Background Eraser Photo Editor

This is a good app. I generally don't leave reviews, but I'm a business major and $26/month is egregious. That is more than a subscription to most video game subscriptions or streaming services. If you have the money to afford this you are better off subscribing to Adobe photo plan or Capture One on PC. Polish also makes a great app where you can cut photos manually for free; although, it takes more time. But, at $312/year for Magic Cut, you are better off finding an alternative.

The app layouts nice and all, and there's a decent amount of features but it can't locate any of my pictures on my phone even though I gave it permission so you know you can see my art work on any local non-graffitied (spelling?) white wall around :) Edit as response to editors/creators: No, finding the finished product wasnt really the problem, finding any picture to cut/erase/paste with would not show up. Any pictures in my gallery screenshots or any of the sort would not be located by your app

So, free version of this app is SUPER unintuitive, I found no cut feature and very little besides stacking photos on other photos with a really annoying frame around them. Maybe you have to do the "3-day trial" to get ALL features? Still stupid: I'm not going to do the work to "cancel" pmt for something I didn't even get to try. 🥴👍 I'll gladly ADD a payment if I decide I LIKE it- which is what GOOD software trials do. But I'm not getting stuck paying for some garbage via "technicalities".

$40 a MONTH?? Are u kidding me?! No thanks. I'll stick to Adobe Fireworks, at least it can do everything this app does and then some. Plus its a lot easier to edit on a proper PC vs a mobile phone and I don't have to pay a monthly fee smh.. The only thing I was looking to get out of this app was to see if it had the ability to create .svg files. Not paying $40 to find out...

The app was pretty decent to use at least, but what I didn't expect was that the app still charged me when I didn't subscribe to anything on the app and there is no customer service as far as I can see at least to ask for a refund, this is why I left nothing but one star. Be suspicious of any charges in your balance and check for the subscription option in play store before leaving the app idle.

An absolutely phenomenal app for editing photos. Every action is very precise. You can cut out any picture and smooth it out to your hearts content. You can paste it to whatever you want with precision and edit colours, remove blemishes etc. BUT The price is very, very, very steep. It's as much as some TV packages. It's double that of streaming apps. The itself is perfect for editing and creating pictures. But due to the price, alas, I am unable to use it.

Great app, it works very well for what I want to do. It does leave a watermark which is erased via VIP option. Not really necessary for a casual as myself so maybe a pay to purchase/erase watermark option might be nice for the likes of me. That's my only criticism, otherwise absolutely brilliant. Its auto cut feature worked great.

It was long way before I learned how to use it, but really, this app is great. It not always captures what you need automatically, but you can still continue cleaning what wasn't cut. Sometimes it gets surprisingly complicated images. Even after free sticker option is all used, you can continue getting pictures cut, just with added watermark (you can fix it when it's not above the same picture you just cut). My complaints are about post-cutting editor, and size of brush bar getting in the way.

They Keep changing stuff sometimes better sometimes not. On the whole pretty good. One thing that always gets me about these kind of apps is the aggressive pricing. You can sort of use it for free and most people only need the odd photo touched up. But it goes from free to £21 a month, a fiver to remove water marks or the old system of watching an add is more than enough. If I cared that much about photo manipulation I'd have a pc and and a dedicated software package.

Don't get this. Would only got a 4.2 if the app writer did the review... To say this has adverts is an understatement ... Everytime you do anything it shows an advert 5 seconds.. I understand 1 at start and end then top and bottom of the .app... But this is just addware... It's not even any good... I'm cutting around a Christmas tree and it can't manage it . Then goes to unhelpful options... Saves as sticker seems to limit amount of saves... Then they want you to buy the product. DONT.

This app has potential. I am rating it a three because it does not offer enough universal mundane backgrounds. The search engine is only active when you are actively working on a project, and it does not recognize the face of a doll so the cropping is not refined for my projects. It is not clear what is included in your membership and if or when you will incur additional cost after downloading a "free" background.

Edit: I appreciate your willingness to respond to reviews. The issue is the popup is the first thing people see. It made me want to not even try the app. Maybe if it had popped up after I had edited something? Orig: $26 a month? Really? Quick sanity check here. Adobe Photoshop, the full program, is available at $20 a month. You really think this is more valuble than Photoshop? Having that price pop up as the first thing I see when I open the app is probably the worst first impression possible

£8.99 per month subscription for a decidedly 2nd rate app. It's another one of those that seems to think it's a social media site - if you want that kind of app, get Picsart, it's WAY better & it's free! It's continually bugging you to subscribe, the only way to save is to watch a 15 second advertising video, & most of the features are just gimmicks. Also, I've read a lot of highly suspicious reviews, praising it - I can only think they're written by the developers, masquerading as punters! 💩

Con..BIG con! When you download it, you are offered a THREE days' Free Trial option. If you want to carry on using all the features, you HAVE to take a subscription which costs EIGHTEEN POUNDS and 99P per YEAR! Outrageous! Subscription apps should be avoided at all costs, because once the Developer has your money, they don't care if they mess up their apps in Updates, which you may not even like. I uninstalled immediately!

I haven't gotten terribly far into the app, so it could still possibly lose stars, but the background eraser is pretty decent, so far. I'd probably even add a star if the manual erase section would immediately update on the page. Along with the auto-erase part being able to erase all of the selected color from everywhere on the current screen instead of having to drag it around, somewhat "painting" it, for lack of a better word.

Needs to subscribe first before you could use the background removal feature. If only I could give 0 Stars, I will give 0. Will uninstall. Disappointing app.

Zero Stars You can't save anything at all to your device without paying for premium. No limit on free pics. Or for watching ads (which you will still do plenty of). You can edit a picture. You just can't save it or even screenshot it which makes the app useless. Waste of a download. Uninstalling immediately.

Older version was much better. Everytime they upgrade this app it gets worse. Now when you upload a photo to work on it automatically crops it and you lose most of your picture you are trying to edit - with that said I must admit I have tried them all and this one is still the best cut and paste photo app I've found. Just wish they'd stop changing it and revert to the spring 2021 version.

This app is amazing and does everything it claims very well. That said, the price is STEEP! If there were even options for casual users like $10-15 one time or $2-3/month with adds and only 15-20 saves per month. 5 stars. If there was an option for $1/save. 5 stars. But $10/month is more than a casual user would realistically pay. Let me know if other options become available. I would gladly pay a more reasonable price, and up the review to 5 stars.

App starts out perfect! Gives you the ability to make amazing photo cut outs, especially if your smart device comes with a stylus. But sadly the main functionality on what made you probably download the app in the first place! Becomes unavailable! And forces you to sign up for a paid subscription! 😡 That gives you access to the same feature that was previously free! Another app ruined by greed! 😤🤦🏿
