tragically feature-less... pura funciona. why can't i rotate the article to landscape? why isn't there a built -in word translator? but most importantly --- why can't i save/bookmark articles? otherwise it works-- well!! Sí funciona muy bien, es tan sencillo. no ads, no annoying bloatware to pester you for a subscription. however I'd consider a subscription to have better regular user features. perhaps a freemium version can be rolled out? por favor señores mejorarla mas antes que nunca

With this app i hit two birds with one stone--i'm updated on the news and i get to improve my spanish. Would be really great if this app had a bookmark feature so i could easily return to articles that i haven't finished reading or want to read again. There's also no search feature so when an article is no longer on display, one can't access them anymore.

You guys are following a very sad trend. "The uncompleted sentence that...". That's terribly anoying. I already uninstalled other news apps (DW, among them) for the same ugly practice. Look. I know you want to prime clicks but consider the fact that someone dared to install your app tells that they read your articles anyway. You don't have to do that.

why can't you save articles? seems like the most basic, most obvious feature. además sería muy útil tener un right click x traducción. if you install MS translator this sometimes works... sometimes.

Can no longer create a widget with updated version. Part of the reason i even read news is because i first see the headline on a widget while on my home screen and if it's something that interests me then i click to view it. If i am required to go into the app first to view headlines then i will certainly never even open the app. That's just one extra step i won't do. It needs to be in widget form from the beginning to even grab my attention. Sorry but that's just how it is. Deleting app..

Just started using the app and found the highlight and translate option brilliant. Unfortunately its ability to highlight is flaky, which renders this app, for me at least, useless.

Disappointed. Very limited app. Few news, outdated and mostly related with South America. Translation is often poor and using weird grammatical structures. I won't recommend it to learn Spanish.

I suggest a bookmark option or some way to save your favourite articles; I love reading BBC and there are some pretty good and interesting articles I sometimes would like to go back to.

I'd love to give this app a better rating, but as a Spanish learner I need to be able to copy and paste to check my understanding. BBC Mundo doesn't let me do that, so it's nearly useless for me.

Cannot translate all text into English. Useless for a Spanish learner and seems a basic fix that would fix this app. It has decent, current articles so it is a shame

Please fix the app to allow users to copy the words in the articles. I use it to learn Spanish and it is frustrating that I can't copy the words. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Love the content to help with learning Spanish but my god please enable us Spanish learners to be able to translate ALL not just a part of any article. This really let's the app down...

Since the update, all news are displayed in the internal browser setting by default in bright mode. Very very disgusting!! Having your phone in dark mode does not modify the display mode of the new. Please dev team fix it

I have had this app for years. This morning it was changed to BBC. Tried to get my BBC News back but in it appeared in Spanish. I am British so want it in English again. I didnt ask for BBC (in black app). I want my previous BBC News in English). Help someone!

For some reason, I can't select text in some paragraphs in articles. I'm using this app to improve my Spanish so this is very frustrating.

probably a good app, but why not have a single app for all languages? and why does the app for English have ads and stuff? no wonder we are failing at so much and having nationalist fascists and random terrorists if we cannot broadcast the basics.

Uninstalled because long-clicking to select text brings up copy but not translate, unlike accessing the same article in a browser.

What looks like world news should be in English as well as Spanish. Why isn't it? I am very interested in world news . The English BBC news app only has upto 8 world stories. Very disappointed

I love it! Has a suggestion, I think you should develop a dark mode. It would be easy see the news in the night!
