Their Annie is AI, which is useless. Their support emails all say to use the app for 'best service'. I did a trial, canceled before it was over, and they have been trying to charge my account since. I closed my card because getting someone with MoboReader to help is impossible. I provided screenshots, explained the situation, asked for an 'agent' so many times, and still no contact from a real person. What's even more insane is in the 'purchase' tab, nothing is there! What are you charging for?!

Read a few chapters for free. Then an ad per chapter, only it's one of those "1 of 2 ads" things, so you have to watch 2 ads to read a pitifully tiny chapter. then, a out 30 or so tiny chapters in, it goes to 2 ads to unlock a chapter. and again, with the "1 of 2 ads" per each one you watch, so more like 4 ads. you can pay to read, but that is $9.99 per WEEK! This is ridiculous. I understand and agree with paying authors for their work, but all of these aps are a waste of time and money.

I read, a lot. So I checked out this app. I started a book, read 180+ chapters. Sounds like a lot but most chapters were only 2 pages long, and you have to watch 2 or 3 sets of ads each chapter, each set being 2 or 3 ads. That's a lot of time not reading. I'm sorry to say I'm uninstalling the app, the book had promise but the ads killed it for me.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that watching a short ad would open the next chapter. Finally a reading app that doesn't require an expensive subscription or limit reading to a few short chapters. Then the ads got longer, then watching 2, 3, 4 to open. And the plot changed, the names changed. Over and over. Neverending. Just like all the others. Don't waste your time or money. These aren't complete books, they're money grabs.

I should have checked reviews. The ads are awful. They say "watch 2 ads" but then each "ad" is really 3 ads in one. And they usually make you watch 2 of those, so in reality you have to watch 6 or sometimes 9 to read a chapter that takes less time than 1 actual ad. they do seem to give you a bit of a break after midnight or early in the morning and you only have to watch one actual ad. But that is very short-lived. I'm deleting, no time for such nonsense.

I just finished one book and it was absolutely awful. the story was full of errors and confusing plotlines. some characters who were major, just disappeared. if this is the type of book you provide on your app, it is just a waste of time. so frustrating... especially when you have to watch ads before each chapter (and they are not long!)

One star is far too valuable. Story was pretty good, but to read two pages of text, you have to watch at least two ads, and up to five. my time is more valuable. Ridiculous. I also noticed that ads I've seen on other apps are longer on this one. More ads...longer ads..good grief! Update. I reached a screen that said "Updating". I followed all the instructions from the online help. The last suggestion was to reload the app. I did that, and now to read the end, I'd have to watch ads again.

Two to three ads after every chapter that are 1 to 2 minutes each is excessive. Especially when the chapters are only 4 to 6 pages each, and when you can't go back to a previous chapter without having to watch ads again to get back to where you were. The book I started had over a 1000 chapters, based on my percent done when I stopped reading. It wasn't worth it by chapter 200. There are too many other apps with less ads and MUCH less expensive non-ad options with the same quality of books.

3½ maybe 4 pages per "chapter" then ads. Bar says watch 2 ads to open the next chapter. good luck. 3, 4 maybe 6 ads. certain ads, like Anytime Fitness buggers your ad count. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200. you spend more time navigating ads than you do reading. Stay the Hell away. this app is not the best. far from it. too bad. I was liking the story, but I can't deal with these ads. 4,6,8 ads when the bar says watch 2. not going to pay their prices for ad-free.

I just wanted to read a good book. Being charged $10 a week (for 3 weeks now) to read something that appears to have at least 3 separate authors and a never ending storyline wasn't something I expected. Now that I have read over 1k chapters of that book, and supposedly reached 100% of the story being read, I am highly disappointed that the book just drops off at the end of a chapter with no option for future chapters. Disappointing at best. Canceling.

The "free" books were anything but free. I don't mind watching a few ads but this got ridiculous. At first you would have to watch 2 ads between chapters, but then the number of ads kept increasing. The one book I read was almost 800 chapters (at least 4 or 5 chapters were the length of normal ebooks), so that was a lot of ads. And frankly the book wasn't great. I cancelled after that one book.

I enjoyed the books I was reading. aside from some grammar errors and inconsistent parts. the annoying adds were crazy!! I wanted to at least finish the last book I was reading, but the app went blank. I Uninstalled and reinstalled several times for the same result. library was empty, no books at all to show and searching didn't bring up anything. its blank, nothing loading, nothing showing. don't understand. can you please look into it

The book I am currently reading reading is interesting/entertaining, lots of twists and and turns caused mainly by envy and jealousy towards the the main female character- common in most of these books. My main issue with this app is navigating past the app within the chapters. As you get further into the story, the add seem to be stuck or you find yor are directed to an "updating" page with the only option is to choose another story. I guess this is what you get with the "free" version.

It started out good and let me read a chunk to get me engrossed in the story. Then the ads started. At first it was one ad for one chapter. As I kept reading the chapters got shorter and the number of ads for a chapter keeps increasing. I'm getting frustrated and thinking the story is not worth the hassle.

Starts off with 1 ad after several pages, long chapters... then switches to two ads, which is actually 4 ads since there's 2 ads in each, for 3 or 4 pages. The chapters get smaller and smaller. The books are good, but the ads are ridiculous. They're trying to pressure you into paying $9.99 a week for no ads... an extremely slimy tactic. PERHAPS THEY SHOULD READ ALL THESE 1 STAR REVIEWS AND SEE PEOPLE AREN'T HAPPY WITH THE AD LIES! Their standard response is the same with all unhappy customers.

This app is ok. The story is good but the ads are annoying. It says I have to watch one ad and I'll end up having to watch 6. The chapters take less than a minute to read then the ad takes 3. Edit.. I'm deleting this app. After watching all those stupid ads, I don't get to keep the book. Everything expired. It's not even worth 1 star. I'll stick with Kindle, Where I get to keep the books.

once you sign up you can't cancel the subscription no matter what you try. Next option is legal and filing harassment plus fraud since the email address they provided to cancel when I signed up for the 1 week trail, I sent them an email and they have not followed through as they were told. dont download at all. Just do the annoying ads if you want to read anything they have here. Also, "Annie" is worthless and she tells you that when you chat with her. the chat bot tells you she can't cancel.

About to completely uninstall this app with it being like "watch these 2 ads to see next chapter" then when I do it's like "you still have to watch these 3 ads" and the chapters are way too short to be worth 5 or six long annoying ads. Spending more time watching ads than reading this book. Not worth the energy. Hopefully it gets fixed or I'll just find a better app. Or better yet I might just spend money on ACTUAL paper books that were fully published.

If I could give this no stars I would! This app is a complete joke, if you don't pay you watch 2+ ads to read a chapter??? It's a joke what they consider a chapter, it's 1 damn page on a cell phone...not even close to a book page, then more and more ads! Save your time and look for something else or better yet, spend the $ on an actual book to read.

Based on one book. 4* because you can read indefinately by watching ads and the book I've read was generic but good, didn't change up character names, or destroy the English language. This author also didn't pad the chapters. I am uninstalling it because you usually have to watch 2 ads (30sec-2min each) per chapter and the chapters averaged 6.5 screens. The only subscription is $10/wk. If the ad is an orange gift wheel (Temu), close it, you're stuck.
