The app itself is fine, does what it needs to do. has issues on occasion force closing and what not but all in all alright. biolife as a company is the issue, mainly the debit cards. I donated yesterday evening and here the following morning I've still not been paid. apparently the whole system crashed. finally after a 30 min hold and wading through the bs to finally find a number, and that automated nonsense. was told id be paid by mid ight that night at the latest. never happened.

The BioLife in Denton is wonderful, everyone is so nice. My 2 star rating is for the app. It's constantly glitching, closing, and having all kinds of issues. The idea of the app is very convenient but it only works maybe 50% of the time. EDIT: 6 years later and this review still holds true so going to 1 star. I can't even log in. y'all want a verification code for my email but restart the app if I leave to check my email. or it just force closes. ITS BEEN YEARS!!! FIX THIS!

03/02/26 App says to update. Playstore says to open. Can't get into app. It is very frustrating that the app no longer allows me to stay logged in as a choice. I have to enter my log in credentials every time I need to use it and it's not the most convenient, particularly when entering the information correctly and it tells me my credentials are invalid. Not all the time, but it's happened at least ahalf dozen times since the upgrade. I don't find the upgrade new and improved at all.

While the app is easy to use and schedule appointments, I've had previous issues regarding choosing the locations to donate, as well as rescheduling when I've missed the slotted time. I would suggest a delete all messages button on the messages because it is tedious to click delete for each single message notification. Honestly, I'd rate the app a 3 and a 1/2 out of 5. BioLife centers? 10/10, especially the Joliet center, for helping when the app doesn't work.

They pay much lower than the other plasma centers, seem short staffed often, very slow and disorganized, it takes me 2 and a half up to 3 and a half hours every time. It's starting to become not worth it. Other places are paying on average $120 to $130 a week after bonuses. And this place changes the pay weekly which isn't normal. Nowhere else does that. I'm about to start going somewhere else. Having to be there so long, should pay more. It's one thing if it's only 30 to 45 minutes.

Basically, the same experiences as many of the other reviews. As a company, I think the employees are really trying to make it as comfortable and efficient as possible, and I really appreciate that; however, the app is absolutely pathetic. The app is slow, crashes, it's sometimes difficult to set an appointment or to cancel/reschedule one; it says you didn't set an appointment, and although I have alway been paid, sometimes it's not immediately. Please fix app., then, I would increase to 5 star✨

This app is great . . . when it works. Much of the time it is hot garbage. Currently it won't let me connect to my account without retrying to log in at least twice. There is also no way of contacting support outside of a negative review in the Play Store. Update: Still no way to contact support, and since their last update I can't use the app at all. It rejects my user name and password, even though they work on the website.

While I haven't read the other most current reviews completely, the gist seems to be a consensus from everyone and I agree. I didn't have any problems with the app until this last update. Now, my balance is often unavailable, I keep getting an error when trying to schedule an appointment, something about API, or I get a different error about the server being busy. I can't regularly make appointments and it's affecting my donations. Ugh!

Every time I try to log in, I have to have a '''one-time''' authentication code sent to my email and enter it before being able to log in. Checking the 'remember me' box does nothing. The app logs you out every time you close it, so I've had to have a code sent multiple times a day. Can't redeem points from the app either. The one perk is that it's easy to make appointments & check for promos, but its such a pain to get to that stage that I don't even want to open the app to do it.

This app has not worked at all in 2 days for me. I can't get in and if I do it keeps telling me to "retry" because the calendar won't load and it won't show me a balance. I've installed/uninstalled it 3 times in these 2 days. Extremely frustrating. It's been like this on and off for months now. Now it's saying a don't have an account and I've been donating for the last 9 months! To say I'm irate right now would be an understatement! I get emails to that same user ID every other day!!! UGH

I used to love the app. It was easy to maneuver and login to and stay logged in. But since the update it is a pain to login since you have to re-login every single time (and you typically have to completely close the app 90% of the time after opening it to reboot it so you can login). I also miss being able to use my biometric option to bypass the typing of the username and password. With it being do inconvenient to log in, everything else becomes just irritating about the app.

This update in March 2021 is horrible. It doesn't save our info so we have to log in everytime. Also for logging in,, it doesn't ever work the first time,, I have to close out again and go back into it and redo my name and pw. Super annoying. I cannot reschedule appointments as it doesn't show me all times as it used to, so I have to cancel then reschedule. GO BACK TO THE OLD APP PLEASE

3 stars because ever since one of the last updates, the app makes you sign in EVERY time. The touch ID is cool and all, but I don't use my fingerprint for anything on my phone. It would be much better if it remembered my login info and I could go from there. I'd almost rather not use the app at all and just use the website, but the app is more convenient. Please fix!

The update is awful. Any time I want to log in I have to reset the password because for some stupid reason it won't take it. Another thing is that the donation center I usually go to has changed to another, which is an 1 and half away . You can't even change the donation center on the app you have to call. It is a nightmare, since no one is avaible and they just send you to an answering machine. Pretty much terrible service from the app and company. I recommend going in person.

I got a notification asking me to update so I did. Then I had to enter verification number that was sent to my email. By the time I went to my email, scrolled to find the number, wrote it down, and went BACK to enter it, the time had expired. This happened 3 times and now my account is locked. You dont allow enough time to do all that! So now I have no way of signing in to check my balance, schedule appointment, or redeem rewards. This is freakin' ridiculous! It used to be easy! Now it sucks!

The app is the same as online, it lets me put all my info in, then says technical difficulties try again later. Everything i have entered is correct etc. Online and the app has been doing this for months. I don't want to waste gas going there just to sign up and go home. This app needs to be fixed asap! Also has no way to contact through the app for help!

Update due to new version: Somehow you managed to make the app worse. I agree with the other recent reviews. It is beyond me how a medical company is not able to get their online presence together - over the span of several years. Most basement startups do better than this. One good thing - looks like coupon codes can now actually be entered in the app (even though afterwards there is no record of one having been entered). Big problem (actually for both app and website) - user data from the center is not fully synced. This means I was able to schedule a donation today only to find out at the center that I needed a physical (despite my last donation having been less than 6 months ago and my regular scheduled physical being due in August). This cause my visit to last about 1.5h longer than planned. Very buggy. Often the app won't let me log in and entering promo codes does not work. unfortunately the whole Biolife online presence leaves much to be desired. One would think a medical company is able to invest more into their app and website.

Was this tested before it was released? Making an appointment is difficult, errors pop up; Logging in is a pain in the butt, no fingerprint or automatic login. Sometime app says credentials are wrong when I know they are not. Promotion notifications do not have a code for employee to put in the computer, so most of them just lie to you and say the promotion is automatic. This app is a joke. More than a month and no updates to correct these major issues :(

I have been trying to redeem my rewards points on the biolife application for over a month and it keeps saying that points redeem is temporarily unavailable. It's been saying that for over a month, when will it be available? I can't stand seeing it anymore how long does it take to fix a software issue? It's like they do it so we cant cash out on our rewards and get paid because why on earth has it been saying the same thing for over a month?

Not loving having to completely log in every time. It would be nice if it at least remembered my username. I can't schedule appointments because it keeps giving error messages that I entered the wrong number of children for childcare. It won't let me alter the number of children. I'm not trying to bring any children. It's a glitch that happens 90% of the time when I'm trying to set up appointments. When the app stops people from setting up appointments, you would think that would be a big deal.
