote learning. Sent an email to support couple of days ago but no reply yet. So frustrating as this app was picked by school so I don't have any other choice. EDIT Thanks for the reply. Already there is a support ticket and nothing is happening. It's like playing with our children's future.
It's been good for a few years, but recently I've been having the same issue others have mentioned - attempting to login does nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled today, but it's still failing. Frustratingly, I'm still getting notifications of new messages - I just can't access them! I'm assuming it's being overloaded because of the current situation, but this is when we need it most. I hope the developers can get this sorted.
The app was working fine for me up until the last few days. Initially when I'd attempt to log in it said there was no connection. If it meant internet connection, I had full wifi and all other apps were working fine. Today when I entered my log in details, nothing happens. I reinstalled the app and still nothing. The school is issuing communication through this app regarding all responses to covid19. So I would really like to know what the latest developments are. How do I fix this?
What's happening with this app? Are the developers reading this at all? It's as if we are all wasting our time with these feedbacks!! This app is EXTREMELY important, since my son's school uses this rubbish for communications. I don't know what you've done to "improve" it, but now it doesn't recognise internet connection, my password or my mobile. Please "unimprove" it, perhaps it will work again! Very frustrating. Rubbish app.
One would expect this app would be a lot better than it is seeing that it is meant to help us parents for our kids school. But if the education department is involved with this app I won't say no more. Poorly funded and this has more bugs than a child with head lice. Keeps signing me out and i never gets notifications even though I have gone through all the settings as many times as I have had to sign in again and again and again
To update this - the last update from skoolbag fixed any issues there was - thank u "This is my only way of communication from my son's school - since the update, I cannot log in. It says that there is a network error. I sent an email telling of my problem but have received no response. I really like this app when I could use it! I need this fixed ASAP "
This app does not work consistently and is not a reliable source of communication. I experience periods where I do not receive notifications or communications is not loading in the app. I am also often logged out and I am then required to reset my password to log in. App doesn't reset the password and same error is displayed. Only way to get it restored is do uninstall and reinstall. Do not recommend
I have tried reinstalling endless times the app. It doesn't allow me to login or reset password. I even sent email which bounced back. There is no other means of communication with school regarding forms and notes. Can you please help in fixing this issue. Thanks
