Do not purchase this service from the Google Play Store. Purchase directly from Aura. GPS will take your money. Aura won't be able to see your account because they're not handling billing, and if you're not quick enough, you'll be out almost $200 because GPS won't refund you. I'm stuck with a service I can't use for the next year as a result. I should've stuck with Dashlane.

Every time I try to add a family member, it allows me to complete verification questions, but then kicks me out of the app without being able to complete the process. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the same thing keeps happening. I have sent two emails to Aura support, but received no response. Otherwise, the app is alright.

Recently signed up with Aura after researching several credit monitoring companies, and Aura almost always came out on top. The app is very easy to navigate. Discovered that linked credit cards and bank accounts are monitored and seen under "transactions" not stored in the "vault",which is mainly for personal info, property and documents. The only thing I would love to have changed is the ability to easily lock all three major credit bureaus on the app not just Experian, but you can freeze all 3

After using this for over 1 year, I'm not sure I see the point other than the insurance part of it. The app is not capable of learning your spending patterns so you will e.g. be alarted for every monthly occurring bill or purchase that you do above your set limit. IMO the credit card companies are infinitely better at detecting unusual spending patterns. Here you will have to do the screening yourself, which you can do by log in to your cc account every second day. Save the money, do it yourself

I started a free trial and after they charged me a holding fee, which they didn't specify would happen. My account was not usable. I went to their website and made an account there and re-applied for a plan. in my haste I didn't notice that there was no free trial option. I was immediately charged. I had to cancel both. I realize that I am at fault for several things. But the app is so poorly designed that I was left confused and unable to proceed due to their lack of recognizing my account

No longer support social media monitoring but app still shows it as an option. When I contacted support about it before, they acted like they really didn't care. Was very disappointed with that. Monitoring accounts (id/pwd) and credit is good. Some things like specialty finance alerts are useless. Tells there is an alert. And contact the company to get it to stop (but provides no guidance on how).

I really like how it catches all my transactions over the $ amount I set and any unusual transactions. I wish it didn't send me multiple notifications about the same transaction, or that I didn't have to clear multiple of the same transactions on the app. Just 1 or (maybe) 2 if the person doesn't respond in a timely manner would be sufficient instead of 5 or 6 within minutes for the same transaction.

The app is fine. the service provided is very good as is customer service. I couldn't give it five-stars because of the poor vehicle registration and monitoring process. the vehicle that was automatically listed for me I hadn't owned for decades. it was easy to stop monitoring it, but it could not be erased. Also, I couldn't add a recent vehicle easily. you had to go through the DMV, county register & other processes to get a new vehicle (one I actually drive) listed/monitored. Not Good!

Dreadful. the v mpn doesn't work if I surf the internet with it on no matter what shop for, I get ads all the time for things that i've searched for. Their data breach service keeps sending the same message from a 10 year old data for an account that no longer exists. They say that it's $120/year to auto renew, which I didn't sign up for, then they charge you $130. The service useless. Now I have to try to get the auto renew fee back for which I did not approve.

Great, but the password autofill is finicky, at best, and massively inconvenient, at worst. it's probably the most comprehensive single service for privacy and security that I've found, and it's not a terrible price. The VPN works well, and I've gotten important updates on potential identity theft issues as well! My only complaint is that the password autofill just does not work in any apps whatsoever, and there's no option for me to force auto fill to work, like with Google PM and/or Firefox

its hard and detailed getting set up and now each time I sign in it had first, a message that there was a problem with payment then after I called I tried again and this time I got a message that my password was wrong and it Was Not wrong. It may b work but I won't be able to (#%^&(>_) sign in to know. The agent i spoke with was patient and helpful but l did didnt call back. After all I went through to sign up, I have to wait a while and try again. Good Grief.

The app was working just fine since I installed it and signed up for the service earlier this year, but for some reason, the vault icon disappeared a few weeks ago. Since then, I haven't been able to use the app as it was intended. Update: It turns out that there was a glitch with my account: from Aura's end, my account was cancelled in July, but my subscription on Google Play was still active. Finally, I got the idea to cancel my subscription, then resubscribe. And that fixed the problem.

it was worthless. prevented my phone from functioning properly. couldn't even make a phone call after getting it 😕. had phone syncing with my Chromebook screwed the Chromebook functions too. even their positive reviews are filled with complaints. did get a refund but it's not their policy. so don't expect to get one if you don't want the service. the free trial is a lie. if you want 3rd rate service get it. spend more get something that works properly. you get what you pay for.

I researched this company, and I believe in them. Of course we are our first and strongest line of defense, and I have learned a lot over just the past few days! If you use Android? Search what "AirDrop" is, or just give it a try and see how an iPhone compares when it comes to the thorough explanation of particular technology. To me, I find it clearer and more precisely explained, but navigation is strange to me because it's a different style. Secure your identity and data, threats are there.

The password manager is buggy and needs more fluidity. It needs to sync faster from my PC to my phone. Changing passwords shouldn't be so arduous. Logging into the app with my fingerprint is spotty. You have to try multiple times to get the reader to come up. There's no support for all three credit agencies. They do several things well and I like the VPN and removal from reseller lists. I bought a Yubikey for important accounts. At best, it's okay.

I subscribed to Aura for about a week, and I have already decided to cancel the subscription and delete it. The VPN is terrible, you can't add exclusions for certain apps and websites like the competitors can. Credit score does not work, data removal is terrible. I could list all the problems I have with Aura. Three stars for the concept, but needs some major improvement and fixing, and adding more features to make it worth the subscription price. I really wanted to love it, too.

It's good when it's working. But randomly without me knowing it can be turned off. And it will ask your name be removed from valid authorized companies like "The do not call list" and "Experian." I was told it was nothing that could be done. It's the algorithm. We'll the algorithm needs to be changed. If needs to know the difference between bad apps websites and phonecalls and good ones. Now I'm getting more spam calls emails and text then ever before! 😤

This app is great and aura is the best when it comes to protecting your identity. If you're not using aura, you're doing it wrong. Keep up the great work! The app is pretty slow but I know you'll have it fixed soon. Sometimes passwords are filled in the username field instead of the username. Also, when do passwords sync? I wait for a while. A way to force a sync would be great. Dm me if you want details. I'm more than happy to help.

Purchased for parental controls, but it never really worked. It worked 1 day then it stopped working and I had to set it up again. This happened over and over again, until I gave up and tried to cancel. That is even more frustrating. I can cancel on line, but trying to get money back under 60 day guarantee is a real pain. Going to switch to bark and hope it is better than this failure.

(Update: they finally fixed the android password manager!) The password manager has been broken on Android for a long time. Also the virus scanner doesn't work even after allowing permission to all files. The number they gave me (technical support) never reached out. Yes, I have tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, to no avail. They better fix this soon, or I will take my business elsewhere. There is no excuse.
