Over all I think it's good. I only use it for our Coleman Saluspa, but it connected with no issues, and works as expected. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, it would be AMAZING if we could turn on notifications or alerts in the app to alert when a device is disconnected, or for the Spa's specific, if you could set temp warnings. We live in a cold region, and if the Hot tub shuts off, there is a chance it could freeze. A warning could save us. Other than that, it works as expected.

Frustration App just doesn't work well. First time, connect and everything was fine. Somehow the connection was lost and now cannot reconnect. I have done all of the troubleshooting steps possible. the app quickly times out every time at 33% . Seems an issue with the app/cloud but their answer is go through the warranty process to replace the entire pump..... so dumb. If they share the API key ill go build my own.

Flaky app and no option for support. My spa was working fine. I unplugged it and it came up with flashing WiFi light. I have not been able to get it back online. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it. I cannot get the unit to connect to my WiFi router 10 ft away @ 10+ tries. There is no way to reach out to support. This has always been a flaky system. It will randomly drop WiFi connection and is difficult to get reconnected. Without WiFi there is no way to schedule it to run. Frustrating!!!

I had trouble connecting at first but I had put in the wrong type of spa. Once I put on the right one, it connected fine. I don't have any problem controlling the spa with the app. What doesn't work is the scheduling. The app has the capability to schedule the heat and the filter for repeating days. But it is confusing to set up, even if it did work. Once I set it up, nothing happens. Without the timer, I have to run the heat for extra hours to use it first thing in the morning.

everything worked fine the app connected to the spa and I was able to control the heat, pump, temperature, and for some odd reason the bubbles as well. it can all be controlled when your away from home. you need to have location permission for the app and you need to have Bluetooth on I'm giving it 4 stars due to the location requirement. thats simply marketing information for bestway.

When I purchased my spa, it stated programmable timer up to 45 day scheduling. I downloaded the app and connected without issue. I went into the settings and was able to create a program for the heater and filter. Unfortunately, when I went to save it, it advised that feature is not available in demo mode!?!? I then added a my home and moved the spa to that and I have never seen the schedule option again... poor quality control and usability testing!

I could have sworn that when I downloaded this it automatically set the timing for the pool pump. Then there was an issue and I had to reinstall the app. Now I have to remember to manually reset the timing every so many hours. As a result, my pool has been overrun with algae and it's cost me a small fortune in supplies to fix it.

Compete garbage. My phone is literally sitting on top of the filter and after seeing the connection for 1 second will not connect anymore. Have tried on multiple devices and still this app will not connect. The actual activation email took a couple days to get to me, and that was only after I had to agree to marketing emails. This whole thing is complete garbage and will be replaced as soon as I can with a better working filter.

Had the spa now for about a year. Everything is work, except the WiFi control. I had it working just find all this time. then it stop working. It forced me to do an update on the software, and now it does not work. The software can find the product as instructed in manual, or it can find my WiFi network, it keeps telling me that it FAILED. Now I need to manually select function from the keypad on the pump. Also, the Air Bubble button will not work unless I turn off the system, wait for pump to stop, turn on controller, and select Heater, Filter then Bubbles.. This system DOES NOT have a timer function. you can NOT set a timer to turn on and off the system for more then a day. I dont think set up of a timer each day is practical. The Spa itself is very well made and no other issues after one year.

Edit: I raised the stars and if give it 4.5 if I could. I have figured out the scheduling and it works! It starts when I set it, runs for the length of time I set, sets either the heat or the filter, and repeats on whatever days and time you set. It is hard to understand the directions on how to do this. Setup didn't work the first 3 times I tried but I had the wrong type of spa in the beginning. Fix that and it connects fine

I downloaded this primarily to setup a filtering schedule for my Saluspa - you can't. The app looks nothing like the images shown here and has very limited functionally. You can turn functions on and off (power, filter, heat) and you can even schedule heating (for that day, not as a recurrence). But you can't schedule filtering, so you have to open the app the turn it on, open the app the turn it off. Annoying!!!

Rating dropped. The app has changed!! I lost the ability to turn filter on and off. Sometimes, I just want to run filter to clean and freshen water when not in use. The option was just there the other day. I uninstalled and reinstalled app, to no avail. This sucks!! I like the convenience of using app as opposed to going outside. Put it back, please!

Could not get the app to connect to the pump. The directions are over-simple. The process to add a product in the app reaches about 38% and fails, stating the device is not in the distribution network. I am connected to the 2.4Ghz band on my Wi-Fi router, situated 2.5 feet from the router (& have the 5Ghz band on a separate named network). Scrapping the app and going with manual control on the pump's control panel.

Scheduling was working fine for almost a year. Then recently all my schedules got deleted on their own. I redid them but it never worked right. Now suddenly the scheduling button is behind the android home button and is inaccessible. So app is basically useless unless i just want to turn on and off.

Hmm. Can only agree with earlier comments. Setup went fine after making sure wifi is stronger than needed for other devices. I could even control the SPA (Milan) with all settings in the app. Then today, the day after, I can still connect and I see via the APP all the settings (temp, filter, heat etc.), but can no longer change anything anymore . Looks like the command gets sent, then it bumps back in the app to old settings and nothing happens on device. Not sure what goes wrong.

After 2 months without problems, my spa doesn't seem to want to sync with my app schedule anymore, even though the switch in the app shows it is on. It should be made clearer if the schedule is actually successfully synced with the spa. Also, it would be nice if the app displayed the ACTUAL water temperature up top, in large text, so it is easier to quickly glance at the app and see if the spa is up to temperature. I am well aware what temp I desire the spa to be!

Absolutely horrible app. Just bought this spa, tried everything cannot get it to connect . Deleted the app 8 times and reinstalled it. Powered off the spa and powered it back up. Watched YouTube videos, everything possible. Still nothing. Will get to the point where it's connecting and nothing. It goes back to the beginning every time and wipes out everything I've done. Beyond frustrated.

Worked great with first time setup... for a day. Then the Wi-Fi lost the connection to the router. I reset the spa unit and did a clean reinstall of the app, but it won't connect to my router even after a dozen attempts. Exact same location, and my phone connects to the spa's hotspot just fine, but now there's no way to enter my router's SSID. I can enter the key but not the SSID Since the spa doesn't have a real time clock and scheduler, that's a major problem. Epic fail.

after using this for close to a year. seems now the schedule feature not working. can still use the app for basic functions, but seems the schedule feature doesn't work anymore.

This is by far the worst garbage app I have ever had the displeasure of trying to use. No reason it needs access to my location to get wifi signal. Spent 2 hours fighting to try to get it to connect and finally gave up and uninstalled. Also has no 5 ghz support, which is almost all wifi now. Completely useless app! Wish I could have given it 0 stars.
