I appreciate the ease of hearing how each name is pronounced, as well as the variety of ways they can be spelled, which gender the name is typically associated with, how makes are automatically listed once you rate them, and the convenience of what each name means at the click of a button. The pressure and guilt trip to pay for the app isn't super cool. But so far that's my only bother. No interrupting ads from what I've noticed, which was also nice.

Like the app. However, when I first started using it, it gave me multiple options for spellings. So I could dislike one way but like another. It seems to have removed that option? Now it seems if I click dislike of one way of spelling, it'll just remove any other way and not give me the option to like a different way. I also wish there was an easier way to compare my husband's and my lists. it seems like I have to look through my entire list to find what we like together.

Originally loved it, then a few weeks in it deleted the hundreds of names on my list and said I had two. As others have said, the swiping is great but the names listed are AWFUL! Like... Just include as many names as you can and include them with both the traditional and nontraditional spellings. If I liked a traditional spelling of a name but a name similar to it with a really weird spelling was offered I had to like it anyway since the "normal" versions are rarely offered. I even paid for the app.

This app has a few issues in its function but it's what I was looking for! A full list of baby names and spellinga for both genders. It includes a ton of unique names and not just the typical options. Plus you can go back and look at your like and dislike list if you change your mind on a dislike. I also love the countdown so I know how many names I have gone through. Hopefully they keep working through things but it's closer to what I want than any other app out there! And free!!!! Thank you!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Easy to use w/ plenty of different names to choose from. I think the app could be improved by grouping together all the different spelling variations of a name instead of having to individually go through each & every variation. (Example: Instead of having to like/dislike Kayden, Cayden, Kaiden, they could all be listed on the same page, together) However, the app is great & I don't want my suggestion to take away from the overall score. It still gets 5 stars!

Cute app that works perfectly for my baby-naming needs! Having Charlie as the face for the AI is adorable and helpful at the same time! I love how the pronunciation and in-depth information can be accessed from each name card itself. Only thing I would change is that the side navigation can be a bit confusing when it comes to the "My Favorites" section. It is not terribly difficult to figure out, but I also think the app could benefit from a minor adjustment to that

Honestly great app, good idea and we'll executed overall. I wish there were more names and a way to group similar names, but it is free or by donation, so the goes above and beyond. I really like that it includes an optional last name and area, and just being able to swipe and look at the list at the end is really convenient. Also love the fun facts. Please add more names or info about the names, I would like to be able to do more with the app!

You don't get to try out the filters AT ALL without paying. How do I know if I like it or not? Also, there is no way to go back to a name you accidently said you didn't like. Also there is a like 3 minute lag when trying to see the names you did like on your list. I only give it a2 because they have thorough explanation of the name

I've had to restart on different phones when I try too restore ot only talks about apple ID I am on a Samsung and most of my phones where Samsungs so annoying to have too restart and every time I install on a new device there is less and less for the free the only reason I am now writing the review is because now you have to use pro to rate more in 24 hours and considering I had already contributed when the app frist came out and had so many glitches and lost my ratings to many time.

Great interface. Easy to browse the large selection of names and to swipe for the ones you want to save. Also provides an excellent selection of name variants, name meanings and pronunciations.

I tried similar apps before. At least this one has a decent list of names to choose from. But so many bizarre spellings, sometimes they're merged, sometimes not. I'm not sure what the AI does, it sounds more like marketing. Relevant names were scattered until the end of the list, clearly the AI didn't learn to prioritize anythingv effectively. At the end I was mostly pressing 👎 though garbage names that the AI didn't figure out, and though the constant requests for money.

Great app based on an awesome concept. Love how quick and easy it is to use in a spare 5 minutes! Love that you can like the names and then see which ones your partner likes as well, and easy to go back if you accidentally clicked past a name. Awesome app! Edit: Still love this a year on, however I have recently got a new phone and sadly cant see any way of transferring my old saves etc into my new phone! Maybe you could set up a way to log in or send a link to yourself in this situation!

Edit: Still good with looking for names individually, but have since found that the partner feature doesn't work for us (and I see it doesn't work for a few others too). We send the link and it just keeps telling us to download the app and then we're good to go...except we both have the app Easy to use and still usable without paying (unlike a number of other name apps).

loved this app. I used books and websites to try and find names but this app made looking so much easier and with the partner share we could easily keep up with what each other was thinking. My only slight recommendation which I would love to see for our next bub is if there was a way to not show certain starting letters. For example I don't want my bub to have the same letter as their siblings so I wouldn't want any names with a T showing. and to be able to have a middle name to select as well

Absolutely love this app, and love that it synchronizes with my wife's iOS version, the compare names feature is awesome! This makes it so easy to see each other likes and dislikes. I also love the feature where you can add any name that isn't already in the database. I have tried dozens of baby name apps and this one is the best. It ticks all the boxes and makes name choosing so much easier! Also great customer service & support, very quick at replying and solved my question within a couple of hours!

Instead of the constant begging for money, just make the app cost something. Honestly this pseudo free thing is annoying. Also I don't get how the comparison works. I'd want my partner to be able to see all the names I liked, but instead he only sees very few, most of them he hasn't evaluated yet. He should be able to scroll through my list. It's a big selection of names though, often including pronounciation, so the app absolutely does what it should, just not very user friendly imo.

I love this app! Really helped my partner and I name out first. I love that we could link the app and find names we both liked so easily. I also think it's amazing not having subscription services that make a free version redundant, I always donate a bit whenever I can! Thank you so much, forever my favourite name app. (Also great for book writing etc)

Husband and I are really liking the app, it's nice how we can connect our phones and see which ones we both liked is a really nice touch!! Also happy with zero adds, but don't care for the pop ups that keeps asking for money. I understand it's an app so that's gonna happen. But the only difference between this and Google is that both me snd my husband can see different names and see the ones we both agree it. But that is a really awesome feature, & I enjoy using this app. It's def a great idea!!

A lot of repeats of the same names in different spellings. Didn't like that you can't search for specific names to add to your lists. A lot of common names are not listed, such as Alvin, Jared, to name a few. No ads, but their own "ad" to donate pops up SO often. Overall did not like it enough to keep it.
