BeautyPlus-Selfie Photo Editor

Love the app but has been a hassle lately.. I keep getting an error when editing pictures, it just says "failed to generate".. If I go clean my cache and data then it works for a while and will error out again. Granted I use this alot with personal editing, but this is something that's only started in the last month or two. Other than that this app is amazing! Please fix the issue! 🙏

Loved this app....not anymore, it has become a hassle to used. Constant ads, when you open, close, save, notifications, etc. Just deleted it after a few times of me trying to save for me to be told it had a filter that and I would have to upgrade to save my photo. Opening the app it applied the filter(I didn't know). So I tried to take it off, would have been cute anyway. I won't let you since it has taken with it, normally you add it after, but if your not checking it does it.

I've bought the full version probably ten times, and singular features several times. Since the app moved to the subscription model, my purchases aren't honored and I feel very scammed. I've used this app for at least 6 years and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Edit: the solution they recommend in the reply to my comment doesn't work, their reading comprehension appears to be very low. I bought the app before it was subscription based and I wasn't able to keep the features. The end.

LOVE THIS APP!! It's pricey (for me, hence why I rated 4 stars. Wish it was more affordable). I was happy that they offered a free 7 day trial however I couldn't afford paying for a yearly subscription. I did end up resubscribing a few days later for a month. I like the automatic photo retouch feature. There's SO many different options to make beautiful photo memories! Lots of fun tools too! I downloaded the app to remove some blemishes and background stuff from a favorite photo and I LOVE IT!

I love it. love the camera, Filters, stickers, effects, layout and interface. The editor incorporates itself into the camera. started with the editor before I knew about the camera so when I used the camera for the first time, it was like the two blended together perfectly. So versatile. I can get lost for a while and come up with the most interesting and sometimes scary photos. One can literally become another person entirely. This is an honest review unsolicited. Great app

Editing my rating from 5 to 2 stars. I've used 1 feature in this app for years that's always been free, but now it's only available with premium. I would pay for premium if it was more reasonably priced (maybe $1.99 monthly or $25 annually), but $8.99 monthly or $50 annually is just not worth it to me for 1 feature. A quick search of the Play store, and I found another app that has the feature I need for free. If the feature goes back to free, or the price drops, I would consider returning.

I was using 3 apps to edit my photos but now I just use this one and I honestly think it's better than the others combined. Beautification tools are marvelous and there are a ton of options. Edits go fast and smoothly from blur, editing things out, or making collages. Selfies and videos can be taken with filters which is really awesome but the one time I did video, it didn't have any sound, which was a bummer. They may have fixed with or it could have been my phone glitching.

Great options for the app, and it can make your pictures look beautiful. But you can't save photos in the same resolution as its original, which is crappy. I did a pic that was 1920x1080 & it saved it at 900x1600. And yes, in the options my settings are set at HD. 😝 It's just that this is the most "HD" we're going to get for picture saving apparently... 😞 which really sucks. 😬

I use this app all the time for my photos, I have uneven texture and color skin tone and the filter is amazing and makes my skin look flawless, or if I want more natural look I can adjust or completely remove this filter feature. Also they have such a large selection of filter types to try out and play with. I would love it if there were a more diverse range of choices though, like there are no cartoon or sketch filters or any kind like that, and I wish they did not charge you for some of them.

I loved to edit my photos using the app. The tools they have truly made my photos so aesthetic and vibrant for the most part. Though I'm neutral with the AI tools, I'd enjoyed making myself and family cartoon-styled for fun. I would recommend beauty plus to anyone who wants to get creative and have fun with editing. 😊 Ignore some silly ads. 🔥💯 Edit on 1/3/26: I uninstalled it because there are premium features I can't afford rn. And the camera gets slow when I move my phone around. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Free x week??? Regardless of any additional promotion free = free not 1.85, not 1.99 not anything else. How can someone even enjoy the app when you're forcing us to buy. And that's not right, and overall false advertising. Apps like this are the ones you never get to enjoy and squeeze money to be able to use. Which is fine, but then don't say 1 week free if you're not gonna honor it...

2020 This was great app at 1st. quit a couple times but effects really work!! Now in 2023 I've used this app a few years and they changed it big time!! Used to be able to do more editing & had more features but they've made it so you have to now pay for the extra editing etc..now it's so-so & very limited. Too bad it was a good app, now it's barely usable because you can't do much of anything free. DN recommend it less u want to spend a bunch for extras.. it's not worth it.

I've had this app for YEARS and have always loved it. But sadly I've had to delete it. I don't mind the ads because there has always been a great balance of free features. But taking away the acne remover feature has solidified for me that this app is no longer for me which really sucks. I have always struggled with acne that I don't always feel like showing in my pictures. But I am not someone who can afford a year subscription for a photo editing app. It was great while it lasted.

Love this app!! I downloaded Beauty Plus around a year ago, I have access to so many cool filters I can add to my photos! There are of course things you need premium for but there is a much larger selection than most apps for the ones of us that don't have premium. Recently though (as of a couple days ago) a bug came up and I cannot log into it, so I'm hoping this gets resolved soon for I use this app alot. I also think a great addition would be to add some features like that of lightrooms.

This is THE best AI app I've ever used. It offers versatile tools and enables users to actually USE the app, rather than bombard them with relentless ads until they merely uninstall and find a better app. This is definitely the top competitor, offers an excellent free service and even further exceptional premium. Best of all, users are able to preview all of the endless options and variety of editing features, scenes and cosmetic changes before finalizing! Changed review from good to BETTER!

After several months of paying monthly for BeautyPlus, I paused my subscription because I didn’t need the app for a while and planned to return later with a yearly plan. Instead, all features were completely locked, even though some tools were free before I ever paid. The app became useless. This is a clear developer mistake and shows zero loyalty. I won’t subscribe again and do not recommend paying if you haven’t yet — after a paid period, the free version is pointless.

Don't bother: this app fails to recognize your devices individual hardware components and peripheral connections. I have a front facing flashlight on my selfie cam and this app doesn't include or recognize it's option to toggle. Other apps do. Good filters and photo tuning/ enhancing options, but poor hardware telemetry with lighting. There are better cheaper apps than this.

love this app. I really enjoy being able to enhance the natural beauty of not only myself, but of those around me too! this app is great for creating unique profile photos for careers, school, other daily activities, and for a more personal photo. all of the different styles I can use to change my look makes it fun to use! I also enjoy getting a year free too! I love that I can use all of the different features such as backlighting, boarders, photo overlays and more! thanks for the awesome app!!

The app is not free & does not have a single free usable feature because EVERY SINGLE feature is behind a pay wall that takes hold of and controls features within your actual phone/device, cutting you off from your phones features. It allows you to save nothing without giving them either $60.00 a year or $12.00 a month. You must provide your credit card information in order to utilize the free trial at which time it deceptively blacks out their monthly plan in an attempt to extort the yearly.

I don't normally take the time to rate apps or leave a review. Most apps do not function as they are described in the about section. This app is a really good app for applying touch ups, making a collage, making photo strips, and much more. That is without purchasing a subscription, so I wonder what features are available with the premium sub??😉
