Basketball Stats Assistant

Offensive efficiency and shot charts are great for my AAU team. Some of the advanced stats are really useful. Fast break points are tracked, but they're buggy. I reviewed the games I created and all the fast break information was gone. Showed 0 for both teams. It also showed several of my players as having more minutes per game than there are ACTUAL minutes per game. I'd like to be able to assign opponent pts to one of my players, or to a zone/team defense. Defensive stats are important too.

::UPDATE::: Developer helped me through the problem and now it works great. Changed my rating to 5 stars, not sure there is a better basketball stat app out there. App continues to be updated and has been very useful for our team. Would rate it 5 stars but it is not saving games in the app. I paid for a year service too. I've used the app twice for 4 games total. We play 2 games each week on the same night. Both last week and this week, the app only saves one game. I am able to get the stats for all 4 games from the files, but in the app it only shows that we have played 2 games this year. This makes it difficult to get the season stats when only half the games are saving. The games are completing, and I hit the save icon on top of that to try to insure they are saving. When you select "Leave Game", it should automatically save the game, but I'm not sure that would even fix this issue. I am still going to use the app for our future games, but I expect it will only track one game a night.

The best app for stat keeping by far! I have tried many apps to track scores and stats for my son's AAU team and while each did one or two things ok this app does everything and does it well. On top of that its very simple to use, just drag the action to the player and that's it! Simple. Intuitive flow helps add assists/rebounds etc to the original play you entered. Reports are deep and easy to read & analyze. Beyond easy to use and extremely valuable data for coaches. Highly recommended

Okay, but glitchy. The saved pdf game report files will not open if saved locally. The error message says they are corrupt. Save to Google Drive, then the files will open. Turnovers tracker does not work. With NO 3 second turnovers recorded, the game report says that all but one was because of 3 sec violations. It is easy to double count rebounds. Record a missed shot rebound, then a put-back basket, the app records 2 rebounds when there was only 1. I would not pay $49 for a 1-year subscriptin.

Love the app! Very intuitive and customizable with tons of features. I just wanted to recommend a couple of things. First, when you click on a player (while recording stats), it should show you their stats. Yesterday I was injured so I took stats for my team and my coach asked me a few times how many fouls player x had, and it was tough to find out within a few seconds. Also, you should let us see player photos during statkeeping. Would be better than # or initials for quickly finding players.

Best 🏀 app for stat tracking! I used it over the summer for a basketball league that I organized and it gave us all the details and helped us pick the MVP, DPOT, Best 3pt shooter of the the tournament... But when I check the app now, it seems to remove the feature where one can see leader players in the leage (in PTs), Idk if it moved to paid version or not but I can't find it anywhere.

Been using this app for 4 years now and absolutely love it. Very easy to use and intuitive, but also extremely detailed and powerful. Gives lots of advanced stats that help my coaches disect each area of our games. Reporting features are awesome too, and very helpful.

have tried a bunch of stat keeping apps for my son's basketball games. This one has the the perfect mix of detailed stats and ease of use. I have not been able to use it live during a game but it is straight forward to use during a video review. one thing I would like to see is the ability to move players between teams so that there would be a way to track a player improvement year over year.

This developer had seemed to be very responsive, but while he listened to the issues I had with the app, he didn't seem to make any tweaks or fixes. For example, when I set up a game and clicked the players who would be on the court and bench for each team, sometimes not all of the players appeared, even when I tried several times. That was a problem because after the game starts, other players are considered ineligible and can't be added. If a player arrives late to the game, he or she can't be added, either. In addition, if I make a mistake in recording the stats during a game, then after the game ends, it can't be corrected or only can with difficulty. There were some other tweaks that would improve this app. Overall, however, the app is pretty good to record stats in the various categories. One just need to slide the player to the stat category. To keep stats for both teams, especially in a fast-paced game, you will need a spotter. Also, some of the aggregated stats. like league leaders and team stats, could be improved. In any case, I told this developer, Sergio, two weeks before the first renewal date of my subscription that I did not want to renew this app. I had only used the app two times in a year to take stats during actual games. But my credit card was charged for the renewal anyway, which did not make me happy. Sergio responded that he could not cancel, and I had to do it through Google. This was one of the first apps I had paid for, and I didn't understand that the owner of the app can't cancel a subscription. And it wasn't apparent to me how to cancel myself. In any case, the developer refunded my card for the subscription fee, a little more than US$17. I appreciate that.

This is a great app and well worth the subscription price for those who play regularly. We play twice a week after work, tape our games then replay it to track the statistics in the app in real time (which is a breeze given how intuitive it is)! The ability to export the game and season-long data is also fantastic. And for those who play both real and fantasy basketball, the in-depth player stats from this app serve as a great/therapeutic placeholder until the start of the next NBA season... ;-)

The app tracks pretty much every stat you would want. Easy to use. Too many kids (& their parents) focus on scoring alone. The Leagues perpetuate this with score sheets that only show points + fouls. Our Club teaches players both sides of the ball. This App allows us to address the importance of shot selection/efficiency as well as evaluate player +/-. Drilling down with different stats truly shows a Player's value and is a great Coaches tool. Thank you for creating this App.

Good idea and plenty of functions. It takes a while to get used to inputting all the possible data when watching a game but you can easily decide to add less detailed data e.g. adding data on team level rather than player. I'm yet to be able to input all data at game speed but might get there with more practice. Note: I have updated my initial review after receiving SUPERB support from the developer.

Ran it up first time. With only a little practice, found it easy to use at a fast pace. A suggestion .. when a field goal or 3-pointer is made, the app prompts to credit an assist. In some instances, there is no assist, but a choice for "No Assist" is unavailable. Please add this option. Otherwise, good stuff here Sergio. I like it what you've developed here.

Legit a great app. Looked at a bunch of alternatives and this is the best one I found. Used to track youth basketball stats pretty intuitively and with a solid UI. Also has a lot of extra little features like pdf and xls reports you can send to other coaches and people, as well as some advanced stats like PIR and EFF. Dev is active and regularly updates the app too. Solid.

Really nice actually. The free to use will definitely get you by. The subscription looks like it has a bunch of cool features for a mobile app. The option icons weren't showing on my game coding screen, so had to do a bit of blind pressing to figure it out (Important because I couldn't exit otherwise). Other than that very cool.

The app is well designed and I was happy to discover it. However, it loses its importance when you have to pay to see the stats of more than one game. Perhaps you could make it up to 30 games for the free version, because there is no sense when I cannot see the score or the stats after 1-2 matches. When this happens, the Teams' and player stats are lost. I know you guys have to earn money, but please extend the number of games available in the free version. Thank you for your attention.

I have been using the app for 2 years. The interface is easy to use for capturing the key actions in a game. The reporting provides all the data points you need including tracking best team lineups. When I have had questions, the support has been very good, quickly resolving issues.

My daughter is a sophomore and has several colleges looking at her. Hudl does a horrible job with the stats, so I use the app to track stats for a few of the girls. There was a bit of a learning curve, but I'm really enjoying it, now that I have it figured out. Thank you for all the hard work you put into the app. Great job. Several parents have asked me what I'm doing during the game and I've shown them the app. I helped one parent get started with it. I'm definitely promoting it.

Further update: have been using the app for an annual tournament for 9 teams where stats are kept for all games and players...quite a robust app and quite handy for quickly assembling stats. Well worth the sub for the premium version. update: Now that i actually understand how it works i give it 4 stars... I have a slight issue with all my players not being called up to the game but usually solved by reloading...great app.
