I'm trying to delete my account, and the app doesn't have a clear way of doing it. The settings options hide each option of changing password, email, address, etc, so it's confusing to sort things out. The customer service is all AI and not well at solving issues. Also, the annual fee to get free shipping is difficult to stop, so you have to either remember to not renew the service in a year or let them take $20 out of your account.

If you're looking for something specific, it is incredibly hard to navigate. The results sometimes just keep repeating as you scroll until you refresh. Also, if you're on the web page, it'll force you into the app without prompting. Finally, the checkout page has this super spammy addition asking you to complete your purchase by adding an additional item, but this is for every single item. Dismissing the section does nothing, it'll just come back regardless.

I'm giving 1 star because the app doesn't show the products you search for, something I really hate, a whole whole lot. Other than that, I have purchased from Overstock in the past before the app and before anyone really heard of them. They have good prices on a lot of items. But if I search with any retailer and their app doesn't give me what I search for, then they lost a potential buy. If I search for jewelry and see diamond inchrusted napkin holders, robes, pots, etc... Forget it.

App is faulty. I downloaded it for the 25% off app purchases. I went to the cart and it showed applied with discount. In the final step where you enter payment details, the discount is no longer applied and removed the automatic discount. There isn't even a code I can use to apply it on the final page because it's supposed to automatically apply at checkout. 😑 Waste of my time.

ordering was easy. but unfortunately when my product arrived, it looked as if it had already been opened and then maybe sent back and I recvd the returned item. it was missing hardware, some of the pieces were open and just thrown in the box and the inside styrofoam was all broken up and smashed. and the lamp shade had broken strings. im hoping it doesn't fall apart on me. I tried to piece it together using things I had on hand to make up for the missing pieces. hoping it works when I plug in.

The app is unusable. Navigating it is like a maze. There is no way to get to the home screen easily. You have to hit back multiple times to get to the home screen. When viewing product listings and changing color selection on items, the image does not get updated to reflect your selection, and with pictures not being labeled with color is impossible to tell which image corresponds to what color. Wayfair makes shopping so much easier!

The Overstock App is the best way for me to have easy access to ALL of my favorite things! It's difficult to find quality items (brand names), offering the lowest prices in one place. The vast array of selections, in every category, always amazes me. I've even discovered hard to find items within Overstock's inventory. This App is user-friendly and full of daily surprises.

The app is horrible. It won't let me sign in ever! For weeks I keep getting unknown error messages and their team is of no help. It's like they can't clear their data. It worked once on my laptop but once I reloaded and tried the app on my phone again, I can't log into the website on my laptop again. Poor app and low tech support. And yes? I've rebooted, reloaded, cleared caches and all.the good stuff. I'm an android user.

Always a good buy, simple, fast shipping and customer service exceeds all expectations. I have been a customer for over 10 years and always check overstock for major purchases and 9 out of 10 times their price beats the box store by at least 50 or more dollars. I don't think I've ever said this about an online shopping outlet...but I love Overstock. I bet you will too, they have just about anything you want to buy or need to buy!

Beware!!! Don't use Overstock for purchasing a thing! They do not allow cancelations even if the item has not been processed. This is a ridiculous policy. Further, they do not allow returns if an item does not work out because of color or size. You may only return an item if it is defective. Amazon and Wayfair let you cancel and make returns for any reason. Use them not "O" !!!!

Updated to 4 stars because they company corrected the app and now it works great. I'm not sure why the previous update broke it up, at least the company listens and corrects things. It's appreciated since I do a lot of online shopping for my customers. Horrible. The app freezes everytime I try and use it. I thought it was a needed update, tried that, still freezes. Then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling just to be sure, freezes as soon as I open it.

Watch the "coupons/ sales". The item will reflect a discount when viewing the item and even when you add it to your cart. However once you start processing the order the discount disappears and they charge you full price. My latest order for item 28998669 was supposed to be on sale for 19% off but they charged my credit card for the full amount and sent an order confirmation showing no sale price. Not pleased with the bait & switch tactics.

GREAT APP! If you sew an item you like, and the price is too high, I recommend checking daily for price fluctuations and sales. I've caught some great deals by stalking the app. It's very user friendly. I don't remember ads and pop-ups being an issue, and the app and computer version are pretty much in sync, which I like.

This is definitely not a cheaper online store. I'm hunting for couches and chairs and decided to give this app a shot. I've found the exact same pieces of furniture and storage containers and such other goods on Amazon, Wal-Mart, and wayfair for cheaper (by the HUNDREDS) - disappointed. Id even understand if it was higher quality, but likeI've stated, this is the EXACT same stuff.

better than Amazon and wayfair in my opinion! Edit: 5 star to a 2 star. All of the products I purchased are great the reason I changed the rating is because after purchasing a bunch of items I decided one was not needed so I didn't even open the package and started the return process, which was as easy as dropping it off at a ups store, I went to check my email on the refund status only to find I was refunded 13 cents out of $20 for return shipping!!! What a joke!

I am new to online shopping and Overstock has made the transition a whole lot easier then some of the others. They have a customer service phone number where a decent human actually answers & is ready & willing to help you!!! They know what they're talking about & if they can't help you then they make sure that they get you to the right person/department. I'm very impressed by, the app, it's pretty understandable, the quality of merchandise, and most certainly the cust.service & fraud dept.

I have ordered several items from Overstock and most the items were very good quality. I wasn't impressed with the rugs I purchased. They seemed cheaply made for the price I paid. Overall I am pleased with the app and the variety of items available. Orders arrive fast and returns are easy. My favorite place to buy Christmas gifts. Get their credit card and join their club for extra discounts and perks.

App doesn't work on android. When the screen loads, and you have the option to sign in or sign up, it freezes. Tapping on anything doesn't work. The only thing you can do is exit the app. Love the site, but this is unacceptable for the app. And before someone says it, I am using the most updated app because I just downloaded it. I've also reinstalled it 4 times.

The app lets you order and PAY for items they don't have in stock. It's not updated with in-stock items, and the delivery dates are made up and wrong. This may be more directed at the company than the app, but I would highly recommend not even purchasing from BBB. Some of it seems like a scam...just letting you spend money on nothing. Given 3 stars simply because the app works and whatnot on my phone, but again, a lot of it seems scam-like.

We used Overstock for the first (and last) time and they sent us the wrong item. Instead of making it right, they are charging us to return the item and it's a large, heavy item. So we get to pay for their mistake. Hayneedle on the other hand has AWESOME customer service. We got a damaged item from them and they got us a new item quickly with no cost to us.
