Automatic Call Recorder Pro

At first I was really impressed and after having it for a longer than a day and a half, this gets 2 stars. It does not like to record and over half of my recordings are silent. I've switched the type of recorder and from manuel to automatic and I still do not get recordings. Then there is an ad everytime I so much as click on the screen. Not every few actions or every three minutes, but everytime I click in the app.

This is bad. The free version of this app works perfectly. But the second I paid for the pro version, just to eliminate the ads, it stopped working! It won't record anything anymore. To get this app to work, in the morning when I get up, if I uninstall the paid version, and go to Google Play store and download the free version again, it will work for a day. It will record everything on my phone. But the next day after the app automatically updates I am back to the pro version that does not work!

Extremely useful app, especially when I forgot something that was said on a call. The only gripes that I have is the quality is terrible whenever the call is turned over to Bluetooth, my contacts do not auto populate after a phone call, I am unable to change any of the settings as it always says, "Qe have used your app preference to give you a better experience," and, " Missing permissions," although I have given this app the permissions that it is asking for.

Great app that records calls well. I've been trying to figure out what the pro version is though. I can't find any information as to what the pro version offers (if anything). Also, the app will not record the other person speaking if I'm on a call using my headset. It will only record mine, but it will record both voices just fine without it if I'm talking into the phone instead.

I've now used the app for several months and I find it's exactly what I needed. Records BOTH sides of every call (that's the whole point, isn't it?), has the option of saving or deleting call at hangup, & you can go into your call list & delete any you don't want. Automatic, works in the background with minimal user hassle. Great job, developers!

This is the best sounding, most reliable FREE automatic call recorder available for Android devices in 2023, in my opinion. After Google changed their policy to not let anyone but Google record calls, the best app I've used for years has sadly not worked as well. In my search to find a (semi) replacement, I downloaded many automatic call recording apps, and as of this date, this is the best I've found. You may need to adjust the settings accordingly & when you do, it should work.

It worked for 1 call after installing. Selecting which calls were going be recorded and which weren't was hard to tell. Switching the button to left or to the right? I have way too many contacts to go through individually, yet I don't need all calls recorded. The only positive thing I can say is that it did record both sides of the conversation clearly, which is what I wanted.

Recording is fine but only lets you do one recording and won't record anything else until you remove the previous recording (save to computer/cloud, delete). Pain in the butt, but otherwise, app works well. No time limit on the recording, nice small file size. Audio of other party could be louder but nothing that can't be fixed with an audio editing program.

Amazingly annoying, with little to no control over actually being able to control what is being recorded. Even after setting things up it still recorded every phone call. Doesn't record when using headphones. Recoding volume is very low and static like for other user. The one thing they got right is the fact that it's a recorder app that records.

I love that this app records calls automatically and I can keep or delete calls as I choose. However, the playback is subpar and the ads are invasive and annoying. I have to turn the volume all the way up (with headphones on) to hear the other caller on the recording. Then, as soon as the recording ends, an ad screams in my ear because the volume is maxed out. If the recordings were as loud and clear as the ads, you'd be in great shape!

App has gone WAY downhill! When I started using it a few years ago, it was great, easy to use (though if I didn't use speaker during the call it only recorded my voice, not the other person). Now, with the changes they've made, the app is USELESS! All volumes are as high as they can go, yet there's no sound at all on playback. I can't change any settings like which calls to record. I hate the ridiculous icon that appears with every call! After every call, it takes me to the app, interupting

It works for call recording! I periodically need to interview clients for press releases and don't want to miss any quotable comments. (Goggle's big brother policy on call recording is ridiculous!) Had some problems getting other call recording apps to work. This does the job! Update - I needed to delete the app. I had a little trouble getting the functions to work properly when I reinstalled it. It worked on the second try.

Generally records both sides of the call. Ocassionaly one is missed. Unfortunaly sometimes they just disappear. I was labeling one so I could get to it easier later and the next call down just disappeared. Unfortunaly the next one down was a phone call that I REALLY needed. I also hate that if I want to play them back it can't be played back as if I'm listening on the phone. It's blasted out loud on the speakers so everyone can hear it. Also, the search does nothing- no button to press!

I cant get it to work without using my bluetooth headset. It sounds like a crappy recording device and you can barely make out what both ends are saying. Though when you do use a bluetooth headset, everything comes in crystal clear and, if the settings are still default, starts recording before the other party even picks up the phone which I think is a great plus.

In the recordings of the calls, the voice of the party at the other end is barely perceptible even though I have the volume turned up all the way to maximum when reviewing the audio. Which makes this app basically useless. And I realized this while going through my list of "recordings" after having just upgraded to the premium version without ads. I remember this issue wasn't always the case, so I'm not sure what happened.

This App is unreliable. Sometimes it works, other times is will not. I will not record both sides of the conversation when using a bluetooth device. Recently it failed to record both sides of the conversation. I have a list of empty audio files. This happen when I need it to work the most. If you looking for an App to be reliable, this one is not it.

Not familiar with a lot of the features yet but it works very well as advertised, automatically records all incoming and outgoing calls, automatically uploads recordings to Google Drive or Dropbox if you want, and you can choose storage location (internal memory or external SD card) along with limitations on how many files, MB's, or time frame to save (or you can choose to save and store unlimited numbers of recordings). Very little setup required to begin using recorder. Great app!

Horrible. I had a very basic need for this app: Record phone calls. I even paid for the premium version so I wouldn't have to deal with ads. Not only I still had ads on the premium version of the app, the calls were recorded just from my end. Even the quality of my voice was horrible. Static and breaking down. All you could hear from the other side was a whisper. Additionally, this app requires so many permissions that it was interfering with other apps. Uninstalled. A waste of my money.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS. Paid for pro, installed as directed, all permissions allowed, and tested against multiple short phone calls, all in preparation for very important call with my child's school. Recorded for just under 6 minutes, then complete silence for the remaining 45 minutes of recording. I suffer from memory loss and need apps like this to work, not sometimes, but every time. I'll definitely remember to NOT recommend this app. Is dev kind enough to refund? I'll let you know.

Works great... when it works. Seems to fail for no obvious reason about a quarter of the time. Unfortunately it always ends up being one of the important calls that appears to be recording during the call, but when I go to play back the recording I have nothing. Still, for the price, I'm happy enough with it and always install it whenever I change devices.
