App regularly gives connection error messages when opening, when this happens, you cannot add any new tracking numbers or track existing deliveries. This appears to be because the Australia Post tracking page is down regularly, as when I go to access the website directly, I'm met with a 403 error. It seems to happen every morning and intermittently throughout the day. Brilliant when it works, godawful when it doesn't - which seems to be far more often at the moment.
I accidentally deleted a parcel information after slided the screen, when I recognized what's happened, I missed the undo button. I couldn't found where to recover it, and the web says only can use the add button to put in a tracking number to get it back, but the problem is I don't have any tracking number provide by the overseas online shopping platform.
the app is good for tracking your packages but the deliveries cannot pass any gate so if you live in any unit, and you don't have a bell, they just take a picture of the gate and you have to pick it up at the post office. the app should notify you when the deliverer is outside. it does notify you 10 minutes after when he is gone. It happened to me at least 3 times. it's very frustrating.
App is generally good with many useful information. But there is no option to give a feedback for their frustrating delivery service. When it comes to parcel delivery, it is not a customer centered service and drivers can deliver the parcel to the customer (if he feel it is OK at that moment), nearest post office or wherever he wish at his convenience. They don't care about the inconvenience for the receiver at all.
The app overall seems pretty straightforward; I haven't encountered any problems thus far. The colour scheme stands out the most, to be honest. It's very easy to follow / read, not to mention, it complements my mobile's wallpaper. Win-win.
This app has become an essential part of my life. It's always nice to know when my deliveries are arriving. Delivery dates and times are accurate and the parcels usually arrive in the early days / hours of the window. Great work, thank you Aus. Post.
Any ideas as to why the ceo Paul Grayham went on nine news saying this app has live tracking and shows when the posty is close? I have never ever had that option. The only option iv ever seen is its coming today. With the super rare time windows of 2 hours. That's rare tho. So does the technology he's talking about just not exsist on andriod. Sounds like the ceo is telling porkies and doesn't know how his app works.
Simple to use and really handy. I have family living across Australia so I sent things all the time. Tracking information is great and you can share it with whoever you sent things to. Scan the receipt and name the package is excellent for when you've sent more than one thing at a time.
App is middling at best. Tracking is functional but doesn't contain all the information about the package (e.g. who is sending the parcel and Auspost has this info, so the process is bung). Also, the scummy tactic of forcing people to use the app to see the attempted delivery photos has not gone unnoticed. We should be able to do this online... But then again, Auspost should be able to find a "safe place" to deliver a parcel when there's a 3 metre bush right next to the front door too 🤭
If the app had accurate, reliable and consistent notifications, and my postie waited for more than 4 seconds, I wouldn't be picking up most of my packages myself. What a shambles AP has become, my last choice when it comes to packaging delivery. Literally useless for anything except checking what time a delivery was attempted.
I don't know whether its a dodgey app or dodgey people scanning things but trying to track a delayed parcel is insane. One day one sorting office is shown, the next it ends up back where it started with previous history erased. Hitting the back button to main screen my parcel shows up as being in another state. What is going on??? 🤷
Despite reinstalling the app and repeatedly attempting to add tracking numbers, I'm told that it's having problems and to "try again in a few minutes." The Shop app gives more details (but no image of where a parcel was left, of course), but at this point the Australia Post app is a brick. I suspect it's so they don't have to give details of where they're randomly dropping parcels.
I’ve been using Australia Post for a many years now and they’ve consistently been reliable and easy to deal with. Parcels arrive on time, tracking is clear, and the staff have always been helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Overall, a solid and dependable service.
It does what it claims to do: provide tracking information where available, as well as save your details about e.g. parcel lockers. Never had a problem with the app per se.
I have never seen the worst experience like Australia post ... in last month 2 bad experiences.. I sent some books to India and paid $78 in werribee.. it's been a month not yet delivered and in India post demanding the same amount and held my parcel. The second one I ordered was my Google pixel mobile , They said they will deliver today. so I am eagerly waiting. but the app suddenly shows, incorrect address and send back to sender only I am facing this kind of issue or is it for everyone?
I have found Aus Post to be the best company to deliver my parcels or to have them arrive in the parcel locker..If it comes to my place they bring it to my door, which a lot of other couriers don't, they leave it anywhere for others in my building to take..I have health issues so bringing it straight to me is a Godsend. the tracking is great too.. I have only had a couple of issues over the many yrs I've used them including some rude staff at the business hub to my son, but still recommended
Auspost Australia tracking and contact is the most poor in customer service from any company in Australia. Having everything as Artificial chat or Artificial talking on the phone is extremely poor service. Some things need to be spoken in person to sort out. Example living in North Queensland and your parcel gets sent to Brisbane and then to Vic. You contact them and it says on track for delivery tomorrow and no other help. Absolutely useless Auspost
trying to get my parcel safe dropped and now im being forced to sign up for an account and download an app... i used to be able to use the tracking number on your web page which worked perfectly fine.
I don't know what has happened to Australia post they used to be so thorough. for the first time they have lost a parcel which arrived on time to Sydney but was then sent to Western Australia instead of being sent to a suburb in nsw and now it has been stuck in Western Australia since the 5th of February. I have tried to contact them but you cannot speak to an actual person the system sucks
Great app, but the option to have a parcel left would be even better. some items could have been placed in the letter box. Otherwise, the app is great.
