There's no other review, I've noticed after installing. And let's just say there's a lot of information I got lost in, as a female trying to learn automotive. there's some b.s information i don't need to read about, and some I would love to learn, if simplified. Almost felt like I was in school reading one of those giant books. I love to read, and I love cars but there's got to be a way I can without getting drowned in words. with a more tantalizing page to read.
All the information this app provides is through unedited wikipedia articles. As a result, the information is both very technical and very limited. Often explaining that a part interacts with other parts, referring to those parts by name, and not elaborating on how exactly they work together in a way that's understandable to beginners. Because it's Wikipedia articles about broad topics, it also includes a lot of information that's not needed, such as oil filters being used in factory equipment.
Most of what you need, everything you don't. Very nicely formatted with easy to read articles, available in pdf. For the person that needs to know everything. Not a great app for actual repair info or diagnostics. I needed help with TCC selenoide, PCM, Mass air-flow sensor and the search tool was little help but scrolling down I found articles that vastly increased my knowledge of my truck.
It's okay as an informational tool, but is definitely is not a diagnostic tool. It talks about how auto systems work, and even how similar systems are used in other applications (e.g industry). However, it does not discuss how each system can go wrong, and what symptoms to look for when trying to find the cause of an issue.
Works, but rather basic coverage of each topic. Google goves a better coverage of each topic. An app plus, app can be moved to external SD memory
Seems ok, basically it looks like a collection of wikipedia articles (that anyone can edit) dont think this app compiled its own articles or lists or even checked for accuracy.
Well, it been a helpful app. Love it, but the displays weren't working when mobile Internet off. I think it might really helpful if it displays /diagrams appeared when mobile offline.
Too few example pictures to help reference similarities amongst real world encounters. Would be a plus if entries cross-referenced or used foot-notes to further understanding. Otherwise good basic coverage of some not so basic subject matter.
Good app, but its not really easy to understand since it is all from Wikipedia... The app UI and Layout aren't pleasing to the eye. Nonetheless a great way to learn about cars
So far a very interesting app. Even though I have worked on Automobiles all my one can always pick up facts etc they were not aware of before.
Garbage! Posted on APP store as an auto parts APP. This APP is just a dictionary for vehicle components! Don't get suckered into paying $2.99 for access! GOOGLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES ALLOWING SCAMS LIKE THIS!
The application contains useful information but it contains too many ads and you can't download all the data it has at once which kinda sucks
Good for learning car parts...when starting out learning about cars. Kids learning about cars...gives them a picture and subject it to them...and with this generation..and how they have they're phones to the face...they should learn something from this app...
Has a lot of automotive information about how certain things work. Very helpful especially for people new to how vehicles operate mechanically.
Seems to work well thus far. Its really informative too, less a dictionary really and more an encyclopedia.
As a ex vehicle mechanic now aged 61 and retired I find your app very informative with the new technology in motor vehicles. Thanks very much. From Dion in Langley Berkshire England.
Detailed explanation given of each part(s) individually . nice keep up the good work. . .
Giving useful information in short sentences. Explain little more with vehicle models etc...
Read one section of the app. Very useful and simple breakdown and easy explaintion.
The app won't allow me to read the privacy policy, a big red flag. Unless I'm able to read the privacy policy, I won't be using the app.
