Fast, accurate, simple! DEVELOPERS: Please consider integrating an 0CR recognition solution; many of us would like to scan a line of numbers or text in a simple manner then copy/paste. I know there's already scanning apps, but they aren't handy for quickly scanning and researching a particular string of characters. Thanks for considering, I'd be one of many to beta test and even pay for such an app

The apps operation is fast. With this, I barely run the scanner through the entire length of the barcode before accompanying website appears. I also give the app a plus for making it possible for one to create his/her own barcode. On the downside, I think the apps operation would have been much more faster if it was designed to open the website automatically while still maintaining the option for saving the barcode's website.

Some advertisements are deceiving. This is not necessarily an app problem, but an advertisement provider problem. After scanning a bar code, an update request was displayed in my case. It looked legit, but it wasn't. The 'update' installed an app that didn't work and changed the app drawer, it also couldn't be uninstalled from the phones app manager. I uninstalled it using "App Manager III". I then ran several virus/malwear scans.. nothing found so far.

Reads many 1 and 2 barcode formats, nice UI and UX. Great app.

The adverts on this app are scams. I have used this app for a few year's with no issues, but just today July 17th 2025 i got scammed. i scanned something on my playstation and instead of going to the sony site, a paged pops up with open or close on it, i assumed it was sony and opened it but it was a scam page. Needless to say i entered my CC details and now i need to cancel my card.

This is a very short-term review, but it seems to do one job quite well. My phone has yet to appear infected with malware after installing this app. The apps contains no other distracting features and so far, scans bar codes effortlessly. If ads appear in the app in the future, I would gladly upgrade to a paid version.

This is the best app for scanning products. It is accurate, fast, reliable, and best of all user friendly! Use on anything that has a barcode. VERY useful. Also.app. will keep track of all items scanned Thanks developers for a wonderful tool! I tell all my coworkers and friends it's best scanner app out there. Why? Because it is #1

This app works well, but here's a couple of IMPORTANT tips for the developer. Firstly, it would be a good idea to list the types of barcodes that you support. I needed to read Aztec as your app doesn't support Aztec codes. (you're not the only one guilty of not listing the types of barcodes they support). Secondly, why don't you support Aztec? It's not exactly uncommon. For such a nice app, it's sad that there are loads of barcode types that it doesn't support.

When scanning any QR code witn this app, I'm rarely successful at it actually pulling up the correct info/item/site/video. I can truly say it has only correctly and accurately redirected me 2x out of the 10's, 20's times I've used it. Standing so still, having item w/ QR code in position ready for the photo to be taken, none of that matters, I've trouble-shooted so many ways and so many times but got some results each time for each coded item.

Not really the "Pro" version if it has ads, which are very obtrusive, FULL-PAGE advertisements. They clearly did it this way merely to get more clicks and IMO is rather disengenuous. I miss the early days of smart phones when a lot of people posted completely FREE apps with no strings attached simply because they wanted to help people rather than grub for money for every little thing.

I absolutely loooove this App! I have tried allot of other apps and non of them worked nearly as good as this one. I'll admit I have tried more then a few after I found it hoping to find something else just as good if not better. but I still haven't found another app like this! It does what it says it can and doesn't glitch or bombard you with ads.

Provided you have good lighting and the barcode remains steady as you scan this saves manually entering barcode numbers into a Google search. That's all. Has no databases of its own. Also scans multiples. Sadly, every scan forces attempts to install other unwanted apps. You must cancel every time you scan something before scan results become available. I scanned three barcodes. Zero found online via default Google search. Perhaps these codes are not listed online. Idk. Uninstalled :/

Another ambitiously useless slugbot - go straight to jail, do not pass Go 😂 AFTERTHOUGHT, HAVING JUST INSTALLED IT: I then installed an alternative from the Playstore, gave it first test (a rare Neapolitan squid pasta). 2 seconds to scan, 1 second to identify product correctly. This wretched bogus app took a minute trying to scan the barcode followed by several failed attempts to find the product. I wasted around 5 minutes of my valuable time on it and another 5 on this review. Heed my words!

This is pretty much malware. It is absolutely malicious and it uses whatever barcode you scan to take you to a false website and try to download whatever. Upon trying to exit the app it will stop you immediately and say: "are you sure you want to exit this application". I am not sure why there are so many downloads, views, nor ratings

Fast easy and reliable the best barcode scanning app I have you ever used. The fact that it actually takes me to whatever website the barcode im scanning is connected to is remarkable. Cuz compared to half the other dozen apps I've tried that tells me it can't find it this one is by far the best if I could rate it more than five stars I would I would rate it a 10 star.

Another app with annoying pop-up right after launch. This one says: "Give us 5 stars to encourge us?" (yeah, they even have a typo in it) A new progressive way for applications to collect 5 star ratings as soon as possible. You could get them later but not anymore. :-(

Good overall but it gives each scan a long, arbitrary number and while it keeps a history, there's no way to rename the file for future, easy reference. It's all just long numbers. Doesn't make sense. How cou.ld the author miss this? Would be 5 stars otherwise.

Installed in 15 seconds, was scanning 10 seconds after that. The entire process took a whole lot less time than my previous barcode scanner app took to simply update itself at the most inconvenient times when i just needed a quick scan. out with the old scanner and in with the new!

Couldn't use the app because all the buttons are underneath other Android buttons on top

Uninstalled immediately after I caught this app using my camera in the background at 1:33 AM, when my phone hadn't even been in use for hours, and I hadn't used this app in 2 days. The Android Permission Monitor confirmed that it was not some mistake made by me. This is very suspicious and I would never put this app on my phone again. It is totally unacceptable to activate anyone's camera without their permission. Most of these reviews are clearly fake.
