Buggy every time! I prefer when our wait staff types in our number, but tonight we tried, yet again, to use the app. 8 mins to try to figure out how to apply the reward, then failed to load it 4x, finally loads up, then errors 3x for payment before it finally goes through. It's just sooooo much easier to have the server type in the number. This app is worthless except to check where your rewards are.
It's a fair app. However, I use it to track points, and it says 1 pt per dollar spent, and I go quite regularly. so every time I go, I only get one pt... but recently, I spent $100 ($30 alcohol) and got a whopping 2 points. In what world is that a point for each dollar spent. at this rate, I'll have to spend $1000 to get a $10 reward. I contacted their customer service, promised a response, and nothing...so what is it? Their point system isn't doing what they say it is supposed to be doing.
Just show me what the restaurant has available. Some things it tells you aren't available when you try to select them. Other things it doesn't tell you until you try to pay. It shouldn't be so difficult for me to figure out what I can order from you. Ended up giving up on drinks and deserts after one after the other said it wasn't available when I went to pay. And it only tells you one thing at a time so you get the error, go back remove the item, order something else, then repeat the failure.
Wing even pop up a keyboard so you COULD enter an address. Does NOT utilize GPS from my phone (Galaxy 22), and basically makes it impossible to locate any nearby restaurants ( i don't need to know where they are, I'm very familiar with the area and visit one local BJ's regularly, but it'd be nice to be able to access the wait list!) App is completely USELESS.
For the second time, I've placed an order to be delivered at a later time. For the second time, the order was immediately submitted, made, and delivered before the scheduled time. Why each time you change screens does a pop up appear to change the date, time, and address? It is unnecessary and just leads to wasted time and potential for error. Why do details change during each step of the payment process? Again, just leads to more errors.
There is always something with this app. We have to use the app because ordering on the website doesn't work with my tablet. Yesterday, we tried to order food on the app and it kept moving our order to tomorrow instead of today's date. Very frustrating! Still poor experience. Why not add a way to check in on the app? Having to call in and being put on hold to just tell them we are here.
Nothing works. Can't find my table/ticket when I try to push through the app. Cashier can't find my rewards ID on her side of the system. Order Ahead will process in the app and then when I get there... no record of my order. Just got an email confirming me of a birthday dessert offer... go to the app, nothing there. Look, i love the restaurant add the app is a nice idea, but it is absolute flaming garbage and, in the case of account-only offers, is activy sabotaging the rewards program.
Recent changes have damaged my experience. No longer best payment app. 😣 This app no longer keeps a record of credit card number, even though I've asked it to remember multiple times in the past few weeks. Quite disappointing, compared to how it worked for years. It was the best restaurant payment app ever; no other payment app, as compared to a dozen restaurants, works as well, or even close. Easy, quick. It works every time without hassle and accurately.
The app worked great up until yesterday! I was able to order on the app, pay if i was in the restaurant, and check to see what promotional offers were available. Well... the app took a dive yesterday and right on FREE PAZOOKIE DAY!! The app keeps saying that it lost my last connection. I tried while connected to the wifi and to the regular network. Nothing! I missed out on free pazookie day, I did not feel like walking into the restaurant and waiting for the food.
Lately the app has gotten worse. It put 3 holds on my credit card for the posted order. I can only imagine the trauma if it was linked to a debit card and it had tripled the charge amount. Bank sees it as pending and I can't tell them it was an app error. I have used it before and progressively it has been getting worse. The first few times were okay.
Worst app ever. It's sluggish and often doesn't submit information. In some cases, you can put a note for a customization, e.g. "dressing on the side", but it's not consistent. On a group order, there's no obvious way to submit the payment. Turns out, you have to go to the left-hand menu and select Mobile Pay. This app often just flat out doesn't work, as well.
Updating my review because it seems like their servers were down since log in was broken on their website as well. 3 stars for now, I'd recommend a more specific error message that gives the user more information. One final update, the mobile pay feature was not working for me (on the last step). I think 3/5 is a good spot until the all features are working correctly. Version 3.9.1 Pixel 6 Android 13
Absolutely horrible app. Tried and tried to create an account it was incredibly buggy, kept saying I had an account but I definitely don't. Then I just went ahead as a guest and placed an order. When I got to the tip area it had 3 pre-set tip amounts and also "other"... I clicked "other" and the next screen just said "thanks we've charged your account $xx.xx (the price plus one of the random pre-set tip amounts). So buggy! Terrible coding and UI.
We love the restaurant, but the app seems useless. We checked in on the wait list, but once we made it to the restaurant we were told that it doesn't matter, we get put on the bottom of the list as if we never used the app. If that's the case, don't put the option out there. Paying with the app has never worked. Once you hit the pay button, it just won't go through.
Would give zero stars, bit one star is the lowest. On main drop-down menu, there is no category for Orders. When I got to the restaurant, I spent several minutes looking for my order to confirm with the staff. That is a primary reason I even use this app. You have to dig down deep into rewards and history to find your current and past orders. This is a HUGE miss and should be fixed ASAP.
This app sucks. I added one thing to my cart, and then it kept giving me an error message anytime I tried to add something else. When I tried to remove that item from my cart, it just... wouldn't. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didn't change anything. Frustrating, I was going to order through a different way, but now I just don't want it anymore.
This app always says an error has occurred, in order to use it I need to uninstall it and reinstall. Also doesn't show my points or history. When I order online and pick up, I have mentioned these problems to manager. He has said that a lot of customers have the same problem and that they are trying to fix these things on the app. It has been over a year and the problem is still not fixed. Very frustrating.
The add your points from previous visits didn't work for me. i tried it several times. I know they have a record of me dinning there because my credit card was billed for my meals immediately. This place is getting worse and with other restaurants opening close to it. i don't think it will last long. The app is Okay.
You are unable to pay with the app since the last update. you don't even have the option to look up your check on the app and if it is linked and you try to pay it lets you go through the whole process until you say okay to submit and then it freezes up and you can't do anything. And I have no way of seeing if I got credit for my prior purchases unless I try to load my receipt and it tells me I already got credit but I can't see it anywhere.
The system canceled my order because they dont have bottled rootbeer ready to go. But wasn't notifed now possibly getting double charged. Also didnt have what I originally wanted and was forced to get other options. Food comes out cold no matter what time you show up to pick it up. Works well to reserve a table...but cant do that either. Hope it's just temporary with this location. Was really good
