Been working great for a few years and now last week(s) it has suddenly become very buggy and strange. (Samsung S26)
Impossible to use fingerprint anymore. For a year it keeps turning off for no good reason. Somtimes it rejects fingerprint so you try again sometimes it stops fingerprint auth afer first rejection and sometimes it accepts (shows green on phone) but still turns off fongerprint and makes you type in the code
My other smartphone UMIDIGI Z1 is incorrectly listed by developers on Google Play Store as compatible with this app. But its false, because the device runs Android 7 and cannot be updated to higher version, i.e. cannot be installed, as the app requires Android 9 or higher.
BankID wants to decide which app I'm allowed to use ON MY OWN PHONE! If I want to use KDE Connect, then that's my choice, don't tell me to disable it. The only fraudsters here is BankID!
Am extremely dissapointed, have had the app about 8 years, no issues. but now cannot use the app which also means i cannot access my bank or pension accounts as i no longer live in Sweden. am also british so they made changes to prevent fraud. thats all good but what about existing customer who need excess to their accounts. Tralled to Sweden after speaking to bank and told to come and it will be sorted just bring passport (British) no problem. getting there told cannot help. FIX THE PROBLEM
Usually works very well. However, it's a somewhat sensitive system to be too depending on as a society. If it crashes, have a bug in an update, gets hacked etc., it can be very problematic for everyone. It's very convenient, but we still need alternatives to be more safe.

When selecting "use BankID on this device", I have to enter the PIN 2-3 times before I'm granted access. Sometimes it becomes an endless loop. Regardless of app, so this is definitely a BankID issue. The worst part is there is not support contact for BankID. QR codes and camera work just fine, but I don't always have access to a computer.
I had a windows phone before, the app kept asking me to change my phone because the service was supposed to be ended shortly. I did it (these days windows phone is good for nothing anyways!) Now that I've got an android phone, the app stopped working a few days back because my version is too old for them... What kind of support is this? Especially for an app that is essential to your life. So I should change my phone every time you please? Ridiculous!
I thought I'd get a bank-Id card and all but eventually gave up the thought because of the 'Updating' problem. Every time I open this app, first thing that comes up is 'Error' followed with 'this version is too old.' When I return to the Play Store app and try to update it, no button with that word ever comes up. So what? I blamed it on my phone and we moved on. Still, isn't this a crucial problem? It's frustrating no matter how I look at it. There's now a requirement for me to buy a new phone.
App stopped working from one day to another. I have the latest update shown (7.44.0) but opening the app yields "Uppdatera din BankID-app och försök igen. Du använder en för gammal version av appen" Android 10, app has worked without any issues up until probably yesterday. The app is crucial for a modern life in Sweden and IF the app really is supposed to stop working on certain phones/systems it NEEDS a prominent banner IN the app for MONTHS before that happens.
Suddenly stopped working early September. Looks like it can't connect to the server any more but it doesn't print any useful error message. When this happened it prevented me from buying a bus ticket home. Luckily I have an old authenticator from my bank so I can at least use that to pay my bills, but I'm currently locked out of all services that don't let me choose authentication method for the purchase
Every time I should sign and there is a link to click that will open the app on my device for me, after signing it does not take me "forward/inside" the webpage. Instead the app closes and thows me back to where I was when I opened it but 1 step back (like I'd also pressed the back key in the browser). I am unable to take covid tests or see my pension. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
Fingerprint authorisation does not work for android 10. Support email just sends an auto-reply that i should contact my bank. Thats deserving of a one star review. App is fine otherwise, just don't understand how you can not keep the app running with the latest version of Android. Especially with so many users. Under all kritik.
Seems they changed the requirements for length security code to sign. The front end developers and product manager biff it. Now I can't even change the security code because the submit button requires 6 digits, the old requirement was 5. I bet this is off shore development project these days. :-( :-( No help or support, hopefully I can pay my bills on time.
The latest update broke the whole app on my Pixel. So, in an attempt to check how much money I have in my bank-account, I start my old phone. But guess what, it isn't supported anymore. Additionally, most features are locked for those under 18. With all due respect to the development team, please fix your app. This isn't the first time this very critical app decides to not work.
Used to work perfectly but since few months i couldnt open the app. This is unacceptable as the bank id is used to access both bank & most public service related to the personal number. Now i cant access any of those. I sent an email to maintenance team & it just sent back kind of automatic reply saying my mobile system is not updated. But no, my android version is up to date! So no help no access to anything!
Frustration - when digital id card was added all went well with installation on my iPhone but when the same process is followed on my android I get an error message when I choose to scan my passport. No possibility to have any support with this issue. Error message is that unable to start text recognition, maybe because Google play has not finished downloading necessary files yet, please try later. Now been trying for 2 days without progress.
Since you now need a passport or national ID, I can't give this app a good review. It was easy to use and unfortunately the mobile version is required for a lot of things. But not everyone has a passport/ID, and they are not free, especially not if you live far from a city and have to drive in once to start the process and again to get the ID (also you have to verify with a mobile BankID at the police, so if you don't have one you're screwed). Please let us use a driver's license instead!
Why does the Bank I'd not work all of a sudden? I have a new phone and it's installed on here. There is no reason why it should not work for Parkster. Its very inconveniencing and ea h time I try to pay and Bank I'd Gives me thr same fault, I forget and get reminder mails with the reminder penalty! Could this be a strategy to collect more reminder fees? Because Bank I'd was working quite perfectly before. Very frustrating. Please rectify this on your site or something. It is very frustrating
